What are the best comics featuring Catman?

Secret Six.

Gail's Secret Six or bust. The original, don't really know how the rebooted version has been faring.
Arkham Asylum is the best Arkham game Rocksteady made.
Sure, you got an improved version of Freeflow combat and open world in the sequels, but Asylum excelled in atmosphere, truly immersing you on the claustrophobic nightmare that was Arkham. The writing was much stronger (not as good as Origins though), as it wasn't bogged down by a billion subplots and Joker's role as a main antagonist felt organic instead of forced fanservice. Voice acting was overall stronger as well, with Conroy giving a much stronger performance than in City and Knight (especially City), Sorkin as a less annoying Harley Quinn, and without any stunt castings like in Knight.
The combat may not be as refined but that's part of the fun, as instead of having access to a dozen of finishing moves, coming on top is all about skill and resourcefulness.
The designs are all much better too. I've never been a huge fan of the Arkham series' darker and edgier aesthethics but Asylum's designs were much more faithful than the ones from the sequels, and the database had some pretty good ones for characters that weren't in the game (I much prefer Asylum's Catwoman over City's bastardization of Cooke's design).
What do you think? Do you agree with me or do you prefer one of the sequels?
Now when I think of it, I didn't like boss fights on second playthrough.
It's more contained, certainly. I personally like City better, and open world might have something to do with it.
It's a better game because all these non-gameplay aspects were better while the gameplay was worse?
Say what you will about Snyder, his visuals are not matched.
Batman will be fighting Superman, how are you not hyped?
>>78829464
>how are you not hyped
But I am?
Last trailer was poorly made though.
Because visuals mean shit without good writing.
>>78829464
>Batman will be fighting Superman, how are you not hyped?
Because it'll be two quick skirmishes and then fuck all against Doomsday. Pfft.
Most superheroines would look better with a fully covering costume. Do you agree or disagree?
No SJW discussion here please, this is just a thread about design.
>>78828467
I wouldn't say most, but certainly more than there are now. Batgirl III is best Batgirl. Cassie turned to shit later, but for a while in the mid-aughts she was the best bat-character around. The costume was a big part of why, it fit her character, history, personality, etc well
>>78828467
I kinda agree. For superheros/ines especialy those who don't have powers a practical suit is important.
For example the Huntress outfits who show skin. You run by a fence in the wrong angle and your costume rips apart or your stuck. Not the best condition in a fight.
Another point might be that full cover costumes imply that the heroine doesn't just rely on her female charm but that might be highly subjective.
>>78828467
Yeah but I think costumes need more diversity.
>Reading the very first script for Raimi's Spider-Man
>mfw
And you guys think it's campy as it is. It was almost Schumacher level.
YOU MESS WITH ONE OF US, YOU MESS WITH ALLLLL OF US
Got any good excerpts to post?

Lewd~
This guy is the most mentally unstable character to have ever been on cartoon network
I know, isn't it great? Guy's a fucking sociopath with self-esteem issues and a fragile ego.
>>78827525
That's what makes him a shit character. I like the original Robin instead.
>>78827379
>>78827567
Hes arguably best character for these reasons, next to Raven..
He was a generic young hero in the 03 titans.
Unpopular opinion/shit taste thread
>DC has the best line-up of ongoings it's had in more than a decade.Which will probably come to an end soon.
>I've enjoyed all of the MCU films and shows. None of them have been terrible (and very few of them have been great) and I can find something to enjoy in each one.
>Same with the Star Wars movies, the prequels were just 6/10
>JaneThor is a good concept and has great art. It could actually be a good series if it'd stop trying to be political.
>Silk and NuBatgirl are enjoyable series.
I never really liked Azula.
>>78826667
Whoa there, buddy
>>78811662
I think it would be pretty funny if Donald Trump becomes president.
HE STINKS AND I DON'T LIKE HIM
Just saw this movie on tv the other day.
Never noticed that cameo until then.
>>78826522
tss Does he have a lot of packages to deliver or sumpton? tss
Geez. Someone musta heckled him in a Spider-Man costume.
>it's a new mysterious person using an old identity plot
>>78825996
Well, is she?!
Can someone explain to me what the motivation behind this is? No one actually believes that Danny Rand is gonna be Daredevil longer than a few months or whatever. Do they think we're gonna buy purely on seeing a different character's word sin the speech bubbles?
Of all of the cheap comic tricks this is the one that has always worked the least for me.
>>78826037
She's dead and they probably won't use her again until Fox gives up the rights.
So no.
Has there ever been a character that's done a complete 180 from how they were created and no one has cared much less their creators have applauded it
>>78825812
Silk went from complete shit to kinda cute
It's not like anyone but casuals reads the Harley Quinn comics anyway. Meanwhile the original cartoon will forever be a classic that stands on its own without relying on shitty marketing gimmicks like "New 52" or "Suicide Squad movie!".
>>78825812
Fucking newfag do you even 80s?
Why are movies still afraid of using ''silly'' comic book suits for the characters?
>>78824820
Using a "realistic" Electro made huge bank for Spidey 2, didn't it.
Because then it would just be wrestling and not high art that will hold up through the ages.
>>78824820
This Electro costume is GOAT, but I don't think it would have worked for what they were doing (dorky scientist turned killer rather than a thug with powers) nor would I want it tainted because they would find a way to fuck it up
Is there any western cartoon with better fight scenes when korra?
>>78824352
Last Airbender
Not really no.

Well, CN still doesn't know how to make a proper schedule. What are your thoughts on the upcoming episodes?
I bet angel face will be another boring weird bmo episode
>>78823960
I don't like BMO at all, but the currently released S7 episodes about him were pretty good.
Adventure Time is cancer and you should all end your lives
Evening, anons. IRL psy-friend here, wanting to start a thread like I used to a long time ago. If there's something you want to know about the mindset of your favorite /co/ related characters, then ask away. If I've never seen the show you're bringing up, I'll let you know.
Psychology really is the worst kind of crock there is. What are you going to do, psychoanalyse cartoon characters that have no minds of their own and personalities created by whoever wrote them?
>>78823709
Try Hellboy and Rasputin.
I wanna see you do them.
>>78823727
Psychoanalysis? Yes, that's a largely debunked element of the field. It's fun, for sure, but more or less useless for diagnosis.
>>78823774
Sadly, I've not seen anything other than the movies...
>I am a the CEO of Roxxon Oil, and also very evil
>I kill my employees for fun
>I like polluting
>I have a News Network that's basically Fox News
>All I care about is money
>My stated objective is to squeeze the Earth dry until there is literally nothing left
>I join forces with genocidal Norse villains even though I lose money in doing so
>Also I transform into a Minotaur monster and eat people
To me Roxxon and Dario Agger's over-the-top cartoony evil attempt at criticizing real world Oil corporations really falls flat.
He exemplifies everything I hate about the "evil rich guy" cliché we often see in comics.
And I don't get why he's a Thor villain of all people, he doesn't seem to belong
>>78823582
I don't know, wasn't Thor like all about protecting Earth and nature and shit? At least before?
This was from female Thor wasn't it? Of course it's terrible.
>>78823582
A million times better than Malekith.
