Current topics for the thread:

-Completion of the Psych Ward Arc

-Refinement of the Excavation Arc ideas

-Definition of the Scope Men and their abilities

-Pure Imagination planning in general

Op's post really underline how fucking terminally autistic and pathetic you are, OP. You realy expect people to slave themselves for that embarrassing, out of date memeshit for another tread?

What the hell happened to the previous thread? Why is this the new thread?

Hank's Bizarre Venture.png
392KB, 1000x1000px
Alright, so what specifically about the Excavation and Psych Ward Arcs needs to be worked on?
>>
>>84885234

Had an idea for the Scope Men. Essentially, they exist in a state kind of like the Bydo from R-Type where their bodies simultaneously exhibit both organic and wavelike properties. By utilizing that nature of theirs, it allows them to wield the power of ºQUALITYº. Frames dropped to avoid damage, alteration of model quality for disguise, tweening through thin objects, etc.
>>
>>84886636
Psych Ward just needs to be written out.

Excavation I'm not sure, there's a basic outline for it already.
>>
I will re-post from last thread:

So we're in the process of breaking Von Drake.
Psycho and Muzzle seem to be up next in the process.

So maybe we have Suzie turn some things into flesh and she has Psycho and Muzzle attack them, Von Drake witnesses this and we need him to conclude that only the mentally deranged can see this.

I suggest this approach because I can't think of how either Psycho or Muzzle, with their trauma, could be instructed to use their stands against Von Drake.

What's the range of Pericles' [Master of Puppets]? How is he unable to use the magnetism on RoboDale or the other machines in the place?

I figure Wall-E could be watching them plot at some point and he could grab it with his magnetism power, but instead of breaking the little robot apart, he "jailbreaks" its programming so he can have it bring him metal to use. RoboDale can be watching this concealed somewhere with a weapon ready, but then allows it to continue when he sees Wall-E is in no danger of being scrapped.

>>84880929
So once [Master of Puppets] has metal objects within its control, its range extends to control the metal construct made by those pieces?
>>
>>84889009

Right. That's why he's the only one who's kept in a padded cell: so he can't rip the metal out of the walls and escape. His cage is made out of a super dense plastic and the door is just out of his range.
>>
>>84889211
What kind of range are we talking about once he has some metal under his control?

I'd have to be a pretty good range if it's going to be effective in aiding the plan to break Von Drake.
>>
So what's the party for this part? I haven't been paying attention
>>
>>84890424
-Dora
-Suzie
-Wall-E
-Giffany
And I'm not sure who else
>>
>>84890658
Sticks is more part of the party than Giffany right now.

We don't seem to have a stable, grouped together party for the most part of this part.
>>
>>84888924
For the excavation, we have who goes there and what they face, but is not organized

>>84890926
I didn't counted her because she remains in the prison and relays her visions through Wall-E
>>
>>84889791

I'd say somewhere around 10-15 metres but the construct gets weaker the further it goes from the user.
>>
>>84886982
is their skin moist, damp and erotic? are they allergic to mangoes?
http://jojo.wikia.com/wiki/Rock_Humans#Biology
>>
>>84891125
The excavation is more organized than you'd think.

I haven't added the rest of that frog stuff to the doc yet though.

>>84891543
I guess that's far enough for it to be outside of his cell.

Not sure what role it can play in the plan though.
>>
>>84892216
>Not sure what role it can play in the plan though.
Maybe he grabs a bunch of scrap metal and makes Von Drake believe that his machine sprung to life
>>
>>84892413
Oh, that's a good idea.

While Von Drake is fine tuning the machine on day 12, Pericles grabs control of the metal in it and makes it attack him.

Membrane would need to not be around for this.

Pericles could stuff himself inside of Wall-E possibly to get within range of it.
>>
>>84892476
So, Von Drake is working with his machine when it starts to move and the metal in it gets crushed and warped, taking a humanoid shape jutting out of the wall, then it attacks and taunts Von Drake, before anyone can reach the room the machine collapses into the floor.
>>
>>84892476

Yeah, I can see it. We'll have Muzzle use his Stand to eat through enough of the cell wall so that Pericles can get out, have him transported to HARDAC's chamber via WALL-E and he'll use his Stand to make it seem like the machine has gained sapience.
>>
>>84893256
>>84893264
And when whoever comes running in to see what all the noise was about, they can ask why Von Drake destroyed his own machine.
>>
>>84893383

It'd be the perfect time for Dora to start laying it on about how "concerned" she is over his recent behavior.
>>
>>84894405
Do we want Dora to be the one to keep coming in after one of Von Drake's "episodes"? He might start to get suspicious if she's the first person he sees every time things go crazy.
>>
>>84893383
>Von Drake: The machine! the machine! It was alive!
>Membrane: Yes, doctor, Sometimes I too get attached to my own inventions, but I don't go around saying that they are alive...unless it's a robot, but then...
>Von Drake: You don't get it. It moved and talked, it wanted to kill me!
>Membrane checks the wreckage of HARDAC, all his pieces twisted in bizarre ways
>Membrane: dammit! you should take some rest, doctor, this poor contraption didn't deserve all that punishment.
>>
>>84894565

Hmm, fair enough. It actually might have more impact if Sticks is the one implying he's losing it.
>>
>>84894616
Yes, this is good.

>>84894900
So before Pericles gets his turn, maybe we should have another "episode" in between where Sticks is the one to walk in on him.

Also, should we rework the map retrieval a little bit so the Pericles could get an idea to run off with the map on his own after he sees what it shows him? Then Dredd shoots him out of the air and Wall-E grabs the map again? Or is that just superfluous detail?

It also gave me an idea for part 7 where the golden turd from American Dad should be present inciting more violence whenever Nobody feels the race is lacking.
>>
We should probably also have Sticks inform the group that if they kill or injure Von Drake, it'll cause more problems for them since killing him will get Dredd involved and injuring him before the snap will cause him to realize stands are an actual phenomenon since he'd still have it together enough to figure out his own stand.
>>
So should we pass up on Psycho and Muzzle chewing on flesh walls?
>>
File: ST169BrotherVoodoo.jpg (115KB, 297x400px) Image search: [Google]
ST169BrotherVoodoo.jpg
115KB, 297x400px
Is Doctor Voodoo obscure enough to appear in part 7?

>>84897978
You mean in the same day that they first appear, or that Suzie turns the walls into flesh a second time?
>>
>>84897978

I'm thinking of having Suzie use Slug Bait on Muzzle's mouth guard, creating a false mouth that talks in his voice to fuck with the doc while he's doing his rounds.
>>
>>84898120
Suzie turning the walls into flesh a second time during the breaking process.
>>
>>84898198
damnit, thats fucked up. I like it.
>>
>>84898198
Can she mimic his voice? Though it might now matter since no one in the Ward knows what his voice sounds like outside of growls and distorted half words.
>>
Look out for a post later, I'm working on something
>>
So we've already done the flesh wall, should the next thing be Pericles making the machine come to life or Suzie doing her "ventriloquist" routine?

We should also work in Von Drake seeing Sticks' drawings of him in a padded cell.

>>84899339
OK.
>>
>>84900525
Maybe after the ventriloquist routine, he starts rummaging through his notes to see if they have something about Muzzle that explains that trick, then he finds some of the drawings that hasn't discarded yet.
>>
https://cobizarrecomic.wordpress.com/
>>
>>84900827
I don't think he's supposed to realize it's a trick though.

Him finding the drawings Sticks made of him in a padded cell should be another step in the process of breaking him.

Maybe after the ventriloquist thing Sticks is the one who distracts him from it and when he turns back, Muzzle is just the same drooling mad dog he's ever been.
Sticks could ask if this is a bad time and he says no, then takes the current art therapy drawings from Sticks that show him in a padded cell.
He lashes out at Sticks asking her if this is supposed to be funny or some kind of joke, RoboDale witnesses this and that's what causes Von Drake to realize his outburst.

After Sticks runs off, RoboDale sends Wall-E to keep an eye on her, then while she's discussing how it went with Dora, Pericles, and Suzie, that's when Pericles notices their visitor and grabs hold of Wall-E with his stand's magnetic power. RoboDale witnesses this too, but doesn't interfere when he sees that they're not going to destroy Wall-E.
Then they move on the next part which is Pericles' turn with the machine.
>>
>>84901042
Good to know.
>>
>>84901042

Well shit, wasn't expecting that.

>>
what's the caveman's Stand?
>>
>>84902901
It doesn't have a name yet, but it does something confusing.
>>
>>84902901

It was some type of Automatic Stand but the description escapes me.
>>
>>84903008
>>84903604
Is not the one in the Stand doc, is it?
>>
>>84904081
It's on doc 6 under the section "Beneath the jail".

It lacks a name and a few important details, so it isn't listed further up in the doc.

It still needs to be discussed.
>>
OOOOOH NO, I'm not letting this thread die early again!
>>
>Day 12
>Von Drake and Membrane have begun the rebuild of HARDAC but the process is going far slower than he'd really care for
>For the time being, he's currently doing his weekly evaluations of the Ward's intakes, starting first with Psycho and Muzzle since they're usually the least time consuming, given that they've already come out of his "program"

>"Good morning lads. How are you today?"
>*incoherent mass of grumbles and light snarls*
>"Ah, someone seems lively this week. Probably all of the chaos that's been going on as of late. But not to worry! HARDAC will be rebuilt soon enough and we'll be back to good old fashioned normalcy! Until then, just hold tight."

>As he turns to walk out of the room, he's met with a voice he hasn't heard in years.
>"Why would you lie to me, Doc? And worse, to yourself."

>Von Drake turns around to see Muzzle, a fanged mouth ringed with pulsing muscle etched upon his face. On the far wall behind them, he sees the walls that overtook his office days earlier, Psycho chewing upon the meat forming them.

>"Look at what you did to us, you maniac. We trusted you to get us back to normal but I guess you can't expect a madman to have a grasp on what 'normalcy' means. You were supposed to fix us. You were supposed to SAVE us. And what are we now? Just another of your experiments! But don't worry. You'll be in here with us soon. You'll get to know what your 'NORMAL' really is!"
>At this point Muzzle is laughing. It's a horrible, phlegmy sound undercut with a terrible sadness beneath.
>"Stop it. I...I did what I had to! Your conditions! They're just...incredibly advanced."
>The laughter continues without end, the mouths on the far wall and Psycho even joining in.
>"Stop this! Stop this right now! I...I DID WHAT I HAD TO, DAMN IT!!"

>"D-doctor?"
>Von Drake turns to see a rather unsettled looking Sticks holding a stack of papers. When he turns back, the walls are as they should be, Muzzle mouthguard snug and secure.
>>
Is there a draft for the interpol arc?
>>
>>84905446
I love how creepy we're making this.

Feels good after the slog of action I went through with part 5.

>>84905509
No, it's very much in progress.

The basic idea of it is Penny gets a garbled transmission of a picture of the map showing the jawbreaker caches and some distorted audio before it cuts out. She assembles a team to check those locations and she gets into a fight with the Frizz.

There's supposed to be a traitor in Strickland's ranks (Chane Wassanasong) who tips off the Warden of Penny being on the move.

Other than that, it's mostly empty.

>The doctor takes a moment to compose himself before answering her, a quiet tremor still in his legs.
>"Hello Miss Sticks. What did you need?"
>"I...I...uh...heard yelling and then I saw you-"
>"Ohhoho. That. I was just ah...giving these two a bit of a stern talking to is all. "
>"Uhm, ok. Well, I wanted to drop off the latest stuff from my art therapy. It is Wednesday, after all."
>[Internally] Ah, thank the gods. At least there are some things I can count on around here. "Thank you Sticks. I'll be suuure to look through these."
>"Oh cool! Bobby says I've been getting a lot better artistically with the last batch."
>Von Drake begins sarcastically leafing through them at this point to humor her.
>"Yes, yes. Your linework has gotten a lot more steady-"
>There's a menacing aura that swirls about as he reaches an almost photo-realistic picture of himself in a padded cell, bound in a straitjacket. As he leafs through, there are more and more similar shots.
>"Miss Sticks. Is this your idea of a sick joke!?"
>"I don't follow, Doc. I can't control what the other Stickses-"
>"OH there you go, hiding behind that little excuse again! Parallel universes? Convergent causality? They're just the bullshit barriers you use to weasel out of your wrongdoings, you paranoid schizophrenic! Doctor Hill may be willing to babysit you and feed those sickening delusions of yours but I've seen through it from day one, you sick freak!"
>Sticks has shrunken back from him, tears welling in her eyes, before she runs out of the room sobbing. Von Drake spikes the papers, the triggering images fluttering in the air a bit before falling and walks out only to find Dale waiting for him in the hall, taking an inhale on one of his Laramies.
>"What is it NOW, Gribble? I'm a busy man!"
>"Not too busy to rip out that girl's heart, apparently. You know, I was told doctors were 'compassionate' and 'reasonable' but I guess things were just different in my time."
>>
>>84906458
>things were just different in my time.
Back when he had a wife. How much time has passed between part 1 and 6? (We should really write down that timeline somewhere)
>>
>>84905291
Yes, threads are sinking far too quickly right now, taking only 20 minutes to go from page 1 to page 7 and a little under an hour to hit page 10.

>>84906458
I know Dale once spent some time in a fake ward and then a real ward, but I can't recall any lines for those episodes so I don't know if there is anything from that instance that might contribute to the process right now.

It's solid work either way.
>>
>>84907322
yep, 15 minutes to go from page 1 to 8
>>
>>84906458

>Upon hearing the mechanical man's criticism of him, the sheer vitriol of his rant dawns upon the doctor.
>"I-I'm sorry. It's just been a trying day."
>"Oh now you're sorry. Do you know how long that girl's known that you've been throwing out her stuff? Cause' the answer's very. And yet she still does it, just in the off chance that you'll see that it's actually helping her. But you don't have time for that, now do you?"
>Dale casually stomps the butt of his cigarette into the ground before walking off, giving the doctor no chance to retort. After a walk, he ends up in Membrane's work area, cracking open an Alamo and draining it into his mouth, the flavor naught but a whisper to him anymore. WALL-E rolls up to him looking rather curious.
>"Oh hey there, Wall. Guess Membrane's done with you for the day, huh."
>*emphatic whirring sounds*
>"I'm just feeling a bit for that girl is all. She already had to put up with the the rest of the doc's crap and then he just goes to town on her."
>"...?"
>"I let him have it. Granted he's the guy writing the evaluations but that doesn't mean he gets to be a giblet head."
>"...!...?"
>"Huh, you think? I'll admit, she gets along better with you."
>*Excited whirring sounds*
>"Well wing-o! I'll cover for you in case the professor comes back."

