In season 1 I was, but then season 2 had so little Toffee that my opinion kind of shifted and now I'm definitely behind Star. Want to see her reach her ultimate potential and fight him for real in the end.

This is the thing that's giving me most doubt about drawing the comic.
I'm afraid that it's just a passing fancy and most people if not all of them are going to eventually think MonStar is after all a bad/boring/unnecessary AU.
I figure that if there's a comic to keep everyone interested, it might grow into it's own cozy AU fandom. But there might not even be a big enough Star Vs. fandom for that to work out well.

Both, just different situations and him recognizing and utilizing the demeanor that fits better for whatever (don't need to give away too much when all you're trying to do right now is gain Ludo's trust).
