I'm the Rapoo V500 RGB anon

Had this keyboard for a few hours now so here's my first impressions:

>Pros
Great build quality
Sturdy feet on the bottom
Solid usb braided cable
Full NKRO
Design is almost like a cross between the old thick transparent plastic Mac keyboards and the newer aluminium designs.
Full backlight support with a range of different colour modes and software to help program macros etc.

I'm in the UK so the layout is US but that doesn't bother me too much.

I feel like after continued use these white keys are going to get dirty. Might have to buy some black keys a few years down the line.

There are no Scroll Lock or Caps Lock indicator lights, But there is a ring around the keyboard which lights up (pic related). It turns green for Scroll Lock and Red for Caps Lock or Yellow for both.

Overall solid board. Nice aluminium top, and the knock-off brown/tea switches feel much nicer for typing than my Cherry MX blacks I always end up hitting a wrong key on those.

Cost me £53 roughly.

After installing MIUI Marshmallow and updating my APN settings, the 4G coverage is more than I could have ever hoped for. I live in Texas and travel to some pretty remote areas and almost always have HSPA+ and I have LTE anywhere near a city.
These results are from the T-Mobile network however a friend of mine has gotten similar and even better speeds with his RN3P on AT&T. For anyone on the fence about buying a Xiaomi device for the US, I highly suggest the RN3P.

Today, my Ulefone Paris, finally died.

Had to pay 25 eurobucks to get him into Waffleland. I bought this solely because of the decent specs, pretty low price point, and the hilarious gearbest "trailer" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBdw9Hf-2M0) however, i got a free meme-bonus: the ulefone Paris was released around the Paris attacks. After three months, the volume rocker started being less and less responsive. That sucked. Everything went okay for a while, installed a custom debloated rom and did some little tweaks here and there. Now, about a year later, I can literally see the battery going down with 1 percent every 5 seconds and today it wouldn't charge anymore. I could replace the battery, but I feel like upgrading to a real meme (a xiaomi phone)

I got a pair of superlux HD 662 evos a week or two ago. Have them plugged into my receiver that I connect to my pc via optical.

They're really light, and feel kinda cheap, the cups are a hair smaller than preferred, bit too shallow, and the replacement pads don't have enough padding in them.

After a few modifications they sounded okay, but we're generally underwhelming and almost just chocked it up to Chink shit. But after some time of use, and remembering I can adjust the bass and treble on my receiver I got them to an acceptable point. Then one day out of the blue the fucking thing started blasting bass like there was no tomorrow, dense puffs of air violated my ears, and it was quite unpleasant. Readjusted bass to counteract this, then after a day or two the audio just came to life and they sound amazing.

Tl:Dr I guess they have a break in period I was not aware of.

But it's entirely possible that there was too much adhesive for the speaker cones, and had to be loosened up.

All I can tell you is over a period of a couple days starting from when the bass got way too hard there was a significant transformation in how they sound.

Got my first [xiaomi] powerbank today, the 20000 mAh one. Theoretically, it holds 5 charges of my rn3p, which i only need to charge two days out of three, and i use it a lot. So if i really try to, i only need to charge these two babies once a week. No reason to do this though, but nice to know that i can. Theoretically.

Yesterday i got the DVB-T etc TV reciever you can use as a radio, but with the included antenna all i could do was listen to regular FM broadcasts and look at weird patterns.