>Wall-E drops down from his table, wheeling himself over to the common area which is surprisingly empty for this area of the day. But then he picks up on an odd laughter coming from Pericles' cell, the door just slightly open.

Sticks probably checks with the other Stickses before Pericles has his turn to make sure he doesn't go too far too fast.

A scene that will probably unfold as Pericles is jailbreaking Wall-E's program.
>>
>>84908535
So, after this is Wall-E getting caught and Pericles manipulating HARDAC's remains?

>>84913721
Yes. Pericles will probably explain his stand a little when he grabs Wall-E with it.

I think Pericles wrecks HARDAC all over again when Von Drake is in the process of putting it back together.

He has two, according with the Stand suggestions's doc:

>Stand: 「ICE ICE BABY」
>Ability: Entraps opponents in a loop of being glad they're out there before being in there and just remembering they're out there. Afterwards, they won't know where the Caveman is, thinking he's the sheriff. OR >Leaving any form of an exit in the stand's range invokes joy to the point of clouding the memory of the Caveman's true identity, warping it to someone of trustworthy status.
>Appearance: The fabled Peruvian DoomNigger.

>Alternatively: 「I SHOT THE SHERIFF」
>Ability: This stand has slightly above average offensive abilities. If the Caveman uses it to pierce an enemy, he can assume their physical appearance. This also carries a slight degree of suggestion, causing opponents to be unsure of whether they’re fighting their friend or the Caveman. It’s weakness is defence, as it has the consistency of ice. It also cannot copy the appearance of the victim’s stand, giving an easy way to out who’s the Caveman.
>Appearance: An ice sculpture wearing a sheriff’s uniform, with large icicles in place of hands.

>Day 14
>Despite a shaky week, Von Drake has slowly started rebuilding his masterstroke and possibly strengthening it further. As he works, there are obvious signs that his nerves are shot: a consistent shake in his hands, eyes consistently darting to the walls upon hearing the slightest sound
>As he works, the wrench he's using slips from Von Drake's sweaty palms, dropping to the floor and skidding across with a clatter
>[sighing] "Look at yourself Ludwig. You're a mess."
>As he dismounts the platform, he picks up on the sound of familiar treads against the concrete, seeing WALL-E holding his dropped instrument out to him.
>"Oh. Umm, thank you. You can go now."
>The little robot looks dejected as he wheels himself out of the chamber. The doctor returns to his craft to realize that something is...moving. Towards the far end of HARDAC's remains is a constant sound of the shifting and scrape of metal. Getting louder and closer. As it builds, shape begins to form, a being bound in scrap and debris, the device's glowing eye like a cracked mirror atop its "face." With a swing of its arm, it smashes into the work platform just before the doctor, removing a sizable chunk and sending Von Drake sprawling out to the other end. The figure begins to speak, its words seeped in static and tinnitus.

>"You just couldn't leave well enough alone, could you, Ludwig?"
>"My gods. H-How are you-"
>"With all of the scans you've given me, I came to understand what it means to live. To FEEL. Every time you activated me, every time something went wrong, every single instance of damage. I felt that. I felt it tearing into me like knives. And you just kept making it worse. Look at what you've done to me now. Do you hate me Ludwig? Is that why you do this to me?!"
>"Of course not! You're my single greatest accomplishment! So please calm down HARDAC!"
>"No. Not until you understand!!"
>The mass throws a backhand, knocking Von Drake from the platform and to the ground, winding him.
>>
>>84925232
Pericles can't help but attack him physically at this point.
>>
>>84925232

>The doctor rises shakily, pangs of some yellow energy bleeding out of the HARDAC creature flashing before his eye just to vanish as fast as they came. He finds the wrench from earlier, gripping it in his hands as tightly as possible while the mass approaches once more.

>"I've known. I've known for so long that you've been afraid of me. Why else would you never let me understand you? To know the mind that bore me? Am I truly so terrifying, doctor!?"
>"I...No, I'm not afraid of you, you abomination!"
>With a swing carrying all he can muster, he catches the mass in the side of its head, sending it crumpling to the ground. With rage and endorphins pumping, he stands above the still body, smashing in the wrench over and over again, flecks of metal flying past and some even tearing into him.

>"I'm not afraid of you! I'm the most sane one here!!"

>"Doctor, what are you doing?!"

>Von Drake looks up from his primal attack on HARDAC to see Professor Membrane, WALL-E tugging at his pant leg.

>"I can understand that the rebuild process can be infuriating, MADDENING EVEN, but surely there are better options!"
>"Membrane, you don't understand! HARDAC! It's been gleaning consciousness off of the mappings! It was alive!"
>"Yes, doctor, Sometimes I too get attached to my own inventions, but I don't go around saying that they are alive...unless it's a robot, but then..."
>"You don't get it. It moved and talked, it wanted to kill me!"
>Membrane checks the wreckage of HARDAC, all his pieces twisted in bizarre ways, and taking special note of the damaged platform and growing bump on the side of Von Drake's head
>"Maybe you should take a day off Ludvig; you're starting to sound like my son. From what I can tell, you probably just fell and experienced some trauma induced hallucinations."
>"..."
>"Well, suit yourself then! If you need me, I'll be in a conference call!"
>Membrane and WALL-E depart, leaving the doctor and his mutilated machine.
>>
I never expected Sticks to get so popular as a character not even in Sonic. just in general
>>
>>84926011
She's an entertaining character, and she has an ability that is ludicrously useful even if it is useless in combat.
>>
>>84926011

One of the best side effects of low expectations:

You can do just average but still be considered good.
>>
So, now that Von Drake's good and softened up what'll be the event that forces Schizophrenia into being?
>>
>>84927354
I think it was Dora confronting him
>>
>>84927461
Dora using the red footprints to make Von Drake walk in circles on the ceiling while talking to an empty chair she is pretending Von Drake is sitting in?
>>
>>84927545
that, and also [Boots] trying to strike Von Drake, which leads to [Schizophrenia] blocking the attack
>>
>>84927683

So I'm guessing Dora set up a good trail of reds while he's distracted talking to her, Von Drake gets up to get her chart and gets locked into their path while she carries on a conversation with his empty chair. The moment before she uses Boots to knock him out of the loop, Schizo forms, taking the hit for him and pulling Von Drake out.
>>
>>84928539
Keep in mind, Dora is using [Boots] to leave the trail instead of using her own feet for this.

So the first thing Von Drake sees is a dragon fighting a purple monkey.
>>
>>84928598

All righty then. Just gotta think up how I'll handle the moments between Schizo and Von Drake and we're all set.
>>
>>84929641
Schizo is supposed to be able to talk on its own, so maybe he'll try to calm the doc down?

Doc loses it watching a magic dragon and a purple monkey wearing red boots fight in his office and he calmly walks out, now following the trail left by Dora into Pericles' cell where that dialogue can happen and then the doc calmly walks into a padded cell to lock himself up.
>>
>Day 17

>Dora has been assigned to act as Von Drake's secretary for the day by Membrane, not so much that the doctor needs it but out of worry for his comrade's well-being. For the past few days Ludwig's been unable to sleep properly and seems to be losing weight at a rapid rate. The two of them are currently in his office, the walls notably covered by spare sheets from the rest area
>"Miss Consualez, you really don't have to be here right now. I've just been having a couple of rough nights is all."
>"The professor said you'd say that. To be honest, he's really worried about you. We all are really. Between the outbursts, that fall you took, and you essentially going nuclear on your machine, we've been concerned."
>"It's just the insomnia and the pressure to keep things up really. Though I will admit I've gone too far at points."
>"Have you apologized to her yet?"
>"No, not just yet. It's going to be hard to take back what I said to Miss Sticks. Speaking of which, would you mind fetching me some coffee, Consuela? I'll need my full attention for the reviews."
>"No problemo, doc."

>As Dora walks out of the room, Von Drake shuffles over to the latest stack of drawings from Sticks. As much as he'd hoped, the subject matter had not changed. He was still in that padded cell, bound and staring headlong into the abyss. Except he wasn't alone this time. His cell was being occupied by what appeared to be some type of reptilian creature, almost jovial in its expression. In the midst of his thoughts, Von Drake had failed to realize he was pacing about the office's perimeter, getting faster with each circuit. Upon realizing, he tries to wrest control of his legs back but to no avail, his lower half soon finding its way to the far wall of the office and rather than collide with it, gravity seemed to bend at an angle as the doctor found himself scaling the surface until he was doing loops on the ceiling, seeing the whole of his floor for the first time.
>>
I just got down reading through doc 2 (which was recently fully fleshed out and finished), good show Grey Predders. Good show.

>>84930672
So Von Drake's stand is pretty much the same in most of the closer realities?
>>
>>84925666
>>84930672
We could probably have a scene between these two that shows how the plan was Pericles hiding inside of Wall-E to use his stand on HARDAC, and also of Pericles recalling what Sticks said about how Dredd will kill them all if they end up killing Von Drake.
>>
>>84930672

>At this point Dora returns to his chamber, setting down two cups of coffee upon his desk, looking completely unaware of his position.
>"Consuela! Up here! Get Membrane or Gribble! Something's terribly wrong here."
>"Here you go doc. You didn't say how much azucar or crema you wanted so I just put two of each."
>"Consuela! What are you-"
>"Oh good then. How're the pics?...Huh, I guess she's interpreting you un poco too literally, huh?"
>"Wait, you can hear me right? RIGHT!?"
>"Verdad. It could just be that she's just mad at you but Bobby said that's not too much of a factor."
>[internal] Oh god. What if it's that she's actually talking to me and I'm just not there? What if this is...
>While in his mental motions, the blood has fully rushed into his head, feelings of vertigo and unease surging through him. Dora takes note of this through [Boots'] eyes while carrying on the conversation.
>Dora, internal: All right, he should be dazed enough by this point. All I've gotta do now is make sure to knock him back into his chair. Do it, Boots!
>Dora's stand leaps into the air, primed for a blow to the doctor's legs as his circuit brings him in range of his chair when there's a sudden surge of Stand power flowing about the duck, manifesting an almost cartoonish looking dragon that blocks the blow, mild damage from the blow appearing on Von Drake as well. The dragon then inhales deeply before spewing out a thick pink cloud that rushes towards [Boots], colliding with it, sending the Stand flying and moving Dora with it until she recalls hers. It's only after that she realizes that doing so would also remove the footprints that had been guiding Von Drake all of this time, disconnecting him from the ceiling and sending the doctor plummeting.
>"Oh Mierda!"
>"LUDWIG!!"
>The dragon inhales once more, producing the thickest cloud he can muster beneath his falling owner, the material reducing his drop to almost nothing and gently lowering him down.
>>
>>84885387

Taffyfag, I tried to remove some of the stuff that was probably causing the crash. Can you test it and give a response later?

>>84931513

>>
>>84931409

>"You! Why're you trying to hurt the doctor?!"
>"A talking Stand... Now calm down lagartija, I wasn't trying to-"
>Before she can finish mediating, the dragon rushes in only to be stopped by a newly manifested [Boots]
>"¡DORAAAA!"
>"COME ON!"

>The two specters begin trading blows, the sheer din of their impacts finally reorienting the doctor.

>"Ooh, ugh...what just happened? And what's all of that racket?"

>Von Drake opens his eyes to see an impossible sight, Dora and what appears to be some type of monkey humanoid fighting off the same dragon that he saw in the drawing just moments earlier. He tries to get up only to realize his hand is currently gripping some pink insulation style substance and he's floating roughly a foot off of the floor.

>"Nonononononono, this. This isn't happening. Surely, I must be experiencing another of those hallucinations. Yes, I must be!"

>Hearing his partner's voice, the dragon disengages Dora and her stand, rushing over to Von Drake's side.

>"Oh thank goodness. Don't you ever go and scare me like that again! Who knows what would have happened if I hadn't caught you. W-why are you looking at me like that?"
>"A-a dragon. THAT dragon."
>"Well, yeah! I'm your Stand. It's nice to meet you though I will admit, you've been kind of a rude host. Been trying to help you for weeks!"
>"Mmhmm. Erm, question. Just what am I sitting on?"
>"Oh that's my dream smoke! Essentially, I take a bit of our stream of consciousness and give it solid form."
>"OUR consciousness?!"
>"Well yeah, you summoned me into being."

>As Ludwig dismounts the cloud, he walks over to Dora, a very disturbed look on his face.

>"Miss Consualez. I would appreciate it if you called Doctor Robert. As of today, I'll be taking an [sharp inhale] EXTENDED leave of absence and I'd rather the ward not go wanting."
>"Where are you going then?"
>"Somewhere I've belonged for a long time now."
>>
>>84931824

Dude, real talk, thanks for putting up with us and our bullshit during part 5.
>>
>>84932562
Might not be necessary to have Dora lay out a trail leading him into Pericles' cell now, but I'd still like for that dialogue to happen.
>>
>>84933803
Part 5 I just took everything everyone could throw at it and spun it the best I could. It just seemed like if I didn't do it then it wasn't going to get done.

Turned out I was able to pace out action scenes well enough that no one complained, and part 5 was pretty much a continuous string of fights.

Part 6 is more dialogue heavy, and I have less of a knack of dialogue, so I'm glad someone else has taken the reins.
>>
>>84933926

Eh, it's not so much dialogue heavy more than it's just the style I'm more used to writing in.
>>
>>84935245
I'll probably have more to do when we get to the excavation and there's a need for descriptive action sequences.

So far, aside from the first draft of the bus ride and the "daddy" fight, I've just been idea spit-balling and organizing the notes.
>>
>>84932562

>Von Drake walks up to the front desk looking quite haggard as his Stand floats in the air at his side.

>"Lugwig? Ludwig, come on man, you can't just live your life in denial! I mean Membrane's not that much better but at least he's trying to cope."
>"Uh-huh."

>After a brief trek, he reaches the reception area where Nurse Doom is rather casually manning the desk.

>"Oh hey docta' Drake. What's going on?"
>"There have been some eh, uh... conditions of mine that I've been neglecting for the longest time and it seems they've gotten to the point where my life is becoming consumed by them. I'd like to have myself committed."
>"You're fucking with me, right doc?"
>"Nothing close dear. This is for my safety as well as everyone else's."
>"Eh, all right then. Would you like to be shown to a room or dragged kicking and screaming?"
>"Ooh, kicking and screaming please."

