Why does Verizon hate unlocked bootloaders? I brought my exynos version of the s7 edge in to set up a line because they said I could but when I got there the manager said they couldn't set me up cause it was unlocked and it would put me at risk. I need some help solving issues with an iPhone 6
Got a second-one for close to nothing (no, it's not locked and my name is not tyrone), the seller told me about battery life problems but as i was going to replace the battery anyway i thought it wouldn't be a huge issue.

So i replaced the battery with one from ifixit to avoid getting throatfucked by chink exploding batteries and the battery life is still terrible, as i'm getting fucking 8-10 hours of STANDBY time. Surprisingly, the screen on time doesn't seem to have much impact since despite 8 hours of battery life 4 of those can be with screen on. On the other hand, it won't get more than 8 hours even with <20 minutes of screen on)

Already tried a different battery, restoring it from scratch, turning all retarded synchronization and cloud services off but nothing helped.

Can't even bring it to an apple service because i live in a third world country and the closest one is literally 200km away, and the phone has been opened up by me anyway so they probably would refuse to diagnose it anyway.


Any ideas? Should i just sell it with profit, go back to a Nexus 4 which i've had since release and not bother anymore?

I've actually been using a galaxy s4 since it came out. I bought a galaxy s6 for $120 on cyber monday last year but didnt like it, so I sold it on craigslist for like $400 and bought a camera lens instead.

I just check twitter and receive emails on my phone, didnt like the stand by time of the s6 and att put this stupid update where you cant remove the camera quick launch on the lock screen so whenever I had the phone in my hand and pressed lock to turn on the screen, it launched the camera.

Your phone will format all memory cards in fat32 whether they are 64 or even 128GB. Basically you can use up to 2TB memory cards as long as you format them in fat32 (see moto e using 128GB memory cards).

Some really old Android phones will refuse to format SDXC cards in fat32 but you can still use your desktop/laptop to format those cards in fat32.

I've had this sudden screen freezing problem for a month now. I had this old 4.2 rom called pacman for many years with no major problems, until last month it would freeze and not react to any input (menu and back light did light up when i touched them, and music/audio from video would still continue playing). I installed a new clean 6.0 based rom (resurrection remix), and the phone felt like completely new and very responsive, but the freezing issue would still persist.

I just got my last freeze which rendered the phone into bootloop, wipe and reinstalling the rom fixed it for now. This can't be software related anymore? Should I just retire this one and get a new one, or is there anything I can do to fix this constant freezing?

So far, they did their own hardware, and it mostly was absolutely top class! I have the LG G3 and it does not seem to be out of date or giving me issues. I recently got a new battery when I noticed after a couple of years of having it that the battery life was decreasing. Because I was lazy, the battery actually became swollen. Thankfully when I put a new battery in there was no damage and my phone has been working fine.

The reason I asked for a chink phone was budget (probably don't want to go over $250). But are G3s still being sold at a decent price?

I just like removable batteries, we've both had extremely long lived phones due to it and it saves money.

The phone is essentially a slightly upgraded alcatel idol 4, but with BB software behind it. I do like that BB is quite adamant on getting security updates out the door extremely fast, especially when the likes of HTC call the updates "unrealistic".

I think we're past the lag-droid experience, and as android keeps maturing, things perform better. Fuck, even my S3 runs quite well. But, as specs increase naturally, apps become more and more bloated, and releasing absolutely shit apps (like pokemon go) becomes acceptable.

For features I hope for a MicroSD card slot and a good battery life.
