I know there's at least one episode where Marco goes to Mewni (I know there's Diaz Family Vacation and Storm the Castle, but those episodes mostly took place outside the city.) No offense but you're pretty dense if you think the seeds for Starco endgame material haven't been planted by this point. Your logic is based on the idea that Marco having the hots for Jackie similar to Star having the hots for Oscar as testament to Starco not canonically being able to see the light of day. When the matter of fact is that Marco has never once had a meaningful discussion with Jackie nor has Star with Oscar. Saying they have different crushes mean absolutely nothing.

Scenes of Mewni are pretty rare, so there were only a handful of episodes she could have been from, which made narrowing it down a little easier.

If it was a background qt for earth, it'd probably be harder to remember her. The only reason I remembered so quickly was the screencap included the calzone which only was mentioned once in the show.

What we're doing right now is how the gravity falls fandom got to solve pussles. Neither of the shows are "smart". If something Star vs. Is somewhat more cryptic because its not showing a picture of a cypher right in your face every episode for 5 seconds+ like gravity falls was.

Well if you want to view it that way, that's fine. We discussed this sort of thing in the live threads and the end result was almost always 'we don't have enough information to make a sufficient conclusion, thus it is pointless to discuss any further.'

You could say it's evidence for Star traveling back in time in a planned future episode, but it's very weak evidence. Perhaps if you're dedicated to the theory you could find some other potential clues that would point to the same thing, until then it's just a theory.

Again, Gravity Falls was made with mysteries and hidden clues ingrained in the show. Star vs. doesn't seem to share that idea, Daron certainly hasn't said anything to that effect which has to be taken into consideration when trying to find these sort of ideas.

The problem with your analyses up to this point is that you're thinking in absolutes only. This is an issue because you're looking for evidence that won't sustain your case in any way. You're only exacerbating it too by cherrypicking and only looking one direction instead of both (as you even admitted they had something going on with BMB but still right after chose to ignore it as proof anyway.) The only hard evidence you seem to lean onto is basically a straight out confession of romantic feeling that isn't Starco. Yet the two having crushes on different people isn't suddenly evidence Starco will never happen for a myriad of reasons you could figure with half a brain.

There's also such a thing as show elements pacing themselves.

You can interpret this to be as platonic as you want, but the same way you can do that, you can't deny what happened under Blood Moon Ball. Having two souls binded for eternity, even if as friends, is a lot more damning as romantic evidence than relationships with crushes that may as well never have advanced past a "hello."

Of course it seems I'm one of the few people who I laughed out loud at the pudding joke the first time I saw it, so take that into account when considering the value of my judgement, I suppose.

Well it's fine to interpret things differently, in fact I welcome it as that's what harbors discussion, especially during this long hiatus. What I would say is that there are just a number of jokes throughout the series that are out of place, they may not have an actual setup, they may not have fit the scene or they may not have been explained. I personally think the examples brought up in the previous posts fit into these categories, they stand out to viewers as they aren't particularly good or just seem odd.

Take the pudding joke for example, you can watch that again and somewhat understand the joke. Star offers Marco something good, he says something which could be taken as looking down on her and as a result she slaps the pudding out of his hands in a rather passive-aggressive manner, given Daron's confirmation that Star was mad. There's structure to the joke, it's just not particularly very good, neither is the delivery. It's a miss for a lot of viewers, whilst others may like it for whatever reason. Either way you can make the some observation for other jokes in the series with varying results, the rug joke being another one on the poor side and the calzone joke on the good side depending on how you interpret the setup and delivery.

Personally, I haven't been looking forward to BvS: though I didn't find MoS so outrageous as many others seem to, I still didn't particularly enjoy the kinda bleak (and more than a little bit sanctimonious) tone.
Also, I don't like in general the dark, de-saturated esthetics of nowadays movies — and to me if feels out of place especially when superheroes are concerned.
That said, I can't afford movie-going anyways, so I guess my opinions on the subject matter are pretty much moot, in the end.

I liked it though. I thought the message wasn't the worst, but just horribly implemented. It was the only truly offensive thing about Roadside Attraction and everything else being ignored in favor of that is sad to me. It wasn't as bad as The Love God because that episode was just all around bad, even the B-plot with Stan wasn't interesting at all, yet everyone acts like it is.
