I couldn't find enough qoL improvements for the Pro3. Essentially only the beefier processor in it makes a difference but I dont play games on my phone anyways so it wouldn't make a difference to me.

The A8-7600 (kaveri) beats the i3-6100 (skylake) in multi-core by ~5% and a slightly better iGPU so it does well on games that use DX12 or that can efficienctly use more 4 cpu threads.

However it does lose to the i3-6100 by 35% in single thread performance so the i3 would do better in older games or games that can only efficiency use 2 cpu threads.

Anyway reason I recommend the A8 is because it's about half the cost of the i3 and most modern games can efficiency use 4 cpu threads now especially with DX12.

Good question, my brother is a artist and he prefer a phone with good DeltaE display below 3.5 for portable referencing. At the same time (mid-2k14) I was wondering about getting a music player for myself and found out about the samshit note 3. And that's how I got spoiled about being picky to these kinds of devices.
Plus that s-pen is pretty nice and fun to use as a sketchbook and useful towards everyday usage.

Anyway, I wish the Note 5 supported sdcards then I'll just call it a day, otherwise fml the note 7 was my last hope. I could get the s7 edge before but I was a waitfag. Now I don't mind sacrificing the pen for now until the next note arrives.

However the V20 caught my attention for a new phablet. But its not what I expected for it's price range. Considering it's main display, for example the color gamut is a bit off (average dE4.7-5.1 max9.5) from being accurate. And the audio quite powerful (0.99v, 72db) considering the meme 'quad-dac' it suffers in stereo crosstalk raise of -57.5.
Everything else about it is astonishing, except for that glass for the camera is fragile as thin ice and LG notorious bootlooping reputation. Otherwise LG done goofed again.

This year chinkphones are doing really good for the value. I hope next year wouldn't be shitty for flagship phones.

What OS are you running? Is Replicant any good?

Currently, I am between a Google Pixel, HTC 10, OP3 and S7 Flat. I am living in Brazil so I would need to import the HTC 10 (827 USD), OP3 (805 USD) and Google Pixel (don't know). I can get a S7 flat for 680 USD and, as far as I know, between those 4 it would be the best overall (camera, hardware, battery, build quality, etc.), but I don't really like the Exynos SoC (because it doesn't perform well with custom ROMs) and TouchWiz (it would be great if I could get a "stock feel").

What are your suggestions?

What public trackers are best for Android games?

The fingerprint sensor of the RN3P works on stock miui quite well (unlocks instantly from what I've seen in reviews) but I want cyanogen/aosp on this phone because fuck chinese software, is there any custom ROM compatible with "kate" yet? Just "downgraded" from an S7 Edge to one of the $250 Moto X Pure on sale at Best Buy.

The S7 was literally the worst phone I had ever owned, the thing was a laggy piece of shit. It hung when switching between apps and apps often froze, took forever for the camera become usable, and I couldn't fix the issues with a hard reset. The phone seemed to be fine too, benchmarked where it should so no hardware faults. TouchWiz is just the worst.

The Moto X is noticeably smoother despite the older SOC and less RAM.

K10000 has an MTK6735 (1.3GHz A53x4) which is equivalent to SD410. this SoC is from 2013. it's pretty weak.

Ordered the LeS3 with the TPU case and a screen protector. This is gonna be great. I wasn't gonna be able to use the power of the 821 anyways since I don't mobile game. The smaller battery in the S3 over the Pro3 is also a regret but not worth dropping 150$ more on it in my case.

I rarely use music, so that isn't much of a bother to me since I only have 3gb of data with my plan. Nor do I envision using more than the 32gb. That would be a lot of dolphin porn. Not sure on the Camera specs, but that mattered to me a lot. I currently work with a 2mp front facing and a 5mp back facing so either way it will be a massive upgrade to me.

So I installed CyanogenMod 13 on my Redmi Note 3 Pro and I have to say that it works perfectly. Fingerprint sensor, wifi, Bluetooth, camera etc all working perfectly. Apparently they are working on CyanogenMod 14 that has Nougat and some have already gone to it but it isn't perfect yet so I'll wait.

MIUI isn't even that bad really, I used it for around 3 months until I thought that I should probably go back to stock Android, didn't really have a reason just had some free time.

I honestly don't think I'll buy another non chinkphone ever again.

Alright boys, I'm about to post this and go to bed, I'll see the responses after work

I'm in Canada, I plan on getting a phone with Wind on Friday. I given it a couple weeks thought and I've boiled it down to 2 phones LG V20 and LG G5 with a $40 wind tab plan (If I get the V20 I'm adding a $15 wind boost to the plan maiking if $55). I'm not down with paying for a phone outright right now.

As you know the specs of the phones are pretty identical, a few differences that matter are G5 is $250 cheaper but the V20 is better looking, already comes with the B&O plaything, V20 has 64 gb internal, and it comes with $200 headphones. I'm content with the G5 but if you guys think I should get the V20 I will.

I've actually been eyeballing phones for the past 3 months now.

I ended up going with the G5. I had the G3 for 2 1/2 years and it was great. G5 development is just starting to take off and the CM team is working for 7.0 on it right now.

I got mine for $330 mint condition and slapped a nice case on it for about $345 total.

The single speaker on this thing actually sounds REALLY good, which is weird. It doesn't have that tinny make your ears hurt because you're autistic sound. It's got a nice thud and boom to it and it's really balanced.