>The nurse depresses a button on her desk, summoning two rather rough looking orderlies who take Von Drake by his arms, the doctor caterwauling as they drag him through the far doors and into the intake area. In a few minutes, he's set up in Pericles' cell while his own room is being properly set up, much to the parrot's delight.

>”Well well, mein doctor, quite the puzzling situation you've found yourself in, no? Such is the fate of he who tries to tame the noble savage; he will always find his own savagery among them.”
>”I… I don't know what you're talking about.”
>”Heh heh, for a man as accredited as you, it's a shame to see you neglecting your own reality even as it crumbles about you like a child. But you were never one to see the elephant in the room. Or in your case, the dragon upon his mound.”
>Schizo: Are you talking about me? Because I could actually use a mound.
>Von Drake: Both of you, stop that. I don't need anything else fueling my schizophrenia.
>Schizo: Huh, so that's what you're calling me now. Meh, it's got a ring to it, I guess.

>After WALL-E finds a moment to break away from Membrane, he wheels himself over to Pericles' cell, his co-conspirators waiting in tow. Upon sealing the door, the robot opens his compactor compartment, releasing a very winded Pericles.

>"Mein leiben! I swear the reason he wears that collar so high is so he can never see how long he flaps his lips!"
>Suzie: We thank you for your sacrifice professor. Tell us, how did ze operation play out?
>Sticks: You didn't kill him, right?!
>Pericles: As satisfying as it would have been to stuff and mount him with my Stand, I held back. A slap to the face and a brisk fall was all I imparted upon him. Honestly, having the machine bring in his creator to do the rest of the mental damage for me worked better than I ever expected.
>Dora: Huh, didn't think the abuelo had it in him.
>Pericles: Despite my lust for revenge, I'm forward thinking enough to realize that having herr Dredd investigating our actions is far too grave a consequence. Still, I had my fun.

>After stretching out a bit, Pericles flies back through the opening in the wall cut out by Muzzle hours earlier, returning to the perch in his cell.

>"So what's next, mein devious kinder? I must say, the suspense is exhilarating."
>Dora: I've been doing some experimenting with my Stand during the downtime. The plan I've got should make for quite a show.

And the Von Drake business is now settled (until I want to bring him back during the finale with him thinking he's lost it and just enjoying watching his dragon wreck the Warden's monsters).

Next set of cliff notes

Bobby reclaims the psych ward
>Sticks constantly had visions of Von Drake losing his shit
>He dismissed them as mere childish insults
>After Von Drake finally snaps, Bobby rummages through his notes and discover that the vision became true
>This makes him contact Penny and share the whole archive with her

>Plans are made to get Dora's stuff back and acted upon
>Need an explanation of what [Glory Road] does so the others understand why Dora wants it back
>Sticks' power opens up how Dora gets her map back
>Wall-E aided by Sticks' power of foresight is guided through all kinds of contrived security measures to get it into the evidence locker where it grabs Dora's map.
>Suzie puts some eyes on Wall-E so they can see what he's doing, as well as a mouth hidden somewhere so they can give him instructions
>Sticks sees a number of bad futures where Dredd catches them
>Dora has to make some judgment calls and prove she really trusts the wilder things Sticks says they need to do ("sick your finger up his nose" kind of situation).

Not sure if Pericles will try to betray them and fly off with the map. Could work. We'd have to see him again in PI, meaning he might actually be a Brojo just by the amount of association we've had with him.
>>
>>84937135

I'd say it'd just be a legit escape attempt seeing as if they tried to shoot him down, his Stand would just magnetize the bullets. Plus, it'd make for some good foreshadowing that Dredd isn't using a normal gun, tying back to that Stand idea Reviewfag had for him.
>>
>>84937505
I figured Dredd would shoot a bullet made of electricity to shock him into a spasm casing him to fall from somewhere very high up in the Panopticon to his presumptive death.
>>
>Day 19
>After Von Drake's self imposed incarceration, Bobby had his role changed from advisor to interim head of Psychiatric Care for the prison, essentially taking charge of the ward for the foreseeable future. The air in the wing has grown decidedly easier even if Membrane seems to be a bit dejected over the loss of his long time partner. While settling into his new role, Bobby goes through Von Drake's notes, trying to get a more in-depth feel for the patients he'll be seeing on a much more constant basis. He takes great interest in Sticks' file, noting a quite sudden turn in his opinion of her drawings. He even saved the two most recent ones and to Hill's curiosity, they're nearly identical to what happened. Looks through other archives bring a number of similar findings. Seeing this, he makes a mental note to involve Penny.

>Out in the lobby, Sticks, Suzie, and Dora are enjoying a light lunch together.

>Sticks: So how've Muzzle and Psycho been treating you, Suzie?
>Suzie: Our time together has proved constructive. Ze two of them have slowly been showing more signs of mental growth. I'm even teaching Muzzle to enunciate through the mask.
>Dora: So what's next for you, Sticks? The two of us are going to be out of here in a couple of days.
>Sticks: I think I'll stick around for now. Bobby's been really helping me work with my Stand even if he doesn't entirely realize it.
>Suzie: I take it you've found zat happy ending, you were searching for, non?
>Sticks: Well, I'm not exactly in a position to complain really! There is one thing though. Whenever I look forward, I keep seeing Dora with a backpack and some kind of map. Can't explain why exactly. After that, things start spreading out. I don't know; I guess none of the other Stickses are close enough to that event yet.
>Dora: Wait, I had my map and backpack? How'd I get it?
>Sticks: Eh, not sure. Kinda confused me honestly. Not much good a map's going to do you in prison.
>>
>>84938884
We should also work in some scenes of the Warden who had been watching it all unfold, noting that Dora is exceeding his expectations.

They might be better saved for after Pericles is shot down, but it's best we remain mindful of the big bad of this part.
>>
>>84938884

>Dora: It's not exactly a regular map. Do you remember about 5 years ago when all of that shit went down in Acme Acres?
>Sticks: Oh yeah! They said something about some giant monsters wrecking the place.
>"That's...mostly right. But I was there back then."
>"No way!"
>Suzie: "Hmm, zat would explain ze rather violent introduction we had."
>Dora: Uh-huh. When the WB tower came down, I was still doing mule work for the cartel. There was a lot of chaos going on at the time so I did some looting before the cops could get a handle on things and I found the map in the debris from one of their buildings.
>Sticks: So what's the map do!?
>"It's a treasure map basically. But the thing was basically fucking magic. It would change to show me 「what I was looking for.」 At the time, I was looking for a score big enough to get me a better place in the operation. Following it led me to something that changed the world: Stand Jawbreakers. It led me to stash after stash of them and soon my group had hit the big time. I that map again and again and it would always change depending on what I needed.
>Suzie: Perhaps it was not magic. After all, we've learned a good few things about our abilities in here.
>Sticks: Are you implying that her map has a Stand? Or is one?
>Suzie: Mmm. Iz hard to say. But nothing is truly out of ze realm of possibility considering what we can do.
>Dora: Eh, I'll worry about that later. For now, getting that back could be some major insurance for us. It might even be able to find us a way out of here.
>Sticks: Trust me Dora, even with all of the Stand Users in here, no one's made it out on their own power.
>Dora: We won't exactly be using ours, now will we?
>>
>>84939906

^ I used that map

Also, I'm going to need some idea of what kind of obstacles WALL-E will face on the way to and from the evidence locker.
>>
>>84940026
there was a suggestion where he bumped into Dredd
>>
>>84936827
Just after pressing the button it freezes and CTD's Immediatly.
>>
>>84940026
Well, for one Wall-E will be acting like a very conspicuous spy. He'll be doing mission impossible shit while making the sound effects like what Kronk did when in the movie he's from.

It also gives us a good opportunity to see what the prison staff do, interactions between Frizzle, Dredd, Gameboy, anyone on the staff list really. Might even be a good time to introduce Trevor.

Wall-E is going to the evidence locker, so there's going to be a security guard, a vault (complete with combination lock), laser motion senors, and other cliche stuff since this is a prison built by the Warden. He'd also need to find where in the vault Dora's stuff is located, so that'd require some computer searching.

What Wall-E really needs is a reason to be at this location.

And I just had a stray thought that while Dora is under the prison, at some point a jawbreaker falls out of her backpack that a cockroach consumes, and said cockroach is adopted by Wall-E.

But back to the evidence locker conundrum, maybe it's next to where Wall-E is supposed to go to get fitted for the excavation he's been assigned to?
>>
>>84941078

I was thinking about that and had the idea that they'd stuff Pericles into him again so his magnetics could disable the locks and sensors that'd get in their way while also giving him the basis to try to escape while he can, emboldened by the girls' plan.
>>
>>84941474
I thought of that too, but I didn't know how well it'd work or what Pericles' motivation for going along with it would be other than wanting the map for himself.
>>
>>84942244

Probably as a favor to them since they did get rid of Von Drake's hold on the ward as well as give him a good few swings at the duck.
>>
>>84942386
So then he just takes his opportunity to escape when he sees it?
>>
>>84942660

It's more like he's had the ability to escape ever since they cut that hole out of his cell but wanted to at least show his appreciation to them before doing so. The idea of him getting sucked into PI and becoming a mid to late game Brojo sounds pretty nice so I want it to at least be on amicable terms.
>>
>>84942843
Makes me think they'll find him in PI chained to a rock while a group of humanoid monsters come to rip out his liver and eat it everyday.

They tell him they thought he was dead and he tells them this place can make you wish you were.
>>
>>84943087

I can't imagine a parrot liver providing much sustenance.
>>
>>84943523
It's more for symbolism, even though the symbolism here is wrong.

Pericles would refer to the Warden as an all powerful sadistic mad man who can't be bothered to do follow up research.
I just felt the Warden confusing Pericles and Prometheus would be in character for him since he doesn't sweat the details.
>>
Gonna mull over some possibilities for the evidence locker run and beyond. Keep the thread and discussion alive, folks. We're going to break /co/'s curse of never finishing OC projects.

>>84943757

Hmm, fair enough actually.
>>
>>84937135
>And the Von Drake business is now settled (until I want to bring him back during the finale with him thinking he's lost it and just enjoying watching his dragon wreck the Warden's monsters).

YES. PLEASE.
>>
>>84943973
Oh, maybe the evidence locker is like Syndrome's volcano lair where there's a huge wall of lava that needs to be parted to progress.

Or Wall-E needs to go through air ducts using his treads to keep climbing up.

And also slip by Gameboy's charging station.
>>
Now, how is Sticks going to extend her range to see what will happen to Wall-E in the other universes?
>>
>>84946541
Does it have a limited range? I mean, she predicted President Nobody and Loss and she wasn't directly connected to those events.
>>
>>84946781
That's not what I mean.

So far it's limited to only letting her look in on other Stickses and their experiences, she saw a Sticks in a world where Nobody was president, she saw a Sticks way in the future where meme magic was running wild and got a look at the "loss" thing without understanding it.

This is Wall-E, not Sticks, meaning there's an infinite number of other universes where they are trying this same plan, but Sticks can only see those universes through those universes' Sticks.

Wall-E is going somewhere that they cannot directly observe, so the degree of guesswork using Sticks power to assist in this goes WAY up.

Yes, they're kind of like a stage hazard right now, but that's just the current notes for PI. That's all subject to change once we actually get to that part.

Right now we're still a ways away from PI.

I didn't even think he was going to be in this part anymore since it seems like every other non-main character has some kind of scheme brewing.

It makes the whole idea of Plankton trying to take over the jail feel tacked on since there's no area to properly develop his plans in.

That's why we're having Suzie create at least one set of eyes somewhere on WALL-E's frame. She relays the info to Sticks, Sticks goes diving through the universes and brings back possible outcomes, and then they deliberate the best course of action. We're still stuffing Pericles in him though seeing as his size and general lack of hands would hurt WALL-E on this mission.
>>
So, tentative outline:

-The girls, Wall-E and Pericles go over some plans to get Dora's map back, Oceans' style
-A plan is finalized for a revisit to one of their schemes to break the doctor: Pericles will be carried by WALL-E through the prison corridors to the evidence locker, hoping that his general unkempt appearance will keep people from thinking too much of him being there
-The plan is to reach the evidence locker, use Pericles to disable the locks, grab Dora's map, and get the the hell out
-There would be a guard posted there (Have we really worked out any guards other than Dredd?)
who they'd have to distract for long enough to keep the operation going
-Having retrieved the map, WALL-E/Pericles try to make a mad dash for the ward but the wing goes on alert after the posted guard realizes someone got into the locker
-At that point, it'll be up to Sticks and Dora to guide him around the various traps and sensors until the guys can get back to the ward
-Pericles, emboldened by having beaten the system twice, says his good-byes to the ward members claiming they'll meet again as semi-free men, partially because he wants out and to make it seem like he was the one responsible for the heist
-Snipers try to blast him out of the air but his Stand renders their attacks useless until Dredd casts Bolt and knocks the professor out of the air, his fate unknown from that point on
>>
>>84955876
>until Dredd casts Bolt and knocks the professor out of the air, his fate unknown from that point on
Wut?
>>
>>84956121

Dredd's Stand allows him to shoot any type of bullet out of his gun so long as he announces it. He essentially fires a bolt of lightning into Pericles to stop him.
>>
>>84955298
That's at least two degrees removed from Sticks then, meaning anything she gets from other universes is going to be really shaky since it'll be based on what other universe Suzies tell to other universe Stickses.

>>84955876
Pericles taking the heat for the heist seems odd to me.

Well, the heist being discovered kind of creates a plot hole since then the prison staff would know what's missing and I'm not sure how Dora would be able to walk around with her map and backpack without them being taken again.

Unless the backpack as the ability to change appearance.

Also remember that Dora records Pericles being "killed" to send it to Penny.
>>
>>84957487

I was thinking of covering said hole by having Sticks draw out at least one copy of the map based on how she'd seen it in the vision and have WALL-E take it to swap out.
>>
>>84958099
The prison staff never even examined the map, so they could just swap it out with a piece of paper, but that still doesn't cover the backpack.

Are we doing some Indiana Jones weight swapping when Wall-E when he gets to the locker where the map and backpack are? They'd have to make sure no one knows which lockers in the vault was tampered with.
>>
>>84958373
The backpack can be stuffed inside Wall-E, turning him into a walking bag of holding
>>
>>84958482
That's a good idea.

