Welcome back Anons! It's been a long three weeks, but it's finally time to finish Bendis's Daredevil.
Damn, that's a REALLY long Sai.
Your buddy is back...if this IS the real PM-IFanon
>>90151567
He's in a federal prison, isn't he? Why does he need a wire, can't they just record normally?
>>90152596
I say this as someone who has been posting comics on an image board for months.
That guy needs a god damn hobby.
>>90152643
Yep. Have you been copy-pasting the old threads from the last one's OP, or can you see back into the archive for more than three days?
>>90152663
If you use desu (or 4chanX), you can follow those links all the way back to Luke Cage #1.
If you don't, it only goes back to one week, I'm afraid.
>>90152643
>Bendis?
>The Writer?
And THIS is why, when you commit crimes, you keep your windows closed. Yes, you may need the air, but what you REALLY don't need is a superhero ripping you out from the window.
>>90152560
I know this isn't exactly kosher on 4chins but get a trip so whackjobs like >>90151567 don't give others a minor inconvience
>>90152715
Yeah, it's odd that the viewable archive only goes back to the last three days now despite it clearly archiving the last two weeks on 4chan
Back to DD talk, did you read Elektra today?
I know he's supposed to look intimidating in the fourth panel, what with the gritted teeth and the shadows and crap, but all I'm thinking is "How did he get in that position?"
>>90152768
If that dipshit keeps up, I may have to look into it.
Uh oh, Marvel civilians are on the hero's side for once. This can only go down from here.
>>90152803
>Back to DD talk, did you read Elektra today?
Sadly, I haven't read anything today, save a few things that were storytimed. What was good?
So Fisk was just reading Urich's book on Stormin' Norman? I wonder if he ever made a sequel, what with the whole "Goblin Cult" thing.
>>90152919
>Oh right, yeah, I paid to have you killed.
>Good times, good times.
So am I nuts, or does Fisk look like he's getting off to the gunfire?
>>90152996
Well he's not dead after all these years, so it's probably just water under the bridge as far as Fisk is concerned.
If an assassin doesn't kill their target after you pay them, does that mean you get a refund?
>>90152919
It seemed like a good start, but the art is pretty odd (nice looking). I honestly can't tell if it is supposed to be regular Elektra or someone using the name, because she looks like a Scandinavian goddess
>>90149066
(There's also a short-haired-purple-dyed presumed lesbian in it)
>>90153009
That is the face of a man writing Luke Cage assfucking his alcoholic female self insert alright.
Who the hell are "the Italians" that puts them in the same league as The Hand?
See? He even sort of feels bad for the whole "Time I paid for you to get stabbed" thing.
>>90153067
And to think people thought I was bullshitting when I said he'd start to look like Bendis later on.
>>90153076
The Maggia?
They used to be plenty important in Marvel.
>"Did you see this, Matt?"
>"Foggy, how long have you known me?"
Are Blind Daredevil jokes ever NOT funny?
>>90153052
Huh, and someone's linking these threads in that thread. Hopefully they get the right one.
I guess Marvel noticed the nipples this time.
>>90153186
That person linked both. Are you stopping at the end of Bendis Daredevil, or continuing to Brubaker?
>>90153142
Oh, I know who the Maggia are. Silvermane, Nefaria, ect, but that's name. They aren't just "The Italians". Hell, it sounds like an actual name, so I don't get why Bendis wouldn't just use that, if that's who he meant.
To quote Foggy, "Are you fucking kidding me?"
Speaking of Elektra, looks like she's in this issue.
>>90153156
Beautiful
>>90153316
https://youtu.be/3YxaaGgTQYM
>>90153219
Last panel Milla is clearly a Angelina Jolie rip.
Just how bad IS Bendis' Angelina Jolie fetish that he creares 3 different waifus with her face, and adopts such a diverse subsection of children?
Oh yeah, remember that chart from the beginning of the run? Now we can see the whole thing.
