Not just the looks, it feels about as good as an original controller. Just a little thicker and heavier because of the battery.
It also has upgradable firmware and works with a lot of different hardware - some months ago they added a mode for Wii U Pro controller emulation, which is nice if you're one of the 3 people on the planet that own a Wii U like me.
That said, yeah, it's a bit pricey and obviously not the best choice for everyone's purposes. I'm really satisfied with mine though.

I'm in the EU too. If you get DHL 3 day shipping you always get done for customs. In Ireland its any electronic over 50 euro I believe and its 23% of the price.

DHL express is a slower shipping method of 7-10 days with much better odds of not being done for customs. Also usually 3 dollars on geekbuying.

This might be a stretch, but has anyone bought any replacement belts or pulleys, or know what I can expect of them?

I recently acquired a pretty fancy looking cassette player from the 70's for the low price of free, but as can be expected of any cassette deck this age, the rubber belts have turned into a gooey mess. There are belts that are on eBay that are specifically labeled as for the machine, but it's $30 for one set, while on aliexpress I can get a mixed pack of 30 for $3.

The end game would be to use webscraping or some sort of api to got to aliexpress, gearbest, ebay, etc. and scrape the order list and tracking numbers and correlate the items description, link, etc. to a tracking number.

I wrote a program to automate checking tracking using 17track and some other couriers, maintain a database (well just a json file) of the orders and stuff, but I stopped using it because entering tracking numbers and meaningful descriptions was a pain in the ass.

Thus I just don't track anything and periodically check my order list for something that hasn't arrived yet.

The hardest one is aliexpress since they have no api and do some weird stuff that makes doing the right curl request difficult. Best solution I have come up with is to use phantom.js to scrap the order list. Been too busy to bother figuring it out.

Other thing is a chrome plugin that easily copies tracking numbers and information into your paste buffer.

The aliexpress android app might be good source to sniff.

Ebay one can at least grep emails for tracking numbers. I mostly order from Aliexpress however so it's pointless.

I had even almost got to the point of after 17track indiciated it hit my country I would switch to querying my local post office's website or api and get fine grain tracking. (17track only shows up to your country - tracking inside the country you gotta switch to your country post)
