There isn't a good alternative with same performance for a similar price as far as i know.
The RN3P still has LTE bands for 1800 and 2600 mhz, if you live in a highly populated area this might be sufficient, i advice you to check compatibility in your area.
Otherwise you should reconsider whether you need LTE or not. I currently use a sim from Klarmobil and have 7 mbit over H+, maybe it's enough for you, for me it is.

How do millenials type on their phone so fast and accurately? My younger sister seems to be able to type a full paragraph in a few seconds. While I am slowly and carefully trying to reply.

I can type at 75 WPM with 100% accuracy and as high as 100 with less accuracy on a real keyboard. But touchscreens are hard to type on.

No, you just need practice. The key is touching the keys on you phone without looking at them (ie touch typing). Time spent looking at what keys to touch is time wasted. Granted, touch typing on a small ~5" phone keyboard with only your thumbs isn't easy and will take time to master but worth it in the end. I can already type at 60 WMP on my 5.5" phone by touch typing.

Finally one main thing to never do is use gesture/swype typing or text correction, this will actually increase the number of errors and make you lose focus more easily.

So I've had my Zenfone 2 for little over a year now and all things considered I'm rather happy with my purchase, it's never really had any problems like crashes or freezing up, the battery always held up until I got home to charge it with time to spare, etc etc. Anyone else here got a Zenfone? I'm completely happy with my Idol 3. It's my first smartphone and I don't regret a cent of it. When it came down to it, it was either this or the Oneplus One, which I'm kind of glad I didn't go with now.