>>90153226
I'm probably stopping with Bendis Daredevil. It's been requested enough in these threads, so if someone wants it storytimed, they can post it themselves. More storytime threads we have, the less shitposting threads we have to deal with, after all.
>>90153240
Thanks for the bump, Anon.
Wow, guy's got an even bigger bug up his ass about superheroes than JJ. At least JJ would admit that the criminals are at least as bad as Spider-Man.
>>90153414
You Welcome IFAnon.
>>90153355
Did we really go almost an entire Daredevil run without anyone making an Evanescence joke? Shit, I expected more, ESPECIALLY when Movie-Bullseye showed up.
>>90153358
One of these days, someone is going to draw Kitty Pryde somehow looking like Jolie.
Hopefully Bendis will have a heart attack, so someone else can write Luke Cage.
I know it would interrupt the flow of the story, but I kind of want to see how he responded to her.
"If I say yes, will kill me?"
>>90153489
I kinda miss early 2000 superheroes movies Soundtrack.
>Director Maria Hill
So at this point, we're past Secret War, to give you an idea on timeline.
Given Spencer has been writing Maria Hill as cocky and sarcastic recently, that entire first panel just seems entirely insincere. Hell, even if he didn't write her, it doesn't sound like Maria Hill.
Does anyone outside of shitposters ever actually use "goy"?
>>90153575
had they actually never met before, or was Bendis Bendising? I hate that I have to question almost every interaction because of him
>>90153641
Honestly, Hill was new enough that she may not have met her one-on-one yet.
>>90153604
So, standard SHIELD agent uniforms for women include deep plunging cleavage then...
So yeah, that happened.
>>90153687
She's clearly not wearing a standard uniform, what with those shoulder gaps.
Remember Anons, because I think Bendis forgot. She knew he was Daredevil from the start, because that story was out there.
Matt, you're blind. Why would you need to turn your head?
Man, imagine being introduced to your ex's wife by seeing them JUST about to screw.
Bullseye never actually dresses like the movie costume after that one arc.
>>90153829
That is something that I noticed in season 2 of the show. They seemed to give up entirely on "Matt not looking directly at people"
>>90153886
Huh, I'll have to rewatch, because I didn't notice that myself.
Look, I know he's fat, but he doesn't need an entire truck's space.
Okay, based on the what little the shadows aren't covering, Matt's completely naked right now.
Elektra, this whole thing could've been avoided if you just spoke to him from outside the window.
Hey, wait a second, how did she get inside? She's just on the other side between panels!
See Bendis, you're learning. You don't have to say EVERYTHING the news is saying, just make clear they're talking about what we, the viewer, have already seen.
Wait, did Matt bring the costume with him? How did he get into it so quickly?
And now you have the source of this arc's title.
Huh, I wouldn't have pegged the Kingpin for a Tom Clancy fan.
Because there's literally no other news stories happening in New York City right now.
Danny, what the fuck are you wearing?
>"He digitally recorded every conversation you ever had in his office once he found out who you really were."
Why would he do that one in particular? Does he not remember what happened to Nixon?
I wouldn't have guessed Black Widow for the jealous type.
>Elektra running the Hand
So, unless I'm mistaken, which is easily posible, this is the Skrull Elektra.
>>90154262
Thanks for the bump, Anon.
>>90154283
Damn
>>90154318
great composition on bottom left
-_-
>>90154340
This.
Oh god, please tell me the Owl fucks up Fisk's entire plan out of pure spite.
Elektra, why in god's name are you posing like that? I mean, at least Widow's pose looks like she's standing. What's with the crouching?
>"She's the New White Tiger."
>"What happened to the old one?"
>"Shot on a courtyard steps, turned back into a tiger, or just fell into obscurity, depends on which one you mean."
This isn't even a damn joke, and I still chuckled at that last panel. I think something's wrong with me.
