I feel you, dawg... HDB was the last tracker I joined and the hardest one for sure. If you cannot wait and cannot try the BiB route then use KG, CG and other specialized trackers to upload obscure content. There's no point in trying to beat other people for scene releases unless you have a nice automated script and a really fast seedbox... might as well grab a bunch of DVDs and encode them yourself with handbrake or something. The only other way to get on HDB (not official) would be to show that you have really amazing encoding skills or have access to a lot of web-dl or hdtv caps... I know few people who have been recruited unofficially from PTP and AHD because they showed good encoding skills.

As I said, 2-4tb, and proof of long term seeding and active (daily) participation, even if it's just to download a film or two that you're responsible for. Beyond that, you need to have a prior knowledge of usenet; though, and I can't say this without a circumstantial bias, I got the vague perception that it was just to weed out the users who didn't have much storage to offer up and were't worth the effort to hand hold. I had never used Usenet but I understand its mechanics and learned AHD's fairly quickly.

However, this is all moot cause the recruitment is over.

I'm not seeding very much yet because I just got accepted less than a month ago.

Getting back to HDB, aside from encoders and dick suckers, they're interested in long term seeders, namely those who can seed tens of tbs and it was obvious in my pm that was the case.

I'm not a huge movie cuck but I essential my got my set up for free, with the expection of a high electricity bills