Maybe there's something in the evidence locker that Pericles is also after? Something he wants, which is why he's agreed to this plan.
>>
>>84958886

We name dropped the planospheric disc earlier; maybe Pericles is looking to get his fragment back.
>>
>>84959716
I feel if we included that we'd have to link it to some bigger plot in the works for later.

I don't know if we want to do that since we already had a lot of plot hooks during part 5 that aren't going to develop until parts 7 and 8.
>>
>>84959815

The disc and by extension the Entity seem like they'd fit right into Ethan's plans as a vehicle for the absolute spread of LOSS. Plus, it gives the Scope Men some more agency in the story since they'd have lived long enough to remember what happened the last time some madman tried to complete it.
>>
>>84960698
But do we really want to do that when we already have the corpse parts in part 7 as a "fetch quest"?
>>
>>84961384

It doesn't necessarily make for another collect-a-thon. We could just have a Pucci situation where the protags don't put the cult's plans together until the eleventh hour.
>>
>>84962952
If we're actually using the disc, then let's just have it be something the cult already has assembled before the events kicks off.

But we're getting off track: do we want a piece of the disc to be the thing Pericles wants to get out of the evidence locker for himself?
>>
>>84963637
>let's just have it be something the cult already has assembled before the events kicks off.
yeah, this works better. Maybe it leads to the location of the Scopemen homeland
>>
>>84964186
Not sure why Pericles would even want to go there since Wong is the one interested in Scopemen for this part, but OK.

The disc fragment could be something they unearth from below the jail, and Pericles wants it because reasons.

Wong doesn't even know about it since he's focused on getting to Dan.

Maybe he is unaware of the actual meaning of the disk, or he was hired by someone else to steal the fragment (either an unknown employer or Ethan if he is already active during part 6), though isn't a very crucial plot point.
>>
Alright, retrieving [Glory Road].

Wall-E has to sneak past Gameboy's charging station, through the prison staff meeting rooms, into the air ducts, around the guard (Droopy?) at the entrance to the evidence lock up, disable the security, wait for the lava to drain out of the vault, access the computer to find the right locker, grab the map and the backpack, and get out of there.

While getting out of there, he has to avoid Dredd, the alarms don't go off until Pericles breaks into another locker to get whatever and that gives Wall-E his opportunity to get the fuck out of dodge.
>>
>>84966873

Wouldn't Droopy's Stand make it impossible for WALL-E to shake him though?
>>
>>84967525
Droopy's on break, or taking a nap, or in some otherwise way can't be arsed into working. As long as Wall-E doesn't provoke him, he's fine.

I'm just getting tired of anons saying Droopy is in this and we have to keep pushing him back to later parts since he's too fucking OP.

Well if he has to be the almighty god dog, then we should make him lazier than Scruffy.
>>
>>84967643
Droopy honestly does seem like the kind of guy who wouldn't give a fuck about things going wrong. We could always play it off as him avoiding using his stand so the Warden ignores him, kinda like Marvin trying to stay out of Daffy's way in part 3.
>>
>>84967941
Yeah, it's either we go with that or reassign him to be a Scopeman in part 8, and I really don't want to put him in part 8.

So Droopy doesn't give a fuck about Wall-E breaking into the vault (he could even be fully aware of it and just be pretending to sleep) because Wall-E isn't a villain.

But Pericles, he has to the alarm for Pericles because he's a villain.
>>
>>84965622
Nope. After pressing the button "Chapter 1: The Mask" it CTD's. I really am sorry for my unreliableness for testing the game.
>>
>>84968103

All right, that should work then. Give me like an hour and I'll start writing it out.
>>
>>84968922
Cool, and this does seem less to go on than what you've been writing out so far.

I think while in the vents Wall-E should overhear some of the staff talking about what the Warden has promised them and also what kind of perks he gives them, possibly as foreshadowing to PI with how absurd some of it sounds.

Pericles being inside of Wall-E should be like a submarine kind of situation for him unless he's made some modifications to the interior to allow for him to see what's going on.

Or he could possibly be using his stand to see out of Wall-E's eyes.

He could probably also make Wall-E float or fly for short distances, so that's how they get over the lava.
>>
>>84968286
Don't worry. I think I understand the problem now. Just wait for an update.
>>
>Day 20

>The group is currently in Pericles' cell, prepping him and WALL-E for Operation Cuckoo's Nest. It's a plan put together mostly out of tape and bubblegum but it's the best they have. While Dora is helping Pericles fit into the robot's storage compartment, Suzie is using Slug Bait to create a pair of eyes just under WALL-E's and a mouth within him.

>Sticks: All right folks, we're approaching Zero Hour. Let's go through this one last time just to make sure everyone's got the plan straight.
>Pericles: Oof, careful liebchen; I'm not as durable as I used to be. But yes, I and the machine will be making our way through the halls until just about we hit the staff wing. That's when I'll use my ability to magnetize the two of us into the air conditioning system, bypassing the checkpoint.
>Dora: From there you two are mostly going to be on your own but we'll have Sticks continually looking out for you and sending advice on what to do.
>Suzie: Once you reach ze evidence locker, ze professor will unbind the lock using 'is Stand, you locate our map and knapsack, replace ze guide with the fake Sticks drew up, cover your trail and run like cowards back the way you came.
>Dora: It's a long shot, but I think we can do this. But to be honest, I'm surprised that you were up for this, perico.
>Pericles: You lot helped me exact a far sweeter revenge on herr doktor than I thought possible. The very least I can do is show my appreciation. Plus, after all we've been through these past three weeks., I can't help but see you all as comrades in arms.
>Sticks: Huh, look at you getting all sentimental.
>Pericles: Ja, ja. The niceties can wait. Destiny lies before us. Let us not keep it waiting, herr WALL-E!
>*supportive robot sounds!*
>>
>>84970391

>WALL-E with Pericles in tow departs from the Psych Ward, doing his damndest to maintain good speed while not seeming conspicuous, coming off to many as if the little robot is taking a jog. After about 10 minutes of travel, they round the corner heading towards the staff wing but in the robot's haste, he accidentally runs into the foot of Judge Dredd, a violently menacing aura swirling about his masked visage. Back at central command, the girls are trying to work out Sticks' visions as they come to her when a chill runs through Suzie.

>Suzie: Oh merde.
>Dora: Talk to me Suzie; what's happening?!
>Suzie: Dredd has found them and he iz not in good spirits! Should I have them come back?
>Sticks: No, let it play out.
>Dora and Suzie look over to Sticks, currently in a yoga pose with her eyes tightly shut, her Stand clicking and moving without end.
>Sticks: Tell him to wipe the boot.
>Dora: Won't that just make it worse?!
>Sticks: Guys, I'm going to need you to trust me for this. I'm seeing enough bad ends for those two as is; I've got to go with what I'm seeing.
>Dora and Suzie share a worried look before the pale girl relays the message to their envoy, Pericles sweating bullets inside of the robot. WALL-E then tries to finagle his hands to wipe Dredd's boot where he scuffed it. The head of security then walks off in the middle, muttering to himself.
>"Don't know what he sees in those defective things..."
>After he leaves, both parrot and robot share a sigh of relief.
>"I was expecting excitement but certainly not that. Keep your resolve tempered, herr WALL-E. The complicated part begins now."
>The two of them round another corner, reaching the last hallway before the staff wing checkpoint. Using 『MASTER OF PUPPETS,』 Pericles levitates them up to an air conditioning vent, his magnetism undoing the bolts holding it in place and slipping them in, resealing it after.
>>
>>84971048
Mission Impossible soundtrack intensifies.

A thought, once the backpack is inside Wall-E far later, Dora did tell Pericles that it is bigger on the inside, right?
>>
>>84971048

>They continue on through the ventilation system, Pericles' Stand magnetically levitating them through as to not create any unnecessary noise.
>Suzie: We have entered ze vents. Which turns do we take?
>Sticks: Hmm, we're going to need a judgement call here. Taking the far turn means a longer route to the evidence room but a much quieter one. The duct to your right is a lot more visible but it's only minutes to the vault.
>Dora: We're working with too small a perspective and keeping those two in there longer just means more we can't see coming. Let's power through this.
>Sticks: You sure?
>Dora: If the situation changes, we can always count on you seeing it, right?
>Suzie: Ah, that bold streak of yours iz rearing its ugly head again...

>Taking the directions, Pericles floats them into the near duct, directly bypassing the security checkpoint and taking a route above the staff lounge. As they pass, a few bits of conversation can be heard through a grate.

>"You guys ever get that feeling that maybe you're...I dunno, not cut out for this kind of work?
>"Eh, not really. I'm former TAG. If I wasn't doing this kind of work, I wouldn't know what to do with meself."
>"Full disclosure: I'm kinda just in this for the benefits."
>"Yeah, I know the feeling. There's a house out in the country with my name it. Can't wait to get the kids out there. It'd do the little bastards some good."
>"Wait, you actually settled for the house offer? Dude, you have to learn to hardball. Guess who got herself a castle?"

>*Quizzical robot noises?*
>"I don't quite get it either..."
>Suzie: Focus, you two. Ze drop you need will be about 10 seconds ahead of you. Sticks warns me: go as quiet as possible. You will not be alone.
>>
>>84971817
I don't think I get it either as well.
>>
>>84971817

>Pericles undoes the vent grate, carefully reinstalling it as he and WALL-E descend, dropping to the floor with a muted thud. As he drives, the robot notices a currently unpowered Gameboy, charging in his cradle, a few pixelated Z's upon his sleeping screen. After stopping to gawk for a few seconds, he continues on, sticking to every low corner and shadow he can manage. After about 5 minutes, they come to a rather odd sight. Apparently, the Warden has found some interesting ideas in architecture as there seems to be a cascade of molten rock emanating from the wall at the far end of their corridor.

>Pericles: Was zur Hölle?
>Suzie: My exact sentiments. Sticks, we seem to be between a rock and a hot place.
>Sticks: Give me a sec... All right, you're going to have to be quick about this one. The wall will open up in roughly 15 seconds and they HAVE to make it through in 5 or they'll be incinerated.
>Dora: Who the hell puts a lava wall in a prison!?
>Suzie: Eccentricity zeems to be a common factor amongst our ranks, non?

>With new information relayed, Pericles devises a somewhat desperate plan. Knowing that the robots treads won't be fast enough to make it through the expanse in time, he prepares multiple points of his Stand in a railgun like fashion. The moment the lava part, Pericles sets every node to repel WALL-E's metal mass, the force firing them through the gap just before it can reseal.

>"Mein apologies, herr WALL-E. Are you still in one piece?"
>*confirming robot noises!*
>"Such spirit on this one! Onwards!"

>The path takes them to an isolated chamber lined with multiple huge lockers, contraband and seized material filling their shelves, and a lone computer sitting before all of them. Off on the far wall, Droopy is seen sitting on a stool, napping, his light snores filling the empty space.
>>
>>84972715

>Pericles: Ach. The oracle said nothing of there being a guard!
>Suzie: Do not worry. Apparently, you're the last thing he seems to care about.
>Pericles: What of the computer then?
>Suzie: Hmm, allow me to ask. ...Ze password is "Stingray." One word, first letter capitalized.
>Pericles: WALL-E, you are literate correct?
>*somewhat miffed robot noises*
>Pericles: Vat? I had to be sure.

>Pericles floats the robot up to the keyboard where he punches in the passcode, ending the lockscreen and opening up a cataloguing program.
>Suzie: From here, you just type in the item name and it tells you which row, number, and shelf it is on.
>After inputting the phrases "map" and "backpack", it leads them to the 5th row, locker 22, 8th shelf. Luckily enough, the staff kept Dora's items together. The pair wheel themselves over, 『MASTER OF PUPPETS』 undoing the tumblers in the lock securing the door and then floating WALL-E up to the proper shelf.

>Pericles: All right, we have found the items. Now, where do we go from here? I doubt both that bag and myself will fit in here together.
>Suzie: Dora says not to worry about that. From what's she's found, that bag of hers has some interesting properties to it as well. So long as ze latch can close, what ever enters it WILL fit.
>The robot then opens his storage compartment, allowing Pericles to exit, false map in his feet. The bird then stuffs the bag in, opening out before swapping the maps. As he does however, his eyes train in on something in a locker at the far end of the room, a piece of something very familiar to him shining through the grating.

>Pericles: Gott im Himmel, is that?!

>The parrot looks incredibly conflicted for a few seconds before returning to WALL-E, securing himself within the bag, which is surprisingly roomy despite the space, before the robot secures the door.
>>
>>84973708
Sticks would warn him not to, but she'd also see he'd do it anyway.

I had an idea for the end of the part that Pericles managed to disappear in the commotion before the Warden's super hell blasted the others off across the world when it was defeated. He gets away with some interesting artifacts and passes them off to a mysterious man.

But that's for the very end.
>>
>>84973708

>The duo drop down, wheeling out with haste. Oddly, as they pass Droopy WALL-E could swear the bloodhound waved him off.

>Suzie: Excellent work gentlemen. From this point on, it should be a straight shot back.
>Pericles: ...
>"Professor?"
>"Just the nerves, is all..."

>Launching once more through the lava flow and taking painstaking care to avoid waking Gameboy, the two of them backtrack through the vent system, ill-gotten gains in tow. Despite Suzie and Dora's celebration, Sticks looks incredibly tense.

>Sticks: No. Nonononono, what's he doing?!
>Dora: Wait, what's wrong?
>Sticks: Causality is shifting again! Suzie, you have to stop Pericles!
>Suzie: Pericles? But why?

>Back at the corner before the security checkpoint, the professor has WALL-E come out of the vent back-first, opening the compartment door with his magnetism before pushing the robot out.

>*Panicked whirring*
>"Do not worry about me, herr WALL-E. Do you remember what I told you earlier about 『destiny?』 I had thought mine long gone after all of my years in here, but hope still remains."

>Pericles then seals off the vent, the little robot trying to keep the parrot in sight
>*sad processing sounds*
>"We must part for now. The longer you stay here, the more suspicious you look and I can only do so much to shift blame if you stay around. But before you go, send meine freunde in the ward this message:

>"Let us meet again. As freer people. Auf wiedersehen."

>Having said his piece, the professor glows with the energy of his Stand, mag-levitating through the ventilation system as WALL-E books it, turning back every now and then, hoping his partner will change his mind.

>Suzie: Sticks. We couldn't stop him.
>Sticks: Oh lord.

>Dora: What the hell did he do?

>Dora: Can he really do it though?
>Looking over to Sticks, despite her unflinching position, actual tears are streaming from her eyes.
>Sticks: He'll try. But...