>>90154345
>"Fuck composition, I'm getting this ass in the panel somehow!"
Okay, you know when I said he never appears in this outfit again? Yeah, I forgot he was in this arc. By bad, it's been a while.
Wait, they're on top of a building, how did he even get that bike up there?!
So how often have these two actually fought since Miller?
I know his deal is "being able to kill someone with ANYTHING", but this has got to be the first time Bullseye has used a coffee container as a weapon.
>broke her arm
She fell back first onto that, Matt, how did you break her "arm"?
Wait, doesn't Elektra usually have two Sai? Where's the other one?
Ouch, that looked like it HURT.
That, on the other hand, looks like a Loony Toons bit.
>>90154649
...Where does she pull the sai's from? She has one in her hand, and Bullseye has the other
Matt, that's brown, I don't think that's blood.
>"You killed a woman up there, you sociopath."
>"Boo-hoo."
Seriously Matt, how did you EXPECT him to react?
Oh, THERE'S her other sai!
>>90154701
Let's put it this way
>>90154701
The art is so bizarre here, I have trouble noticing shit, like when Bullseye actually grabbed the Sai, or when Elektra went inside the hotel room earlier.
Going from Master of Kung Fu to this isn't a good idea, I'll tell you that for free.
Are they just now allowed to make blood red?
Seriously, he isn't even threatening now. This is the second time he's hit a truck this issue.
Keep this page in mind for later, Anons.
Okay, what is with that first panel?
>>90154928
I see a flat beaver in his blood splatter in the third panel
Oh hey, it's that asshole Paladin.
No wonder I forgot Bullseye was in this arc. He only was in the one issue.
Well... shit, that's a surprisingly good plan.
And now you know why he kept Ben along this whole time.
>>90154977
It kind of looks like a Dragon head to me, now that you mention it.
I guess the news didn't get the Elektra and Daredevil were on the same side, for some reason.
>>90155084
For as much shit we have given him, Bendis came up with a pretty good plan for the finale
Well... shit.
Why would Luke Cage need to go to her? He has a public identity. He could just go to a hospital.
Elektra, did you really drag him all the way there?
Maleev isn't even trying anymore, is he? He's just drawing Bendis now.
Fucking hell Ben, he's taken hits from Spider-Man and stayed standing, and YOUR scrawny ass managed to draw blood?
>>90155134
Oh yeah, this is an almost Xanatos-esque plan for Kingpin, and there's really nothing Ben or Daredevil can do to get out of it.
It's just, you know, everything else.
... Seriously, that looks nothing like any other version of Jessica Jones I've ever seen.
>"Was it a bullet?"
>"Of course it was."
>"Not necessarily. It could've been a laser, it could've been-"
Finally, SOMEONE remembers the wacky shit that happens in the Marvel Universe.
>>90155291
Jesus, is she heavily pregnant or something at this point?
Oh good, this is what we need, a pissing contest.
I don't speak moon, but I recognize the address. I can only assume she's asking the Hand (that she was established to be in charge of, as well as the only major japanaese organization in Daredevil) to get there.
That sound about right?
Oh good, we have these two sniping at eachother again...
>"I knew you were a snake, woman. I KNEW it."
Natasha, you had a gun on her a second ago, don't act innocent.
>>90155409
>Oh good, we have these two sniping at each other again.
"Women, amirite?" - Bendis, probably
To be fair, I somehow doubt the Night Nurse would have any reason to know who the Hand are, so her thinking they're a myth makes sense.
>>90155346
Probably, but that wouldn't explain the swollen face or the entirely different hair style from her own books.
It's not like she's Carol "different hair every issue" Danvers.
And then our boys fight ninjas for a bit.
Man, how amazing would it have been if Elektra dropped down on Ben? Dude would probably have a heart attack right there.
>>90155441
Based on criticisms I've heard of the first Jessica Jones issue, that sounds about right.
Yes, arrest that wounded blind man, not the fucking ninjas.
