I have a normal Z3 myself I got two weeks ago and I really like it. But check if everything is working well on the phone, including things such as GPS (use the GPS Test app to see if you can get a fix) and whatnot because mine was kinda borked since I got it used. LG G3 is slightly cheaper than nexus 5X and about the same price as Moto G4. It comes with a replaceable battery and SD card slot that the Moto G4 and X5 lacks. The downside being a 1440p resoluton draining battery and performance

don't get lg g3, it's a piece of shit. i had got it replaced with an iphone 5 last summer and it is still better than lg g3. its stock roms/modded roms suck, when you throw a custom rom on it then things break. you'll have to use shitty camera apps that don't support lg camera drivers etc. battery wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either. performance gets laggier with use, i don't know how it's doing right now.
i'd get the nexus 5x or samsung s6. i don't know how much the latter costs in your country though.

Anyone got any experience on ideas on how to fix a Samsung Galaxy S5 boot loop that won't even go into recovery mode?
All I can access is the download mode and I've tried flashing the stock ROM both with Odin and Kies3, but it's still not working. Only fixes I've been able to find either require another S5 or praying to God and just waiting and it might work after a while.

My phone is an Alcatel C5 running an unofficial CM12.1 rom, it had jellybean but I updated to kitkat via custom kernel and slapped CM on it, this happened recently by the way, I've been using it for 2 years with no problems whatsoever and even with the screen bug it still works fine, but my autism flares up whenever I see it, I've tried reinstalling the rom, using a different one, wiping the system, cache and data completely instead of just the three system cache/cache/dalvik wipes, nuking the phone completely and starting from the kitkat build (you can't restore it completely or It'll shit the bed) but nothing works, I've never dropped it or installed any themes/icon packs if you're wondering, and I can't just buy another phone because this poorfag just wasted all his savings on the newest gtx, a real casing for my PC, a bluray drive for it, a 4k samsung LED TV (never had one until now and it came with a 10 meters long "gold" plated hdmi , i know its a meme but I want a psquadrupple and with a cable this long I can hide it pretty well), and a new, fancy fridge to replace the one I got from dad (the thing is 2 years older than I and I'm 23), this phone cost me a whole 30 dollars brand new, spending 600+ bucks on something that I'll only use for reading mango on dead nights, masturbating to loli on my lunchbreak and the occasional call from my parents seems like a massive waste of money, I don't even have a google account or any apps installed besides those four, even the cheapest decent one is 150 dollars minimum.

If it doesn't work after PIT, I think only motherboard replacement will be helpful. There is JTAG exists, but I'm not sure anybody would be able to provide such service, search for it. Sadly I forgot 90% of shit about recovering, back in the day we managed to trick Galaxy S into loading from microSD while internal memory (EMMC) was dead. Your may be corrupted as well.

I may advise you to flash any kernel with ODIN before you flash the firmware, if I'm right, in Samsung, recovery menu is built in the kernel itself.

With hindsight, I'd think that's clear, considering how it would act up before it started boot looping constantly. First apps freezing and slowing down ridiculously, requiring a reboot to function properly. Being unable to play videos without lag, then going into bootloops that would fix itself after a while or after removing the battery. Until finally just getting completely stuck as it is.
Happened over a few days and couldn't have done shit if I wanted since I was at my summer cabin.

Got a corporate email saying they want to auction off some old phones, iPhone 5S, 5C, Galaxy S3/4s, and Note 2 and 3s currently going off for like $20-50 bucks. Are these any good as backup or travel phones? Some are pretty worn out but others look new.

the way this samsung looks makes my pee pee go stiff but the more i look into it the more i head bad things about it. no unlocked bootloader, reportedly bad audio quality through headphones and speakers, bad ram management and laggy touch screen on some?.. (can only get the exynos one)
i hate how shitty/dull htc 10 looks but it seems to be a better android phone. screen is lcd too. ;_;
