What I don't understand is how they have a fanless i5 model but not i7. ULV i7s are basically just slightly OC'ed i5's. It's not like they are quad core or anything.

If the M3 came with an 8GB version I would buy it. They don't understand that the appeal of the M processor is you can run with battery life all day. Makes sense for that style of computer. Why do they price the M model as if it's the lowest tier, both storage and ram wise. Ultra books can have M processors with nice ram and ssd space because they're not low end, they're a different purpose

1.) Apple could save the day and make iMessage available outside the Apple ecosystem they built (which is something they won't do. And why should they? iMessage is one of the biggest reasons to buy an iPhone/MacBook.)
2.) Google could save the day and build an app that fulfills every need (e.g. true SMS fallback,a desktop client or website, true conversation synchronization (not just a Drive backup), ease of use (no email addresses or Google+), and video calling.)
3.) The entire world could collectively decide upon a third-party app, which seems like it already happened with WhatsApp, except WhatsApp sucks and people are idiots for making it a standard.
4.) Everybody just give up. Say, "Fuck it," and just call each other. It doesn't use the internet, it's reliable and there are no compatibility issues. Even those shitty $15 tracfones can take/make calls.

Many jobs will check your credit history, not limited to a data center gig.

Most employers will check your credit history if they bother with a background check. They do have to disclose that they are doing so to you and you consent.

Is there any reason you'd be concerned about a credit check? Having no credit isn't a problem. They want to make sure you're not massively in debt so someone doesn't offer $10K to have you let them in to do nefarious shit.
