In reality, I don't watch or read much of what I pirate either. I do that for my family; I've gotten them accustomed to unlimited, free multimedia and have built them servers in order to provide it.

For me, it's a game. I enjoy the very basics of ranking up, watching my numbers go up, contributing, enjoying the feedback I receive as a result, and collecting rare tracker accounts. I also enjoy crafting solutions for problems, such as having too much data, and learning how my ISP tracks my traffic and outsmarting their efforts to stop me while maintaining minimal cost per month overhead.

It's up to you whether you want to play the game. It doesn't seem like you want to, and that's fine. Do what you enjoy.

Right now? An insane amount. This thread is also going to give you incredibly bad advice on how to join trackers. Never accept invites from 4chan, IRC, reddit, or any other forum. You will be banned and they will never let you back in, ever. You've been warned.

Wait for some tracker to open applications (like Animebytes or GazelleGames) and get in properly. Once you're in climb the ranks and get official recruitment. It doesn't matter if you don't like anime or video games, that's just the way the system works.

It's pretty easy, you just have to find stuff to upload. People will call you a cuck or tell you that uploading is impossible because X or Y or "everything is already there", but they're completely wrong. GazelleGames and Animebytes are two examples of where they're wrong, you can upload anime/gaming OST mp3s, it's very easy.

All you need to do is make power user and get access to the official invite forums. The high end trackers like PTP/BTN will take forever to reach, but they are also the trackers that will fuck you over the hardest if you try to take shortcuts from official recruitment.

If you're thinking "this is a lot of autism", then you are correct. But its a means to an end. The end being well organized, high quality (compared to public trackers) content.