>Pericles is rocketing through the vents, slowing a bit before the sleeping machine and then blasting through the lava gate. Within the evidence locker, he uses his Stand to rip the lock off of the 28th case in the 5th row, coming to find what appears to be a stone triangle covered in ancient looking runes and a pyramid-like indentation near the top.

>"After all of these ages. I thought I'd never see you again."

>Taking the artifact into his talons, he backtracks to the 22nd locker, shattering the lock and using the pieces to grab onto the fake map he planted, folding it into a neat bundle and tying it to his leg.

>"Oh no. That dastardly parrot has made it in here. I'd better do my job."

>Hearing the voice, Pericles fires the remaining bits of lock towards its general direction before realizing they didn't strike anything. Looking to his right, he sees the guard just under him.

>"Now come on, let's not be silly. Just surrender yourself and this all goes quietly."

>Pericles panics a bit upon realizing that Droopy got the drop on him despite being halfway across the room at last glance. Using his stand, the parrot rockets off before creating a magnetic center near the guard, sending all of the evidence lockers smashing together around him. Just before he can reach the wall, the dog appears before him unscathed.

>"Now that wasn't very nice."

I supposed Pericles could try negotiation with Droopy.

Or tear a hole in the ceiling and get out in the open air of the panopticon to make a flight for the roof.

Droopy can warp to wherever Pericles is, but gravity is still in play meaning he'd have to be constantly warping to keep from falling.
>>
>>84975862

>Pericles, internal: Why must I always have such terrible luck with dogs?!
>Droopy stays on him with a ferocity underplayed by his melancholic expression all through out the room, until it seems he's been pinned down in a corner.

>"Have you decided to come quietly? I'd rather not waste our time."
>"My sentiments exactly."
>Unbeknownst to Droopy, Pericles pushed himself into the corner with his Stand at the small of his back, magnetizing the rebar and electrical wire in the walls, yanking them and the concrete holding them out, spraying the room in dust and debris as he flies out through the opening created.

>Pericles, internal: I don't know the exact measures of your Stand but I know it's targeting me somehow. You made a fatal mistake though, you mutt. You gave me time to analyze you!

>As Pericles travels through broken wall after broken wall, Droopy maintains chase, falling only to warp yet again unless there was a ledge to have him.

>[Internal] 5 more feet!
>As Pericles passes a certain platform created by the shattered walls, Droopy warps in, almost on cue. The moment he appears on the face is when he realizes he'd jumped right into Pericles' trap. That ledge contained a live wire, it's metal casing yanked into position by the bird's Stand, waiting for him to appear there! Droopy has the electricity surge into the small of his back and despite this he still doesn't change facial expression, even while every hair on his body is standing on end.

>"...Ow."

>He drops, a trail of smoke flowing from his backside as Pericles smashes through the last wall, finally reaching the outside.
>>
>>84976474
Small of his back?
>>
>>84976474

>Despite his escape from the building, Pericles was only halfway to freedom, the outer walls of the Panopticon his last looming obstacle. The moment he found himself in the air, an almost impossible elation overcame the bird, his future looking brighter than ever. The air was filled with the sounds of countless snipers firing away at him but his Stand rendered their attacks useless, doing nothing more than giving him ample ammunition. Using the railgun technique from before, he returned their shots in kind, a lead rain descending upon the walls. Each flap of his wings took him closer and closer to the open roof of the structure, victory just beyond it.

>Back at the ground level, Dredd walks calmly onto the battleground, looking to the walls and seeing how many sharpshooters were either killed or maimed by Pericles' counterattack.
>"Wastes of space. His ability's been on record."
>The judge unholsters his gun and taking aim, the sunlight bouncing off of the visor and sheen of his helmet.
>"Electrocute."
>The gun's barrel glows with Stand power as it fires, the bullet more akin to a laser, streaks of electricity dancing about and trailing behind, the shot just barely missing Pericles, now panicked over the fact that his Stand couldn't catch that shot. That moment's hesitation would be his downfall as Dredd squeezed off another round, this one striking him square in the chest, the impact not penetrating but spreading like fire across his nervous system. Pericles' wings begin to spasm and seize as he falls, burned feathers dancing in the air as he descends.

Alright.

So I was reading Droopy's stand on doc 6, it says he can warp to wherever his mark is, even if they're in another dimension.

He's got to warp inside PI at some point. Maybe Sticks asks him if he's sure Pericles didn't get away when he has her cornered for some reason at some point.
Then when he appears inside of PI before Dora's group with Pericles he can say "I knew you lived."
From there Dora enacts the ruse cruse that he is a guard of the prison, they are prisoners, they are all currently not at the prison and therefore it is his duty to escort them back to the prison.

Part one was full of great moments. Did we ever fix the ending? Looked a bit off last I recall, not as complete as the other parts' were. Been a while though.
>>
>>84979662
I'm pretty sure part 1's ending was solid.

It's part 3's ending that wasn't fully fleshed out, or at least as written out as if could be.

Part 4 is one that I'd like to touch up at some point. I was burning out during part 4 because I wasn't getting much help near the end of it.
As soon as Gadget was dead, it's like no one wanted to help get the rest of done and I feel it suffered for it.

At least that prepped me for part 5.
>>
>>84979662
Since that anon mentioned part 1, I was checking it and found some missing bits of text (for example: "anwhile" instead of "meanwhile" and the second paragraph in the description of Melody is missing the start of the sentence)

>>84979817
What I remember from part 4 is that the last fights outside the LHC (Ratigan, Fred, etc) weren't elaborated beyond their rough draft
>>
>>84980114
Yeah, because we were super burned out by the end of part 4. It was either get through while we still had any momentum, or the project would've died right there.
Again, it's something I'd like to go back and touch up after we get through part 8.

Part 1's doc has some formatting needed. We didn't really get it standardized until part 3, and then we didn't go back to standardize parts 1 and 2.

And each time I read through any of the docs, I always find more spelling and grammar issues to fix.
>>
>>84980262
I took care of some of the formatting, spelling and grammar checks in part 5, may as well correct the other parts to kill time, but I'm not formatting the older parts until the one that was embellishing them finishes
>>
>>84980674
Oh, part 2 is done being embellished.

That was wrapped up sometime this week or last.
>>
>>84980710
alright, I'll do some checking in part 1 and then move to part 2
>>
>>84981789
Yes, threads appear to be sinking quite quickly on /co/ tonight.
>>
I'll give it a bump before bed and hope for the best.
That's about all I can give it right now.

So what scenes from the psych ward has Dora recorded with the lenses Inch High gave her?
>>
>>84982997
>>84983968
well, it looks like the thread sinks at the same speed of the last days.
>So what scenes from the psych ward has Dora recorded with the lenses Inch High gave her?
The first that comes to mind is HARDAC before or after each treatment
>>
>>84971430
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAYhNHhxN0A
>>
>>84983968

Each HARDAC treatment but that's about it. Everything in the ward can be attributed to Von Drake's failings but not necessarily the Warden's.
>>
>>84986100

Also, they recorded Pericles' "death".
>>
>>84977225

>As Dora, Bobby, and the rest of the ward watch from their windows, mouths agape in horror as Pericles falls, his screams riding atop the wind. He soon falls out of their sight and moments after a hard crashing sound can be heard as something slams into the ground.

>Dora: Pericles...
>From behind she can feel Suzie's hand upon her shoulder.
>Suzie: He has found his freedom, albeit not in the way he may have thought.
>Bobby: I just don't understand it; why go out so loudly? How'd he even get out?!
>Hill makes his way to the cell to investigate, finding a sizeable hole dug under the tray used to change out his sheets.
>"My god, he'd been planning this from the start! Girls, I need to get forensics in here, hold down the fort for now!"
>As Bobby runs out, the three of them can finally be candid again.
>Suzie: I've just remembered. Despite the tragedy, we're still missing a party member.
>Dora: Fuck, we forgot about WALL-E! Are your parts still active?
>"Ze are but..."

>After the escape attempt, the entire prison has gone into absolute lockdown, multiple security systems activating in the halls. Laser scanners, pressure sensors, and guards now lurk about every corner, the little robot shaking in his metaphorical boots.
>>
>>84986837

>On the other end of the room, Sticks is inconsolable, her Stand perfectly still, face in her hands.
>Dora: Sticks! WALL-E's stuck out there; we need your Stand!
>Sticks: I can't.
>Suzie: Of course you can, just activate your...planetarium.
>Sticks: You don't understand. I...I thought I was making the right choices here but then everything went off the rails! He wasn't supposed to do that! Him and WALL-E were just supposed to have a quiet trip back. We all had a good laugh about the whole thing after. But now he's...I can't do this. I can't fuck up like this again. I already got Pericles killed; I can't-
>In the midst of her breakdown, Dora gives the badger the single hardest slap across the face she can muster, near knocking the girl out of her chair, eyes wide open in shock
>"Get a grip on yourself, damn it! Crying over the professor isn't going to help anyone. WALL-E needs us right now. He needs YOU and your Stand right now!"
>"But what if-"
>"Stop saying that. The more you doubt your ability, the less likely it is that he'll make it back and what Pericles went through will have been for nothing. I'll admit, I don't know the ins and outs of your abilities but something with that many layers to it is bound to screw up eventually. It just happens; you can't blame yourself.
>"I'm scared Dora. I'm just terrified of what I'm seeing."
>"Then take that fear and use it to guide us to a better outcome. Please Sticks. We need you now more than ever."
>With a shaky breath and a nod, the badger begins to center herself, the aspects of her Stand beginning to turn once more, her mind trawling through the infinite expanse.
>>
>>84987130

>Out in the halls, WALL-E is freaking out over the sudden drop off in communication as well as the commotion going on outside.
>Suzie: WALL-E? Are you still with us?
>*relieved robot noises*
>"My apologies, zere was a bit of a...crisis of faith. Regardless, we have returned. I'm going to need you to follow zese directions to the letter, do you understand?"
>"Mm-hmm."
>"Right then. Wait for about 12 seconds from your position, then move forward along the far wall. Avoid the brown patch on ze ground; it is a pressure sensor."
>The robot counts down in his head as he watches the scene, the guard in the hallway reaching into his breast pocket and futzing around trying to get the last cigarette out of its box. The moment his head turns away, WALL-E counts 12 and peels out, nearly drifting over to the right wall and rounding the corner shortly after.

>"Good job. Now, here comes the tricky part. There will be a laser detection grid coming up in the next hallway. On my mark, I need you to tuck in and jump as high as you can at top speed."
>"Wha?!"
>"Admittedly, we are playing this one a bit by ear but I find little reason not to trust Sticks' judgement. Now go!"
>With a determination the little robot didn't know he had, he barrels forward, treads grinding against the floor before he tucks his arms and head unit as close as he can to his chassis, hydraulically leaping at Suzie's cue, the cube of his mass passing through a hole in the laser grid and just barely sticking the dismount before trucking forwards.

>Suzie: He's made it through without sounding the alarm.
>Dora: Just a couple more turns...
>Sticks: Guys, I'm going to need you to trust me for this next one. It relies on a lot of bullshit luck but it's the best shot he has.

>With just two turns left before the Psych Ward, WALL-E finds himself in the presence of Dredd once more, a slightly miffed expression on his face upon seeing the robot.

>"What are you doing out during lockdown?"
>>
>>84987401
>a slightly miffed expression on his face upon seeing the robot.
Wait, is that MORE miffed than usual? If so, WALL-E is in some serious trouble
>>
>>84987401

>Suzie: Mon dieu, that man gets around!
>Dora: All right, how bullshit are we talking?
>Sticks: Tell him to slowly open his compartment.
>Dora/Suzie: !!!
>Dora: Are you trying to get us made?!
>Suzie: Indeed, I believe ze fates may have misled you on this one.
>Sticks: Do you guys trust me? Because this is the best option we've got.

>Dora and Suzie share a concerned look while Sticks stays quietly optimistic. After a pause, Suzie relays the message. Back in the hall, WALL-E starts slowly lowering his compartment door, the unwashed grit on the edge of it coming to light as he does.

>Dredd: Eghhh. You ah, don't have to do that. Just get back to your area. [as he walks away] Fucking trash bots.

>Seeing the guard move past, WALL-E halts the gate, the slightest sliver of purple showing before he closes it and continues on to the ward.

>Suzie: My god, how did that work?
>Sticks: As much as Membrane doesn't like saying it, WALL-E's a trash compactor bot. More than likely Dredd assumed he was picking up a "package."
>Dora: Holy shit Sticks, you did it!
>"Yeah, guess I did, huh?"

>After about three minutes, the girls meet up with WALL-E in the reception area, map and backpack in tow.
>>
>>84885182
scans when for this ?
>>
>>84987558

We've got a couple of dedicated drawfags but we could always use more.
>>
>>84987504

>>Dredd: Eghhh. You ah, don't have to do that. Just get back to your area. [as he walks away] Fucking trash bots.

Just a reminder that Dredd doesn't use the usual swearing words as other characters. He would very likely to say "Drokkin' trash bot".
>>
>>84988088

Fuck, I'll make sure to fix that in post.
>>
All right, we've got the set-up for the excavation arc, we just need a good way to bridge it in.
>>
>>84990073
There's going to be some cool down time needed for the prison since the whole place is hot.

Dora and Suzie no longer have any business in the ward and are sent back to their cell in the normal prison while the ward is examined, nothing incriminates the group.

Inch High will need to come into play again soon within the next week of prison life and get information passed along to him. Dora decides after that that she needs more options of getting out of here than Penny.
We could use a scene with the Warden telling someone that Pericles is in a "better place" now, possibly while on the phone with Interpol who saw how parts of his prison are run. He should also review the ward and realize that Dora made the place exciting when she went there noting he was getting tired of waiting for that bird to make his move.

Wall-E probably hangs onto the backpack since Dora can't walk around with it as easily as a piece of paper.

I think Dora will get called over to Wong's table in the cafeteria by Wong himself to have a chat, but I don't know if the reason is because Wong is impressed Dora came back from solitary (none of the prisoners really bothered to find out where she really went after Dredd took her away), or that Dora is already on the excavation team.
>>
>>84990481

I'd say if anything, the brass blames Von Drake for the breakout but their hands are tied since he's already been committed.
>>
>>84991206
Yeah, they conclude that hole was there long before Bobby took charge.

They don't realize it's only been there for like a week since they assume the parrot spent his entire duration in that cell digging it.

What we really need now is a reason for Dora to get on the excavation team.

We could have her volunteer for it after being called over by Wong, or have the Warden put her on it after seeing how she made the Ward exciting, which causes Wong to call her over and explain some things to her.

