well, between modern amethyst and rose quartz, it would probably be something more wild. but since a fusion between amethyst and rose herself is impossible, i went with mashing their old tones together (rose's strong femininity with amethyst's childishness). here are my notes from when i had posted the first version in an earlier thread:

i tried to make concept art for a rose × amethyst fusion (kunzite). rebecca sugar said that fusions are supposed to be "the space between two individuals", and i imagined that rose and amethyst's pseudo mother and daughter relationship was very cutesy and innocent, which is what made me go with the tea party/lolita theme. plus, according to crystalvaults.com, kunzite is associated with:

>sleepless babies and over-active children (amethyst was probably even more of a wild child before she had time to adjust)
>children having a hard time adjusting to and functioning in life (amethyst has tons of self doubt issues and probably took some time to get used to being with the other gems)
>young or first-time mother and for all single mothers (rose presumably must've felt somewhat motherly during time after finding amethyst)
>Kunzite is often called the Woman's Stone (rose was obviously a whole lotta woman)
