I'm calling it now:

The thing that walks out of the ocean is Jasper fusion created out of Jasper's addiction to fusing. She'll force-fuse with a corrupted gem/s and turn into that uncontrollable monster.

She'll be helpless while the corrupted gems run amok, and when the gems poof her she'll realize that fusion isn't as good as she thinks it is if both gems aren't in mutual control. She'll end the episode asking Lapis for forgiveness.

We will then get another "MAKE AMENDS WITH LAPIS" episode where Jasper has to explain that she knows how fucked it is to be in a fusion with someone who isn't willing or when one is more in control than the other.
