I was deactivated on PTP and BTN because my mom had uterine carcinosarcoma and I barely touched my computer other than to do homework and projects, spending most of my time helping her. Yes, there is an optimal number but queuing is mostly pointless unless you are constantly downloading new torrents and want to make sure they keep them going even most of them stall or take too long to download. People who don't do that should not using queuing at all and just download torrents one by one.

Only shoot for power user so you can have access to the invite section. The rest of the classes have no benefits.

Sort by seeders, download season packs with only 1 seeder. The bigger, the better. You also need to upload episodes if you want snatches because every time somebody downloads your upload, that's a snatch and you need them to go to PU. If you want to get into higher level trackers like HDB you need to get to Master for BTN but you can also join HDB from PTP TM and BIB Elite.

You should get PU minimum on all your trackers. Only go higher if you want to join HDB or the epeen trackers. HDB is not needed if you have BTN + PTP but many of us consider it a good backup when PTP + BTN go down and yet another place to get invites.

Oh and don't bother with the epeen trackers unless you have a serious mental illness. After HDB there's nothing worth joining.

The key here is to plan for the future. If PTP were to close down, you would need to get the invite to their replacement, and as a member of BTN, HDB, WCD, etc you are pretty much guaranteed a place in PTP's replacement while still getting your HD movies from HDB, and that is why you want to get PU minimum on all trackers.