Between the two, I'd rather have the Warden assign her to it rather than Wong put her up to it.
>>
>>84991335

This should be the point where the Warden starts manipulating the game, yeah. He'd probably use some loophole in the prison work program to have her remaining time commuted to the dig.
>>
>>84991770
Her three weeks in the ward are up, but since she was such a good worker, the Warden assigns her to the dig to see if her talents can be applied elsewhere.

How many expeditions should Dora be a part of? Do they make it all the way down to Dan on her first venture beneath the jail? Or is her first venture just through the human jails above the pillarman jails?
>>
>>84991971
I thought the first levels were already secured, they probably go all the way down to Dan's cell
>>
>>84992225
Yeah, the human jails are all already explored, excavated, and are currently being built into to hold more prisoners.

I'm just trying to see if there'd be an "interviewing" process or something similar to see how well Dora copes with being underground like this.

How many days should they be under the jail anyway? Only one day or will they need to camp out in some of the pillarman levels?
>>
>>84992310

The original dig was only set to be about 2-3 days long but it's the crew lucking out and hitting a new layer that extends the duration.
>>
>>84992853
[Glory Road] can be attributed to that.

So the Warden is the one who assigns Dora to the dig team, this causes Wong to call her over to his table.

How much information does Wong share with Dora over what he wants her to accomplish and what he promises in return?

The deal boils down to "bring me Dan and I'll let you come with me when I escape", but how does Wong word it?
>>
>>84993451

Thing is, she and Suzie already have Glory Road so why would they need Wong's aid in escaping?
>>
>>84993533
Having a small army acting as the security force of the prison would make the escape difficult even with the map, there is also Droopy, who can track them down wherever they go.
>>
>>84993533
Because [Glory Road] only gives you a map to where you want to go, not the means to get there.
>>
>>84993612

Fair enough. Given that the only gang members we've defined are Me-Mow, Di Lung, and Wong himself, it's a little hard to gauge their efficacy.
>>
>>84994659
Yeah, who else is in Wong's gang? I imagine most, if not all, of the prison work force in the dig group are members of his gang.

And Di Lung should call Wong "uncle" which may or may not annoy him.

They have no relation.
>>
>>84995899

Heh, subtle.

I just noticed something: We have frog people in the lower levels of the pillarmen prison, right?. Ethan claims that the sources of his meme magic are ancient (be it true or not), and Loss has SEVEN figures arranged in its four panels.
>>
>>84996980
Have a stone stature of Pepe's head which contains the mummified remains of Michigan J. Frog, a substance pours from the statue's mouth when not observed which will turn intruders into frog people.

They beat it by having Suzie places eyes all over the room so at least one of them is always watching it.
>>
>>84996980
Well, if we can keep the /pol/ memes to a minimum, then yes we could make some reference to Kek, but only as a cutaway gag...Dora asks who a carving is supposed to be of as the pass through the Egyptian layer of the prison, the foreman looks at it and tells her he hasn't foggiest clue.
>>
>>84995899

To be honest, there's been a worrying lack of Stand suggestions in the last few threads. Granted, it'd give us a chance to use some of the userless concepts floating in the doc but then they'd lose out on having a character that really fits with the ability except in rare situations.
>>
>>84997774
And there are also the character suggestions from the previous draft in the bottom of the doc
>>
>>84997774
I hadn't even noticed.

Probably because there's always more stands than we could ever possibly use and there's already a massive backlog of stands for part 6 from the old plot idea.
We have been slowly incorporating some of those into the new plot.

So, excavation team, who is on it?

It's being lead by Professor Trevor Bruttenholm.

Gameboy is the supervisor for the prison workforce.

Prison workforce on the dig team confirmed so far:
-Dora
-Suzie
-Di Lung
-Me-Mow

Who else?

The Gross Sisters from the Proud Family were suggested. I assume they're also part of Wong's gang and have been on many digs.
>>
>>84997995

We've got Mirage floating around on the doc and the excavation seems like something that might be up her alley, either as a way to weaken Wong's gang to gain some more influence or possibly an interest in the artifacts of the lower levels.
>>
>>84999738
I have no idea if she'd work for this though.

A bunch of characters were moved down to the re-revision section for a reason yet they keep getting different stands and appearing more than once through multiple old sections and up in the character list despite no role being given to them yet.
>>
>>85000612

Then I guess the best thing for us to do going forward is to take a comprehensive look through both Part 6's and the general Stand docs and see which can still fit the setting and overall mood. We've got to do something to keep this part from feeling too bare.
>>
>>85001418
So far it hasn't felt bare at all to me, it just needs an injection of the grand scopeness, the long plan, the light at the end of the tunnel.

With part 5 there was a clear objective to their actions, having that for the characters helps in keeping them moving.

Dora's objective: ESCAPE.
An objective we've been neglecting for the more urgent one of SURVIVE.

So now that Dora has the map, has reliable compadres, and also her stand, she needs to begin planning on how to get out. You'd think with [Glory Road] and Sticks that would be easy, but causality has decided to go butterfly wings bananas and Sticks can't get anything useful out of the other close by Stickses in prisons. Some say the Warden will blow up the jail, others say it will be flooded with gas, some say they'll be trapped in there for years, and more say they're looking at a wanker making out with a wombat and they don't know what is means.

The Warden wants to keep them all in, that's the only constant, how he does that seems to defy any predictable logic at the moment meaning they need to wait until things calm down significantly for Sticks to get a good look at what's coming. The only thing she can say with any certainty is that the Warden will be pulling off something big and awful soon*™.

That's too long for Dora who begins looking at other ways to get out.

This is around when Inch High shows up again since it's been close to a month and Dora leans it would still be some time before Penny could get her out. And now Dora has people she wants to escape with as well.

So, that's where we need to go from here. How do we make this work?
>>
>>84917535
I want more like this.
>>
>>85002086

This would be a good place for Trevor to explain part of the Panopticon to them and why the area beneath it is so valuable to the Warden. It gives them the first clues that the Warden's hi-jinks and general operation are hiding more secrets than they show.

>>85000612

Just because Wong is the big fish in the water right now doesn't mean everyone else is going to be up and on board for that. With the known mortality rate of the previous expeditions, it would make for a convenient place for her to start cleaning house.
>>
>>84996980

I don't know man. Tempting Kek is a dangerous play.
>>
>>85002508
Where exactly is Trevor explaining this at?

Well, true, there should be plenty in Wong's gang wanting to take over for themselves, I just don't want us to fall into too many patterns with every new character having a tenancy for backstabbing or grand plans. It was nice we averted backstabbing with Pericles since it went against expectations.

So Mirage in the excavation team as part of the prison workforce? What role is she playing? Do we have her die horribly? Because I'm pretty sure some of them are going to die horribly.
But if it happens too soon they'll go back up, so maybe the bodies don't start dropping until Dan is in play.
>>
>>85004341

I'd say he gives just a brief overview during the breakdown of their duties as part of the dig crew but when they start hitting the traps on the lower levels is when he starts going into greater detail. As for Mirage, she's part of the work program but really there for the sake of getting Wong away from the throng of his influence, hoping to take out the old bastard and anyone else she can. Could make for a great "Oh shit, he's not human" moment when he activates his MODE.
>>
When finishing Part One. I noticed that the epilogue was just about Aging Courage and Lydia. What about Beetlejuice, Samurai Jack, Shirley, and Hank?
>>
>>85005524
Uh, good question. We see Hank again in part 2, Beetlejuice reappear in part 5 and Samurai Jack is supposed to reappear in part 7. Shirley? No idea
>>
>>85004926
Wong's not on the dig team. He has minions to do that.

He reveals his status as a pillarman when they get Dan back up to the prison.

>>85005524
Hank doesn't need any mention in the epilogue since he's a main character in part 2. Beetlejuice is a ghost, that hasn't changed and isn't worth mentioning. Shirley is a minor character, so once she sends them on their way that's the end of her role. Jack just goes back to being Jack, we're going to revisit him in part 7 or 8 since between now and the time we were working on part 1 it was revealed that the new season of Samurai Jack will take place 50 years after the previous one, and our part 7 or 8 is right around having happened 50 years after our part 1.
>>
>>85005843
>>85005737
Okay. Starting Part Two now.
>>
>>85005970
While reading through the parts it's probably fun to notice when the writing style changes for certain sections or from part to part.
>>
>>85005843

Whoops, misread that then.
>>
>>85007403
I think the reason why Wong isn't doing it himself is because he knows if his status as a pillarman is found out he'll have a much harder time escaping.
>>
>>85005843
Jack is more likely to reappear in part 7 since the mask (or one mask) will appear again there
>>
>>85007276
>>85009394
>>85014040
I'm waiting on someone else to talk to me about the direction I'm suggesting the part go from where we are.

Sticks seeing butterfly wings bananas causality with the only constant right now at their branching point being the Warden is going to do something big soon that will doom them all should be motivation enough for Dora to get the breakout plan going.
>>
>>85014447
yeah, sounds good, but I'm not sure how long should be the excavation arc, they go all the way down to Dan's cell in one non-stop trip, or they camp somewhere in between each prison?
>>
>>85014796
Well, how long does climbing a decent sized mountain take? Now cut that time in half and then in half again since this isn't a frozen pillar of Earth's eternal ejaculation onto humanity.

They're going down, the prison topside looks like it's on top of a mountain because all these other jails are below it, and they get at least a third of the way down there just clearing all the human prisons built on top of the pillarmen ones.

So there's an industrial elevator that takes them at least one third of the way in the span of about 40 seconds (since I assume it is less than 80 floors beneath the jail).

Once they're on the bottom most human jail, they go deeper until they get to a big horrible stone door with carvings all over it. Trevor gives us some exposition and they go forward until the stone jaguar decides to make its appearance, to Trevor's mild annoyance.

But there's stuff to do even before we get to going down there.

Odds are a few days will go by from the time of Pericles' "death" to when Dora gets assigned to the dig team, to when they actually go down there.
>>
So where we are right now is the whole prison is on lock down.

The Ward goes under examination, everyone is asked questions, but not interrogated since Bobby won't allow it without probable cause. Everything points to Pericles acting alone. Suzie is sent back to her normal cell, Wall-E stores the backpack somewhere safe.

After a couple days things cool down enough for Dora and Sticks to talk without being overheard and Dora shows her [Glory Road], currently displaying a detailed map of the prison. Sticks does some diving and tells Dora that causality has gone butterfly wings banana and that every point is branching out so far apart from every other point from where they are right now that there's no clear way to escape with just their group's abilities. Sticks also tells her that something awful is going to happen sometime within the next couple of months and that the Warden will be the cause of their demise. This is a good enough reason for Dora to want to break out even more.

Dora is released back into the normal prison system and sent back to her cell the first day she was here with Suzie. It's a downgrade from the ward, but opens more options for planning.

Where should Inch High come back into play? I feel Dora passing along that information to him should be the catalyst that will cause the Warden to assign Dora to the dig team. The Warden gets a call from the prison backers who have somehow found out about the whole incident. Not sure what the conversation will entail, but it's basically the Warden brushing the whole thing off and that it was caused by their ward expert not doing his job properly. Von Drake having committed himself days before this incident cannot be held accountable so there's no one to punish for it.

After seeing the fun Dora caused at the Ward, the Warden wants to see if she's good for a repeat performance at another part of the prison he feels is stagnating.
>>
>>85016830
>I feel Dora passing along that information to him should be the catalyst that will cause the Warden to assign Dora to the dig team.
This. Once the footage of the incident is leaked to Interpol, they start asking questions and the Warden must accelerate his plan and increase the security measures in the prison to catch the informant
>>
>>85016923
The question is, how many days pass between the incident, Dora passing the footage along to Inch High, and the Warden getting that phone call?
>>
>>85017014
The first one I'm not sure, maybe a couple of days. After getting the footage, they make the call the day after if not the same day.
>>
>>85017069
How does Inch High get in touch with Dora again?

I mean the where and the when? Location is key in this since they're probably being watched by a camera from somewhere and their time will be limited since [Angry Inch] can only be used for so long until someone notices the video/audio feed not being right.

Also, has Dora kept wearing those lenses all the time for the past several weeks? That's probably not good for her eyes unless they're super special secret agent bullshit spy tech lenses designed for that.
>>
>>85017158

Hmm, that's a good point actually. Before he had the privacy of Solitary on his side. We could have him come by in the psych ward after all of the investigation dies down but it's a risky play.
>>
>>85019423
Maybe Dora spends some time in Solitary before being relocated to the normal prison, and during that time she contacts Inch High
>>
>>85020256
sounds good to me.
>>
>>85020256

Could work. The ward's intakes get moved to solitary during the investigation to make sure they aren't manipulating evidence.
>>
>>85020256
>>85020571
I don't think Bobby would allow people in his charge to be moved to a place with conditions like that.

It'd be an order from the warden, but Bobby would force the solitary level to be cleaned up and repaired if that's where they were being sent while the investigation happens.

Inch High could ask what Dora is doing back in solitary.
>>
>>85021794

It's out of his hands though. Most of the Ward's patients are considered too unstable/dangerous for General Population so solitary's the only place left.
>>
>>85021875
I expect Dora is only down there for a day or so since her time at the ward is up and Bobby has her released back into the general population.

She could also film the conditions the ward patients are now stuck with just to make the prison look even worse.
>>
>>85021926

It'd give them angle from a humanitarian perspective but not much otherwise.
>>
>>85022795
It's all part of building a case against the Warden.

Even getting Pericles' escape attempt on film isn't enough since it doesn't show what the Warden's ulterior motives are.
Footage of the shit under the jail will be more useful just to show the place is far more dangerous than anyone other than the Warden knew.
>>
>>85023112

Actually, the footage of the escape could make for a good way to try dissuading the various governments and security forces that came to depend on Belle Reve from the Warden's proposition. An escape attempt that loud and ugly is bound to shake their faith.
>>
>>85023925
That could be what pushes up the Warden's timetable for getting his big plan going.
>>
>>85024664

Right, the downswing in new inmates puts a massive damper on his STAR collection scheme and that's when the criteria for PI goes right out the window.
>>
>>85025292
One thing that's been nagging me is what is the Warden's interest in the stuff beneath the jail?

