First time Chinese phone buyer, making sure I'm doing this right. So I plan on buying a Redmi Note 3, this one specifically:

I'd like to use it over the Ting GSM network. Since that version of the Redmi Note 3 supports Band 4 for LTE, I assume it should work fine. Has anyone had experience with that network using a Xiaomi phone?

Is there anything I'm doing wrong, or not taking into acount? I'm just looking for any correction or reassurance before making the purchase. Thanks.

My Sony Xperia Z3 compact was pretty good but the camera had a black blob malfunction and the screen cracked and broke on me today.

Im in the US, have ATT and generally prefer smaller phones. (as I had the compact.) $100-200 dollars budget.

Guys, I am between a S7 Flat and HTC 10.
I am currently living in Brazil so importing an HTC 10 would cost more (821 USD) than buying a S7 flat (644 USD). Also, Samsung is giving away a Gear VR for anyone that buys either a S7 flat or edge until 31/11.

I was using an ancient RAZR with little issue until it up and stopped functioning completely last week - I am not opposed to having a phone that's a few gens old.

I am considering buying this Note II off of a friend but it's still carrier-locked (although paid off, so I am sure it could be unlocked with a simple phone call to the old carrier.)

My friend is asking like $120 for it. I've played around with it a bit and so far, I just hate the TouchWiz interface but assume that can be replaced.

Am I better off just saving up some more cash and getting something else? I was thinking of a Moto G 3rd gen.

50% of the US market uses Cdma carriers. Samsung uses Snapdragon for US because Qualcomm has a modem patent for CDMA and Exynos doesnt have those modems. You would think they could pay to implement it on their own soc or do their own but I guess its a real pain to do that work for outdated tech.

Just got a near mint OnePlus One for $60 with everything including the original box/accessories/cable/charger/etc and a bamboo back as well (along with the factory Sandstone cover too).

Might just have to load that up at some point and try it out but so far running jgcaap's CM13 + some awesome tweaks and getting outstanding performance so I'm good for the moment.

Say I have two apps (X and Y) for which I have 2 accounts (a total of 4 accounts).

I want to unlock it to use with a different network, but not sure how to go about it. It actually comes with a Tmobile unlocking app, but it says "Device is not eligible for unlock, etc..."