>"Arrest all of them!"
>"For what?"
>"Aiding and abetting!!"
Unless you're referring to Natasha and Matt, literally all Luke and Danny did since getting here is save your dumb ass from getting shanked by ninjas.
Seriously, why does this guy have such a hard-on for Daredevil? None of this would've happened if he could control his own fucking guys better.
... Okay, top and bottom three are easy to guess, and the one in the middle is probably Mila, but who the hell are the last two? Middle-left is probably Luke Cage, because it's Bendis, but who's that on the middle-right?
Welp, this sucks.
>>90155635
hmm, who is a black haired lady who Bendis seems to love a lot? Jessica Drew
Last issue of the night, Anons!
If you don't remember Delacourt, he was also the prosecutor for the White Tiger case.
God damn it Matt!
>>90155665
That's a woman? Features were so sharp, I genuinely thought that was a guy.
Well, this worked a lot better for Matt than it did when poor Hector tried it.
I guess he learned how to disguise himself better this time.
>>90155732
I imagine that if she had sunglasses on, she would look exactly like her appearance in Jessica Jones
See, THIS bit I actually remember, where Bullseye goes back into the costume.
Oh shit, he Man of Steel'd him!
So is THIS proper French, Anons?
Or this Japanese?
>>90155804
Sad thing is, probably.
Well shit, they didn't wait long.
This is actually a fairly good scene...
... shame it was all apparently in his damn head.
>there's literally a guy yelling "He didn't do nothing"
Literally the only person on this page I recognize aside from Matt and Foggy is Captain America, because of that tie of his!
Oh hey, Bendis finally remembered that the Kingpin's iconic outfit is WHITE, and not the same fucking black outfit he had him wear the entire run.
Uh, who the hell is Jonathan Roche?
I think I love Owl now.
And that's it for Daredevil, Anons! It's been a long few weeks, but we're finally done!
See you next time, for Jeff Parker's Thunderbolts! Hope to see you there!
>>90156100
and now Brubaker wrote a 10//10 story picking up minute after this ended
>>90155868
It isn't, he should be saying "Il y a DU sang", not "Il y a de sang".
>>90156017
Cap
Cap pls
>>90153359
I don't think Bendis understands how these flow charts are meant to work.
Unless the FBI thinks Spider-Man works for whoever the Kingpin is, be it Fisk, or Daredevil (through his consiglieri Fogaltore Nelson)
Or that Nick Fury is apparently a low level member of the New York criminial underground.
>>90153451
JJ isn't getting paid by Wilson Fisk, though.
>>90153575
Those shoulders arelewd
>>90152560
Is it worth starting?
>>90161472
Probably not really, but Bendis awkwardly jammed Cage in there for a bit so it ended up at least important as those go nowhere MCP stories he ran.
>>90154023
They weren't going to have a threesome if she didn't come inside. So obviously she opened the window and came in, while Matt just kinda sat there.
>>90154254
That's a good question. How can the FBI not arrest a guy with hundreds of hours worth of audio of himself doing crime?
Also, how did Kingpin manage to digitally record shit back in the 80s, when that wasn't really a thing? (Because as we've established, Bendis doesn't understand sliding timescale)
>>90161472
Read all of it? Fuck no. I would say read this last arc (all in this thread) then continue on with Brubakers run. All Bendis really did was a year flash forward with Matt marrying a blind girl, and everyone in Hells Kitchen knowing he is DD/No maybe they dont because no one has cameras or something. Bendis also killed off one of the first Marvel hispnic heroes unceremoniously and replacdd him with his own OC. This last arc was really good though
>>90154521
As badass as that probably seemed when he thought of it, taking on daredevil, elektra, black widow, and white tiger solo is a pretty stupid idea
>>90154744
I like when heroes call their villains by their name
Just seems silly
HERMAN!!!! I'LL FOLLOW YOU TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH!!
