I...actually agree. It's potential was incredible though. Fialkov got the universe and clearly appreciated it. It was coming out the same time as All-New Ultimates and the USM arc where Peter was back to life so it seemed a LOT better.

Yeah, in Millar's run you see them put covers on his goat legs and when he went in they were on. My guess is this is a different Doom and a different Zombieverse, especially since by killing these zombies he makes it so that the Zombieverse can never come to be due to the timeloop with Sentry.

It's pretty strange how this series dealt with something so similar to the Incursions, and yet weren't.

Anyway, this could have been an amazing series if Marvel hadn't saddled it with such shit art. Fialkov truly had a multi-year plan that I would have loved to see come to fruition.

Did anything from this series ever get brought up again, at all? Didn't Reed go right back to being The Maker or whatever?

Art aside I really liked this series and was disappointed after hearing it basically got downgraded to a miniseries, but I guess at that point the Ultimate Universe was gonna be trashed anyways.
