I once accidentally cheated my ratio on some tracker (I will not mension which one, but It's a good tracker)

All i did was this: I have a spare laptop that I use solely for downloading. It has a large HDD, so I download stuff to it, and use qbittorrent's WebUI to add torrents,
When I want to get stuff from it, I usually use something like rsync or ftp, or I use this method:
1. I download the same torrent, or copy the magnet link, without the tracker
2. I add the torrent to my main PC, while seeding it on the other
3. I manually add a peer then input the local IP address of the laptop and the port used for the client
4. I download it locally from the laptop.

With some trackers, I immediately get a 1:1 ratio on the torrent that I transfer to my PC. The tracker thinks that I uploaded it to someone on their tracker, but I never did. I never got caught doing this.
It's better than mratio or other programs that might get you caught.
