That's the joy of being a cartoonist, people pay you for your scribbles.
I can't tell if this a LOL thread imported from /v/ or a stealth Inside Out generalI will think it's the latterJoy a best
Vote for your five favorite titles from the list, then post your results here:
http://strawpoll.me/6455337
This is the fifth day I'm postin this. We'll see how many votes will come in today and depending on it it might be the last or I'll pull it one or two days max more.
To keep the thread up post the titles you voted for and comment on other's tastes. Or post cartoon boobies.
More cartoon boobies pls
>steven universe is winning
/col/ btfo
>No Star vs
Shit poll, will not vote.
>>78822330
I'm not sure about the limits and what will get me banned. Would posting a naked character that covers their nipples be fine?
>>78822421
Oh, forgot to post that. But this is based on a thread in which people were supposed to choose five titles they like in general. The ones with the most votes got into the strawpoll. Your show just didn't cut it.
Over-representation of lesbians might be happening in this era of cartoons, but it's hardly a force.
Steven universe lesbians is integral to the alien nature of gems and gem society, its a classic move that was used by the old pulp science fiction writers -"It's a matriarchy planet!"
Adventure time lesbians was just a happy accident of a writer realizing that the only two sane thousand year old characters in a setting would have some history.
Thoughts?

need more manhomos
>happy accident
>not shoehorning
im being "trolled" huh
I think you need a bit more than two examples if you want to talk about over-representation.
>Every heir must be forged in the fires of solitude
>The splitting of paths
Wonder how she's gonna fuck up this time. Maybe accidentally destroy the entire palace.
>>78820479
>Maybe accidentally destroy the entire palace.
Accidentally?
She has the Key of Kings in her head, and it's been RESPONDING to her. Heck, in the last two comics alone, the thing is surging with light every time she looks sideways at somebody.
Allison has a lifetime of self-esteem issues, apparently a bit of a drinking problem, and I shudder to think what she did to shed her adolescent pudge.
She's a vast, yawning well of anxiety, self-loathing, and simmering rage at a world she just doesn't 'get'.
And she just got access to INFINITE COSMIC POWER.
She just might evaporate that castle, with Mottom in it, in a fit of "FUCK YOU UNIVERSE!"
This is looking to be fucking epic, to say the least.
Or, conversely, she might flame out and wind up pathetically moping in Cio's pad. Who fucking knows?
I can usually sort of tell where a story is going, but this glorious ride, who knows man, anything could happen. :)

I watched Ant-Man again for the first time since it was in theaters and I was surprised how much more I liked it this time around - definitely one of the best of phase two.

>A new set of Captain America: Civil War hoodies, hats, and t-shirts debuted on Merchoid.com today, adding to the already announced Captain America hoodie. There are obvious "Team Cap" and "Team Stark" (though it's a little weird to refer to one by code name and one by last name) t-shirts, some split-head apparel with half of each character, and some Cap's shield leggings.
There's also another listing, though, for "Spider-Man: Premium Hoodie" (though they forgot the hyphen - it's cool, we fixed it, guys). The hoodie itself isn't much of a surprise, as we know that Spidey is coming in the film.
In the full description for the individual item, though, they may have revealed when some kind of first look for Spider-Man's appearance in Civil War is coming, as they say they'll be able to show it on January 15, 2016.
"Ok, so here’s the deal: we have photos of the Spider-man hoodie coming very soon. We really, REALLY want to show it to you now, but we’re not allowed to just yet. Make sure you check back on the 15th January for your very first look!"

WHERES BLACK WIDOW?!?
>>78817945
i don't really know what to expect, its going to be a spider man suit, just like TASM 2 was and the ones before it, i want to be hyped but its difficult
Honestly, after how good the ASM2 suit was, I'm worried about this one. With the exception of the emblem that suit was perfect. Where can they go from there? There's no way they'd just reuse that design with a more classic looking Spider emblem, or anything.
Excited for the Luke Cage series, /co/?
Not really, it;s not going to be as campy as it should be.

Depends, is he gonna be soft, or is he gonna be a Hard Nigga
>>78815871
Which villains is he going to have?
>AMC’s Preacher pilot is an ultra violent, shockingly witty, heightened reality tale of supernatural mayhem in a West Texas town — and it’s very different from the infamous gleefully blasphemous trope-busting comic that it’s based on.
>“I don’t know that you could translate it directly [from the comic],” said executive producer Seth Rogen (yup, that Seth Rogen). “Everybody involved felt we should not — including [comic creator Garth Ennis].”
>“We’re fans of the comic,” Rogen continued. “We love the comic. We’re going to make a show we like, so we hope that that translates to people that love the comic as well. But our first and foremost goal is to make a great, entertaining, fun television show that if you never heard of the comic book, you love. We want the show to be fun for regular people without sick sensibilities.”

I fucking hate that piece of shit talentless hack.
>>78814503
That sounds fucking awful. Someone should bomb AMC so they stop raping good comics.
>>78814503
I wish Seth Rogen would fade into obscurity faster. The only thing of value he's done is this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O29A_0quGLQ
so did this series made an impact or it was quickly forgotten and accepted as ''meh''?
>>78812790
I fucking hated it by the end of it, so I rather forget it ever happened.
It still hurts.
Killing the Purple Man was the biggest bullshit I've ever seen.
>>78812790
Women and homosexuals love it.
Men think it's meh.
Started gritty, quickly became stale and wallowing in slef-pity. I basically resented JJ by the end of it.
What the fuck happened?
Suddenly the show was named Steven Universe?
>>78812470
What's the name of the cartoon to the left of Thundercats? The King and girl look familiar
>>78812470
70's was largely produced in America and as such designed to be as minimalist and simple as possible for cheap production, while operating under the idea of "kids don't give a shit about quality."
80's was largely produced by Japanese studios but followed Western designs.
90's was the same, but hearkened back to old designs because retro was in, and American companies had more direct oversight of what the Japanese studios did.
2000's was an extremely chaotic period of anime influences, traditional holdouts, and experimentation with flash and honestly I don't blame Harry for skipping over that decade.
2010's is produced in Korea and has far more direct input than ever before, and has fallen into a new, overall rounder style that emerged at the end of the 2000's chaos.
Why did the cartoon hint this ship heavily?
She looked WAY better with the longer hair
it didn't at all
it was just an invention by emo teenage girls that identified with raven and wanted a perfect gary stu boy to love them

Russo Bros. on MCU Spiderman
>“We took a very personal approach to the character,” explained Joe Russo. “He was my favorite character growing up, so the opportunity to bring Spider-Man to the screen is a dream come true. It's something that I spent a lot of time thinking about as a kid. We had thought back to the things that excited us about him as a character when we were younger, and one of the most important components of that was that he's a high schooler burdened with incredible powers and responsibility. That really differentiates him from every other character in the Marvel universe as opposed to other superheroes. For us, it was extremely important that we cast somebody very close to the age of a high school student. The previous films had adults playing a high schooler. We wanted more of an authenticity to the casting. We were very specific about that. We wanted an energy and charisma from the character, an energy, but also an insecurity that would make him fun to watch in contrast to the confident superheroes.
>It was also important to us that the actor that was cast feel contemporary because the other films that portrayed where he lived is more... they honored the comic books in terms of the choices. But you go look at the home that Tobey Maguire lived in in Raimi’s Spider-Man was... those were very expensive homes. We wanted to relate it to the reality…”
