We have a system for dealing with this via archivers.
Get in irc and ask an archiver to snatch your torrents as you upload them. They won't care that it takes a long time because they aren't actually going to watch it, and once it's done they can supply their bandwidth for seeding it so the next person doesn't have to wait ages.

you exchange the BP for raw upload data.
other trackers don't have BP (what.cd) and it can be hard to seed if your connection is slow (seedboxes will take priority a lot of the time and max out the leechers connection)
generally, you'll want to download a lot of the freeleech stuff when starting off and just leave that seeding indefinitely. you'll likely not survive in a place like wcd only seeding the obscure stuff you like.

Also they changed it to freeload but some people were still leeching with zero seeders so I crossseeded audiobooks and ended up with 40 gigs of additional buffer.

If you upload textbooks upload is pretty easy off eblib or ebl. Each photo book/textbook I uploaded was about 300 mb. I had like 9 gigs before the freeleech.
