I use Transmission on Linux and it has always had this annoying bug where it downloads files with priority set to "off".
Disabled files never go over 1% of progress, but Transmission still randomly creates .part files of full size.
All this has a fun side effect where after some time (and after me deleting disabled files) it says that the finished torrent isn't actually finished, but at about 98.8%. So I unpause it, it finishes the torrent again, randomly creates disabled files, I delete them, and after a few hours the cycle repeats.
(currently one of my torrents has 104% received data after three of these cycles)

What do?
Deleting and adding the torrent again doesn't help.
I don't want to switch to aria2 or rtorrent, because I'm pretty comfy with Transmission.

How can I speed this up? I hardly ever get people downloading from me and when they do its at like 8kb/s. Is that speed normal? Its maddeningly slow.

I have tried some common tips, like downloading torrents with tons of peers and downloading 1 episode of a TV batch and just seeding that but its still so damn slow.

Hopefully I'm just an idiot thats misssing something, if not its near impossible for me to keep even a rario of 1