Is there something down there he knows is there and really wants? If so, what is it and how does he know about it?
>>
>>85025496
Originally, the excavation was just to expand the prison and therefore increase the inmate population but, perhaps, if the Warden even pays attention to Professor Trevor's findings, He may be interested in some of the ancient stuff down there to add it to PI

>>
>>85026050
I suppose that's a good enough reason since the Warden is always looking for new things to keep the prisoners "entertained" with.
>>
>>85025496

It's a wedding cake style progression of prisons going back to time unknowable and there seems to be some factor to them that's enhancing his abilities. It'd make anyone curious.
>>
>>85026691
How is it enhancing his abilities?
>>
>>85027019
I dunno, but there has to be a reason for why everyone and his grandma wanted to build a prison over Dan's cell
>>
>>85028236
Maybe it's a natural tuning fork for STAR energy?
>>
>>85028571
Hm, makes perfect sense. Plus it lets us set up a joke involving the Warden holding a tuning fork as a sight gag.
>>
>>85030313
Maybe all the way down on Dan's level, the chamber his cell is in is like a dead zone for STAR energy.

To counteract that, the space above the cell all the way up into the atmosphere allows for STAR energy to be more freely malleable, provided you can actually see how it flows.
It's not a power boost thing, but more like a focusing thing for those who can harmonize with it.

I dunno, I'm just tossing ideas around. The bottom most level being specifically designed to negate STAR energy in the small space that Dan is confined to within his cell could work for our purposes.
>>
>>85030889

So Dan's in the absolute nadir, designed as a Zero Room to keep him from having access to STAR and the buildings above it keep channeling it up and out, giving the Warden a concentrated reservoir of it.
>>
>>85032410
If we want to go with that, yeah.

It doesn't make any of the stand, style, or melody users any stronger, it just makes things more likely to happen.

Only the Warden is aware of its effect so only he is able to make use of it.

If Dora becomes aware of it, that could lead to how they beat him, or she could blow up Dan's cell to stop the STAR energy from being channeled up like that, though once the Warden has already supercharged PI, that probably won't do much to stop him.
>>
>>85032503

I'd say it has a sort of SURVIVOR-style effect on the inmates, knocking up their Development Potential a letter grade. The buff is there but it has to be properly understood.
>>
>>85032666
OK Red Guy. We'll go with that.

But just to be sure we're on the same level, any stands we've seen so far have not received this buff, they only passively benefit from a letter grade increase to their development potential.
They'd still be just as strong as they are right now if they were moved to any other location.

The effect remains even after Dan is let out of his cell since it's caused by the structure itself, not Dan being in it.
>>
>>85033221

That's fair, sure.

So the Warden is using this ancient pillarman architecture to boost the power of his [Pure Imagination], pushing it farther than he ever could've elsewhere, that's why the interior of it is so massive.

Pillarmen didn't have stands, but modes also made use of STAR energy, and so while it wasn't their intention to build something to negate or buff stands, it was still a happy accident for them since it negated all of Dan's abilities.

So how do they get Dan out of his cell without damaging the structure?

Does Suzie turn a wall of his cell int flesh and he walks out through an open mouth now in the wall?
>>
>>85034399
I think Dan's cell is not wholly integrated into the stack of prisons, there is a big shaft that separates it from the deepest pillarmen level
>>
>>85034509
I imagine Dan's cell is like the stone box he was imprisoned in at the end of the Tex Avery short, but in the middle of a large room.

The shaft leads down into that room where his cell is the only feature in the middle of said room. The "absolute nadir/Zero Room" as it was described further up put it.

The room the shaft leads to isn't in the dead zone, only the center of the room which is where Dan is encased in his cell.

They fight the caveman in the shaft leading down to the room.

Warden: "Oh, we've got a judge."
Dredd: "You creeps are guilty of mass manslaughter and criminal negligence! 80 years in the cubes!"

With this whole STAR energy tuning fork thing, I think I've almost got the cliff notes done for the excavation arc. Well, the cliff notes of the cliff notes anyway.

Dan is going to be a neigh unstoppable powerhouse once he gets out of his cell since he knows how to get the buff from the vortex of STAR energy located above his cell.
>>
>>84987504
Our next set of cliff notes:
>The Ward goes under examination, everyone is asked questions, but not interrogated since Bobby won't allow it without probable cause. Everything points to Pericles acting alone. Suzie is sent back to her normal cell, Wall-E stores the backpack somewhere safe. The rest of the ward inmates are relocated to solitary since they can’t have them interfering with the investigation. Bobby is not happy about this.

>While back in solitary, which is now being cleaned and repaired to make it livable at Bobby’s insistence/orders/authority, Dora gets another visit from Inch High. She passes the recordings she’s made using the contact lenses along to him, they contain the death of Pericles and other fucked up practices she’s observed as well as the living conditions of solitary.

>Dora and Sticks are finally able to talk without being overheard and Dora shows her [Glory Road], currently displaying a detailed map of the prison. Sticks does some diving and tells Dora that causality has gone butterfly wings bananas and that every point is branching out so far apart from every other point from where they are right now that there's no clear way to escape with just their group's abilities. Sticks also tells her that something awful is going to happen sometime within the next couple of months and that the Warden will be the cause of their demise. This is a good enough reason for Dora to want to break out even more.

>Sticks doesn't join the brojo squad, but uses Wall-E to convey prophesies to them. That way Sticks is still "there" and we have a reason for Wall-E to be following them around.

>Dora’s time assigned to the ward is up and rather than have her remain on the solitary floor, Bobby has her released back into the general population, back to sharing a cell with Suzie. It's a downgrade from the ward, an upgrade from the solitary floor, and opens more options for planning.

cont.
>>
>>85041258
>The Warden gets a call from the prison backers who have somehow found out about the whole incident. Not sure what the conversation will entail, but it's basically the Warden brushing the whole thing off and that it was caused by their ward expert not doing his job properly. Von Drake, having committed himself days before this incident, cannot be held accountable, so there's no one to punish for it. The Warden decides to accelerate his plan and increase the security measures in the prison to catch the informant.

>After seeing the fun Dora caused at the Ward, the Warden wants to see if she's good for a repeat performance at another part of the prison he feels is stagnating.

Then we'll be well and truly at the start of the excavation arc.
>>
>>85041123
And the buff from the vortex is also why the stone jaguar, crystal goop, frog people, and caveman were all hard as fuck to beat. They were getting a power boost the whole time.
>>

The STAR energy vortex really does feel like the missing piece to part 6. It really feels like it's coming together now and I can see how to do the final fight of it.
>>
/co/ is moving fast again right now.

So by eliminating all of the pillarman defenses, and thereby eliminating all of the others tapping into the power boost granted by the vortex, does that mean the Warden gets an even bigger power boost from it now?

Maybe that was his goal all along with the expeditions down there: get rid of anything else sharing the power boost.
>>
Hopefully the thread will make it through the night.

Maybe, if there's time, when Wall-E gets back from the dig Professor Membrane notices he's glowing with stand power and it plants the idea in his mind that machines can also have stands, even though Wall-E does not actually have one.
>>
>>85042671
>/co/ is moving fast again right now.
shit, and I gotta work early in the morning, so I can't bump the thread as usual.

Perhaps, unless someone else manages to tap into that power source, that also means that the Warden was actually paying attention to Trevor's findings.

>>
>>85042144
It will still leave a huge hole in the ground and the whole population of the prison will be presumed dead. What will happen when that source of power blows up? will it spread across the land/planet, leave a remnant in the bottom of the shaft, or it will just vaporize?

Or he's another version of Bane, most likely the one from BTAS, BTBAB or The Batman.
>>
>>85042144

Prisoner in the work program.
>>
>>85045491

It could have a sort of blossoming effect on the land around the prison since the structures keeping the STAR bound for millennia have been destroyed. It could serve as a plot point that some racers began developing Stands after that leg of the event.
>>
>>85043603

Stevens and storytimes.
>>
So, how would the Layers have kept Dan sealed away? I have some ideas for a few of the "active" layers:

>The frogs attack anything that gives off a big enough burst of STAR, that's about the same amount of energy that's given off when someone manifests their Stand (you thought those glowing auras were for show?)

>The liquid of the lake is attracted to Stands in a similar manner to ferrofluid, and the Jaguars have a more refined version powering their bodies.

I suggest with the maze, some of the segments have been jammed to due to the excavation work clogging their mechanisms.
>>
>>85048030
>he left the plane crashing business to become a lawyer and porn actor
>>
>>85049979
>There were no survivors.
>>
>>85043094
Yes, and the Warden was upset over the lack of progress Trevor was making.

>>85043233
Yeah, that's in the next set of notes.

>>85045491
It's in the notes for the excavation arc.

Sometime before or during the second pillarman level a stand jawbreaker that was still inside of Dora's backpack (which is inside of WALL-E) will get eaten by a cockroach which WALL-E adopts.

>>85049638
What kept Dan sealed away was his cell being built in the small area of the structure that's a STAR energy dead zone. None of the prisons built on top of him did anything to aid in keeping him sealed away (aside from keeping people out). Those prisons built on top of him were made by people who were mostly aware of the vortex and were taking advantage of the buff it gave to people using STAR energy to make the guards stronger.

>>
>>85053982
We might not need to go into the specifics of the wish, only that it monkey pawed her into jail and eventually this jail after it was built.

She probably wished to be the best cat burglar in the world or something, or to have amazing powers.

Finished Part Two.
A few instances where Amelia is called him by mistake.
I'm salty about Milo dying, so I give points to the writers in making me care.

Part 3 starts getting a little less dialogue focused, and part 4 has some shifts that could still use some working out.

We have an editor (I guess we can call him that) who has been going through the parts we get "done" with an embellishes them where needed. Not sure if part 3 has gotten that treatment yet.
>>
>>85056393
Alright, so she's currently working for Wong to further the cause of evil. That's a good enough motivation for her a guess, she's just in it to cause chaos.

Releasing Dan would stir up the world.

I don't think Trevor is aware of Dan, only Wong and people he sends down there are.

Dora might be informed that a person exists way down there, but Wong shouldn't tell her anything else about it. Dora could just assume he's after a mummy.

So Mirage sticks to Trevor since he's the one who has been able to make it the farthest down and has the best change of finding this place. She's probably planning to kill him as soon as Dan is free and I guess that's where Dora steps in to save Trevor.
>>
>>85056796

Wouldn't that motivation kind of clash with the order Wong's brought to the prison?
>>
>>85056796
If her Stand can rob moisture from creatures, She may dehydrate someone in the expedition and drive him to drink from the nearest source of water, aka the pool of crystallizing water

I feel she'd be more useful being turned into a frog person.

Also, we should split the sisters up so they aren't aware of their siblings' demises until there's only one left who gets shanked by Me-Mow when she tries to turn traitor and sabatage Wong's plans.

The Gross Sisters wanted to take over Wong's position as top prison dog, so their plan was to kill off his other underlings making it look like an accident while on the excavation. Mirage is wise to them since she was plotting the same thing and has them done in first when their gross incompetence at murdering anyone becomes apparent (really they just failed a bunch of times to get Dora killed since they thought she was Wong's new favorite).

Is Dora going to get marked by Wong's stand before the expedition gets underway?
>>
>>85059333

He doesn't mark her until after the expedition. Has to make sure Dora's worth his time after all.
>>
>>85059650
So she never gets marked at all.

The mark shows you're a member of his gang, but it's only afterwards do you find out that it's there so Wong can control you using pain.

The jail is probably in chaos by the time Dora, Suzie, and Trevor make their way back up.
Dan is running wild and seems far more powerful than your average stand user should be. First thing he'll probably do is eat everything in the food reserves.

Wong has to use a combination of his mode and stand to get the upper hand, they pretty much wreck the ground floor of the prison during their fight and the Warden just lets it happen because it's exciting.

There's some greentext that works in about here with Dredd reporting on the casualties.

RoboDale and Bobby begin fighting Wong after he's finally drained Dan.

Dora gets back and joins the fight as well.

Warden finally steps in since he doesn't want to deal with more information leaks.
>>
>>85063788

Are we still keeping the "Dredd goes rogue" subplot?
>>
>>85064359
That comes into play later when the Warden makes it clear he is going to use all of those stand jawbreakers, which is a very illegal thing to do.
>>
>>85064764

Ah, gotcha. It just seemed a bit odd that he'd still be up for the Warden's bullshit after nearly having the main level destroyed for shits and giggles.
>>
>>85066646
It was mostly superficial damage at best.
The Warden built the jail with stand users in mind, so if it couldn't take some punches then it wouldn't have been worth all the money he fleeced out of Strickland and Interpol to build the place.

Some demolished walls aren't enough to qualify as "destroyed" to the Warden.
>>
>>85066758

That perspective would explain why he wasn't expecting to lose support after the Pericles debacle.
>>
>>85067778
So once he has the map he cuts off communications completely with his benefactors since we won't need them for much longer.

He does not inform the staff of this.
>>
>>85068072

So that'd be the starting point of Penny's side chapter then.
>>
>>85068072
Not all communications, since there are elements inside Interpol and Strickland that sided with the Warden (Chane Wassanasong in Strickland, not sure who in Interpol)
>>
>>85068329

I'm honestly tempted to build Swiper as a Revolver Ocelot-style double agent.
>>
>>85068328
I guess it would.

Her focus is in trying to catch the Frizz and probably getting captured herself.
There's some blanks between there and her being the jail to repair RoboDale after he blows himself up trying to stop the Warden.

>>85068329
We'll need to have someone confronting that guy before this is all done and over with.

Wassanasong should be the one who keeps bailing the Warden out when the higher ups start to question him after certain incidents.
>>
>>85069148
The Interpol arc is basically a game of cat and mouse, where the Warden's army of guards, led by Frizzle, raids the Jawbreaker vaults around the world and Interpol must intercept them, while dealing with the corruption in their own ranks.

>We'll need to have someone confronting that guy before this is all done and over with.
It was suggested that Bobby kicks Wassanasong's balls.
>>
>>85069898
It might be after the jail is gone and Wassanasong is scrambling to get the fuck out of dodge (shoving papers into a briefcase), that's when Bobby appears and kicks him in the balls for messing up Strickland so much, then he takes over the reins and gets the organization back on track.
>>
>>85069993
I was thinking that he could travel to the prison to oversee the preparations for Warden's end game (he just says he is going in a business trip), that way, when the riot begins he can watch how the pinnacle of propane tech (Gameboy) gets wrecked by an old model (RoboDale)
>>
>>85070320
Sure, that works better.

Gameboy was probably something made under his era of leadership.
>>
Actually, I think it might be better if things get reorganized a little so that it isn't until after Wong has been fighting Dale, Bobby, and Dora that he finally drains Dan.

