There are only a handful of episodes I outright refuse to watch and most of them are seasons 20+. Even then it's like 4 or 5 only.

The Tony Hawk episode was rough, carpenter Marge, Lisa pretends to be a Native American and Bart becoming a wigger had a rough start but they weren't shit...they were bad.

Lisa getting a restraining order against Bart is the absolute nadir of "watchable" ...below that is the complete irredeemable shit.

Lady Gaga, Lena Dunham & Elon Musk episodes are unwatchable because it's just one big blow job to the celebrity guests. This episode was most forgettable (basically Marge be Not Proud but not as good or memorable), but Lisa the Skeptic (two episodes before) feels like more of a turning point than Principal and the Pauper, honestly. It feels like the first episode that has that awful, preachy, holier-than-thou, always right Lisa that the later seasons is plagued with. It's a better episode than Principal and the Pauper, but it marks a much worse turning point in the series.

Really? I think Lisa comes off really well in that episode and it's overall pretty funny. Bart's a little out of character, but it ends in a high note, a real one, not a fake happy ending like the Simpsons gene episode, where we find out Bart is doomed to mediocrity even though he's demonstrated unconventional intelligence in the past.
