I mean... At least FBZ was a change of pace after the roller coaster of a finale? It was somber, quiet, restrained. It showed a story of two characters we didn't interact with much up to that point. You know, much like Last one out of Beach City was a good change of pace- it was a solid way to end the show before hiatus on a high note. It was fast, quirky, it subverted the themes and characters, it created new conflicts for the future.

In contrast, Onion Gang is an abomination of an episode and a lesson on how to NOT write. Jesus fucking christ that episode was useless.

So they literally have ONE JOB. And sure, it may not matter much in the long run, but episodes like this really ought to be pointed out, because every single one is actually risk to the story.

Take Friend ship for example, Garnet said that she wouldn't forgive Pearl until she accepted that she is way more than what she thinks she is, how many times have they fused since then? How do you think corruption will be cured?
I like the theory that because corruption was caused by a song, another song could be used to reverse the corruption. Greg has shown his ability to decode a message from the wailing stone using his equipment, he could be the one to create the song.
Picture it, the diamonds return to earth to finally defeat the last of the crystal gems in a second war, just as it looks like the crystal gems are about to be defeated, thousands of uncorrupted gems along with Greg swarm the beach and defeat the diamonds

Mangastudio has line smoothing, I usually use it while zoomed in to make broad slow strokes on my tablet. The tablet I have is small so zooming in increases accuracy.