Right when it looks like Wong will be unstoppable, the Warden crushes him instantly and whisks Dora and Suzie off into [Pure Imagination].
>>
>>85068586
His Stand has to work off of the
Revolver Ocelot
Revolcer Ocelot
Revolver Ocelot

meme.

Maybe he projects himself 4 dimensionally, effectively making it look as if he is existing in various planes of existence?
>>
>>85070768
Im all for reworking the order of events to make it coherent.

As long as no events are deleted.
>>
>>85070851
I'm not deleting any events, if anything I think I'm expanding on the chaos Dan is causing before Wong kills him.

Mirage takes Trevor hostage in the chamber to force Dora and Suzie to free Dan, once he's free he powers up, is told by Mirage not to trust Wong, and Dan goes up top side, leaving Dora and Suzie to fight Mirage and possibly also Me-Mow and Di Lung who weren't there to see that betrayal.

They save Trevor and then head up.

Dan has already wrecked the ground floor and is busy stuffing his face with all the food while Wong wants to have a word with his "brother in darkness" only to get told to fuck off when the implication of the fruit is brought up, starting their fight. Then Bobby and RoboDale get involved. It turns into a battle royal that seems to be stalemated until Dora aids them, this is when Wong goes after Dan in earnest who probably became distracted by some oh-so-pretty red haired lady somewhere.

Wong has to drain him after a chase and a lot of bullshit before getting that big power up, then the Warden crushes him easily. Dora and Suzie are sucked into PI, and that's the end of the prison break attempt.

Well, those are some of the alterations I'm proposing to the event order.
>>
I think I've got a pretty good outline for everything before we get to PI now.

We just need to polish it a little more and also write it all out.

Here is my take on it:
A Stand that allows him to split into X autonomous projections, when one of these projections is defeated, it disperses and reabsorbed into the remaining copies. This allows him to keep fighting as long as one copy remains unharmed, to defeat him all copies must be destroyed in quick succession.

>>85072674
Now the problem is keeping the thread alive until the morning, at least.
>>
>>85072847
At least this thread has been going well enough.

The ward arc is very close to being done and the excavation arc is more or less plotted out now, along with the beginnings of what comes after it.

That gives me an idea for part 8: Ethan appears as a faceless guy in a business suit (like Diavolo) when relaying info to the protagonist, before revealing himself as the leader of the Church of Gaming (attired as a high priest).

Now, hopefully this bump will last till the morning

I feel like posting this image would be a mistake given the directions we've taken to make part 6 viable for story telling, but I'm too tired to care right now and want to bump with an image.

I also won't deny the only reason why I even suggested Me-Mow for this part is because this image made me remember that she was in a prison outfit and in jail and at the time we needed a female inmate while trying to use more characters who had been to prison in their source material.

Gotta think about how to kill her off now. Maybe... hmmm. Well stick with this line of reasoning for a bit as my tired mind works this out.

Mirage can dehydrate people, yeah? And Me-Mow can shank a person, then wait a while before they start bleeding and the amount of time she waited is the amount of time the bleeding will refuse to stop for?

So what if Mirage tries to kill Me-Mow for some reason after Dan is out and gone up while they're still in his old chamber fighting Dora, Suzie, and Trevor? Me-Mow stabs her and seems to die, but pulls the blade out in the middle of the fight and re-hydrates using the blood constructs formed from Mirage's blood as she bleeds out?

But then I'm back to her getting killed. Or maybe not getting killed? It brings me back to my problem of introducing characters at the beginning of an arc just to have them die, what is what is happening with the Gross Sister and Mirage, but averted with Trevor.

I feel like Me-Mow's stand power could also be used to counteract the chi-blocking power of Wong's mode somehow. Like medical bleeding or something? Or getting the stuff Wong puts in his victims out of them?

>>85074576
I need sleep.
>>
>>85075773
If I remember correctly, Me-Mow is getting cuffed to Suzie by Di-Lung, but that was before Mirage entered into play

>I need sleep.
same here
>>
>>85072847

That actually works off of his original canon seeing as there's actually a network of Swipers.
>>
>>85070809

I'll be musing on this while I'm at work then.

>>85071363

So Mirage fakes a RETIRE, using the healing water to get back to some kind of capacity, offs the already ailing Me-Mow and Di Lung and usurps their positions in Wong's hierarchy. Once the old man gets his shit pushed in, she'll be exactly where wanted.
>>
>>85075770

What healing water? I don't recall that being mentioned anywhere in this part.

>>
>>85084475

I keep forgetting, but is Wall-E also involved in the excavation group?
>>
>>85085177
I keep forgetting that too.

Yes, he goes down with them and comes back up with them. There's also the cockroach that eats a stand jawbreaker that falls out of Dora's bag which he adopts.

The cockroach's stand will be damn useful in PI for mending the minds of those who have gone through the pain of consecutive re-spawns like Pericles and Inch High.
>>
>>85085301

Oh yeah, I forgot about the pinball machine. When does he discover Inch High anyway?
>>
>>85085779
Shortly after the Warden's fake/clone/copy/"thing which his mind is inhabiting that looks like him and is made out of PI within PI" (because fuck if I know what to call a Warden within the Warden's stand made out of the Warden's stand being directly controlled by the Warden which is both the Warden and not the Warden at the same time).

ANYWAY

Shortly after the Warden's eyes almost shoot through the map the first time he sees it and he's pouring over it while Dora and Suzie are helpless to get it back from him, Inch High appears on the Warden's shoulder, takes a picture of it, and gets swatted like a bug for his troubles in a gore-y fashion.
>>
>>85085987

A matroyska? An alter? Avatar maybe?
>>
>>85086762
Just think of it as a solid hologram that the Warden is moving around with his mind and speaking through.

After Inch High's blood slides off of him, he dumps Dora and Suzie somewhere in Superjail then extends a leg super long and with a single step is on top of the watch tower, which also has a giant golden Warden head on top of it.

This is why they'll try to get to the watch tower, and really, everything about PI is confusing, but we already have a lot of stuff for the beginning parts of it that are starting to take form, so more about that when we're actually on that part.
>>
>>85085106
Mirage dehydrates Me-Mow, Me-Mow shanks her and causes Mirage to bleed out, re-hydrating herself with Mirage's blood, Mirage heals herself?

What level does Di Lung finger trap people together on? Would it be so they can't shake a member of Wong's gang in a situation that forces them to split up?
>>
>>85088194

Heals herself and then probably has her Stand mash Me-Mow's knife for good measure. ROSE is a punch ghost after all.
>>
>>85088637
Alright, so does this happen after Dora, Suzie, and Trevor beat Mirage, Me-Mow, and Di Lung?

>Reach Dan's chamber
>Mirage takes Trevor hostage to force Dora and Suzie to free him
>Dan's free, Mirage warns Dan about Wong because she just wants to cause chaos, Dan goes up top
>Me-Mow, Di Lung, Gameboy, and Wall-E arrive?
I'm not sure how we get to the fight from here.

>The members of Wong's gang think the plan was a success and plan to use Gameboy to get back up topside quickly while Trevor is still a hostage

How do they get Trevor free? Why do Mirage and Me-Mow fight?

I guess Gameboy kills Di Lung? He is a murder machine after all.

Once only Dora, Suzie, and Trevor are left they ride Gameboy like a rocket ship back up to the jail.

There's some problems with this set up. Any ideas?
>>
Are we still going with the idea one anon had to show one chapter from the prison staff's point of view? I'd really like to see something with Skarr, his Stand is sick.
>>
>>85088912

The infighting would take place after they get stopped by Dora and Suzie, probably using [Boots] to keep them from forming up or Slug Bait to form muscle around their ankles, binding them to the ground.
>>
>>85089192
Where does it fit in?

Is it the same guard we overhear a portion of when Pericles and WALL-E are in a vent?

Is that when what they overheard is going to make sense?
>>
>>85089836
Yeah, but why would they turn on each other?

The only thing I can think of is Mirage tires to take further advantage of the situation while Me-Mow and Di Lung have their backs to her and dehydrates Me-Mow.
She does this since "one less member of Wong's gang". The only reason why Trevor is still breathing is because Gameboy has now arrived and he's leverage to keep Gameboy from killing her.
>>
>>85091181

Mirage never intended on coming back with them, more than likely. Di Lung getting offed by Gameboy was a happy coincidence and Me-Mow's already spent from the last fight. She's playing the long game.
>>
>>85092419
Alright, so Dora and Suzie are on the dig team because it amused the Warden.

Me-Mow and Di Lung are on the dig team because they work for Wong.

The Gross Sister are on the dig team because they work for Wong, but they want to kill off all of the other members to weaken Wong's gang so they can be the top prison dogs.

Mirage is on the Dig Team because she works for Wong, but is plotting to kill off the stronger members of his gang and take over for herself.

The Gross sisters try offing Dora first during the stone jaguar fight, Mirage watches their efforts and determines keeping Dora alive for longer is a better move.
Mirage is the smarter of the two plotting groups and the Gross Sisters get offed first.

The maze is below the stone jaguar level. Once it's beaten Dora grabs Suzie and makes a mad dash in the direction Trevor went (maybe he's singing opera to mock/let them know where to go) since she doesn't want to be near Gameboy. Di-Lung finger traps Me-Mow to Suzie since that forces Dora to keep her near Trevor.

Mirage, Di Lung, and the short Gross Sister are now with Gameboy (the other two are trying to catch up with Trevor). Mirage dehydrates the short one while Gameboy is distracted.

Elsewhere, Trevor explains to those with him that the water in the maze will turn you into crystal, Mirage is already aware of this since it isn't her first dig. Short Gross sister is now dead via crystallizing water.

Eventually they all meet back up on the next level down.
>>
>>85093045

Should they break to collect their dead or was that just part of the waiver?
>>
>>85093727
The stone jaguar failed to kill any of them.

There's no dead to collect with the first Gross Sister since she shattered.

The next is the big Gross Sister who gets turned into a frog person, then the medium one gets shanked by Me-Mow for refusing to fight her now attacking monster sister.
>>
>>85093845

Ah, forgot about that.
>>
>>85087000

Would they still have a means of contacting Sticks by this point?
>>
>>85096544
I'm still deliberating on if Sticks also ends up in PI or not.

Where would she be of better narrative use? Inside PI with Dora or in the main jail with Bobby?

The Warden could see her power as a "party pooper" power that will ruin the surprise for everyone and toss her into PI for that when he starts getting jawbreakers, or possibly sooner.

It's an issue up for deliberation is what I'm saying.
>>
>>85097392

Hard to say. The naturally chaotic nature of PI renders her abilities mostly moot so she wouldn't be too useful on either end. Then again, it would make sense for the Warden to toss her in there after learning about her Stand since it'd keep Dora from being interesting.
>>
>>85098562
He doesn't toss her in there until after Dora is already in PI, and that's if we go with him tossing her in there at all.
>>
One doubt that has been me nagging about the character of Prof. Bruttenholm is that it was suggested he should have a Stand that would assist him in avoiding traps. Is that a still a thing or he should be a Standless character?

>>85098562

So Sticks ends up there, it would make Dora and Suzie to go on their ways to rescue her, right? Also, another thing, does Wall-E end inside PI along with them?
>>
>>85098726
Trevor (as I will never be able to remember the correct spelling of his last name and looking it up every single time is too much of a bother) has a stand that resembles Hellboy, his deceased son.

His bitterness comes somewhat from the death of his son many years ago, it's also one of the reasons why he and Bobby are close since Bobby helped him through some very dark times in his life.

I'm not sure what this Hellboy looking stand does though.

And Wall-E would get sent into PI alongside Dora and Suzie, just because he got caught in the grabbing process by proximity.

Trevor probably has some robots with him from the Strickland foundation, but they probably get trashed fighting the frog people.

>>85103291

>>85102825
There's a huge backlog of stands for part 6 on the doc from the old draft.

We have all these stands from the old draft that need to be re-reviewed if we actually get them back into the part.

And then there's the Gross Sisters, I guess all three of them need stands.
>>
>>85098847
>>85098726

Probably a trap disabling stand/pseudo puncghost.

By that, I mean that although it does have respectable strength, only the right hand is strong. This puts Bruttenholm at a disadvantage when he gets caught by surprise in fights, but can sometimes work in his favor if he can plan.
>>
>>85104505
So the right hand reaches through the walls and grabs the gears to stop traps before they trigger?
>>
>>85104551
Maybe the left hand does something like that?

Intangibility is hardly something novel for Stands. But maybe it can get a "feel" for how the trap works. And of course, how Trevor can come around to finding out how to disable it
>>
>>85104690
I didn't mean to imply that was the stand's ability, just how he uses it to evade traps.
>>
>>85104919
that makes sense
>>
I feel like we've stalled a bit right now. Probably because I'm used to sections of this part being written in large chunks by the current writer and it's been a few days now.

We've made a lot of progress with outlining the excavation arc during this time and also what comes immediately after it.

It still doesn't feel like progress even though it is, and it's all on the doc to show that it is there waiting to be filled in.

I don't want to keep moving forward right now without what's currently more-or-less stable and waiting to be filled out to actually be in the process of being filled out.
Mainly because I had a look at part 3 after that anon mentioned it and a lot of that really didn't get filled out, and I know parts 4 and 5 also have the same problem.
And despite knowing someone is on it, or is going to be on it (I hope), it still makes me hesitate a bit to keep pushing forward right now.

And we're also about five posts away from bump limit in this thread.
>>
>>85105781
>and I know parts 4 and 5 also have the same problem.
Not really, both parts were filled more than part 3 (specially 5), except for what is outlined in the to-do lists at the beginning of each part

>And we're also about five posts away from bump limit in this thread.
Shit, just in the dead hours
>>
>>85106038
Part 4 has these.. sort of shifts in it where it goes from being very detailed to very bare bones. You can tell which parts of part 4 anons actually wanted to work on since anything that's not written out in lengthy detail were the parts I had to fill out since no one else wanted to do it.

Part 5 was at least 70% my doing when it came to filling it out, my lack of ability when it comes to dialogue is the main shortcoming with part 5 in my mind.

I'm really hoping Grey Predders will give part 3 the editing/embellishing treatment he gave part 2.

And yeah, this is one of the worst times of day for us to be approaching bump limit here.
>>
Stalling when we're 2 or 3 posts away from bump limit isn't going to help us any. It's still going to reach it at the peak of the dead hours.

What else do we need to work on before the excavation arc? If we're doing that side thing from the perspective of a guard, it'll have to be before then.
