Not this. Weight should be on mid foot like in snatch and clean and jerk. Going on toes is perfectly ok to get extra strength (Push press is supposed to mimic the jerk, only difference is instead of splitting and dropping you simply keep pushing)

However you jerk. If you dip short and quick do that, if the opposite do that. You want to dip low enough in general that the outter quad is used, not just the 'tear drop' whilst keeping butt back. (think vertical bar path)

My right calf hurts after back squats, what could be the cause? It feels like it's muscular, it's pretty sharp, it's distributed pretty much evenly across the further right muscle. Had a good one but I'm still a dyel.
Light squat cleans (like 80% of max C+J but almost half of max clean), went up to only like 45kg. Way too easy but just reinforcing technique is good.

Did split jerks from a rack and went up to 40kg for 3x2.

Then clean pulls, went to 55kg (again, very light, but it's based off max C+J, so w/e, I did go a bit heavier than coach wrote for me to do).

Then to end it I did front squats, did 3x2, starting at 60 and went up to 65, did 3 reps on my last set cuz I could. Still pretty light too. I rather go light and get in some good volume and feel good than bust my ass, grind, and ruin the rest of my workout by pushing max weights. I find keeping it lighter is usually better for not only technoque but progress to. Obviously I'm not gonna lift babyweights eternally, but I'll max out and go heavier on one of my good days when I can handle it and not feel like shit after cuz i went higher than I could handle.

I had squatted 185kg and deadlifted 227kg before I started weightlifting and it took 2 months before my coach let me use over 40kg on snatch or 60kg on cleans, and he was right to do so - the technique matters so much. I probably could have done with more time just focused on tech desu.

I think you're not really sure how the last work during the pull of a clean or snatch. It's not comparable to a deadlift at all.

In say the clean, some lifters pull the bar in and stay over, the bar is held close by the lats. For some people, doing this makes the arms look like they're bent, because they're not just hanging loose directly under you like a deadlift.

some people who train solely highbar when doimg lowbar can do the same weight (or even less) with lowbar, although they may be able to be a bit more if they let themselves get accustomed.

Ive also heard of strong powerlifters doing lowbar to parallel having to go all the way down to almost 50% of their max lowbar
