Felt more like an extended pilot for a tv series.

This
big head little arms is the only thing that was memorable for me

Not really, since the basis of the plot is technically a temporal paradox. I found the villain's motivation (either of them) to be questionable, at best, and the rules of temporal paradox seemed to vary. Either Mr. Robinson knew what was going on the whole time and just chose to not be around that day so he wouldn't mess with the events of his younger self during the temporal crossover OR the whole "I am never going to invent you" thing wouldn't have worked. You can't have both. Additionally "I am never going to invent you" is a grandfather paradox.
But whatever, it's a kids movie that sucks the dick of one of Walt Disney's favourite sayings. I don't think it gives a fuck about accurately representing theoretical time-travel logistics..

Not familiar with turkish culture. What was that food? Gelatin?
So, what did /co/ think of the peanuts movie?
We didn't.
IF THEY'RE GONNA BAN THE WORD NIGGER THEN THEY GOTS TO BAN THE WORD MOTHERFUCKER CAUSE MOTHERFUCKER IS DISRESPECTFUL TO ALL OUR MOTHERS AND LAST TIME I CHECKED THERE'S A LOT MORE MOTHERS THAN NIGGERS YOU MOTHERFUCKING NIGGER
not enough to keep a thread bumped taht's for sure. Us Peanutters may be fanatic but there's just not enough
I watched Iron Man and Avengers 1 and they were entertaining well enough, particularly Iron Man, but overall, I don't get it.
The hype. The feverish devotion to shutting down critique. The hyperbolic praise.
I mean, there are funny moments and some of the actors are good-looking (Scarlett Johansson, Kat Dennings and the girl from Full House), but I honestly don't see what's so incredibly great about this series.
Yes the costumes and graphics are neat in some instances and there are some "LOL SO FUNNY"s here and there but, really...is that all? What am I missing that makes you guys so over the moon about these things?

Bright and funny is so far flung from the gritty horse shit that action movies are so often, that I think it's more than enough at this point.
I wouldn't go that far, OP, but one of the reasons Winter Soldier wasn't that good was because it was completely devoid of humor.
>>80875335
Avengers 1 is average on its own, the build-up was what made it special. It's more of enjoying the world rather than the story.
Iron Man is still one of the best films in the MCU, the only weakness is the weak villain.
Lets start with Tigra. I say her ideal nemesis is Kraven the Hunter.
Kraven's status as a man who's devoted to hunting clashes nicely with Greer's status as a predator who's trying to be good. Similarly, he's an old money rich jackoff, and she's some sort of feminist (usually second or third wave, sometimes just a slut tho) with no real career besides turning into a cat woman.
Besides that, both fit easily into exotic jungle settings, which could potentially be in nearly any continent. Also, they could potentially have a sort of Batman/Poison Ivy attempted seduction/denied attraction relationship.

nothing?
>>80874946
what do you want? i agree.
uhh i guess Vision could take it upon himself to fuck up evil robots..
>>80875983
SO like, some Kree Sentry should be his nemesis? or just like, Ultron as his archenemy?
I'd read a miniseries about Vision tracking down his dad and stopping him from destroying Earth
Would Avengers: Age of Ultron have been better off without them?
I'm an Avengers traditionalist so I was grateful to Joss Whedon for fighting to get them in. But I also think they contributed to the movie feeling over-stuffed. There just wasn't time to tell their story and most people around the world just wanted to see the characters from the first movie.
Plus because of the Fox connection Marvel refuses to use them in merchandising, cartoons, etc. so it almost feels like they were never in the MCU.

>Would Avengers: Age of Ultron have been better off without them?
No they had or were connected too the best scenes of the movie
If Whedon wasn`t a hack they could have been SO MUCH BETTER, they make next to no sense as characters and killing off pietro was such a fucking mistake
Age of Ultron would've been better without Widow and Hawkeye or Thor
I'm not even saying that out of some snide Widow's plot with Hulk was asinine, the only good Thor part was the hammer lifting contest, and all Hawkeye did was give a pep talk to Scarlet Witch which could've just as easily been handled by Cap
>The team at Telltale hit the stage in Austin at the SXSW Gaming Expo today along with Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller, to come out of hiding and talk details about the upcoming series based on BATMAN for the very first time. While development has been moving along swiftly over the last year, production on in-game visuals for all of Telltale’s series always tends to come together closer to launch, as the writers and designers spend their time focusing very heavily on the story and script first and foremost.
It’s still too soon to show any scenes from the game, but the team was happy to confirm that players can expect to see it closer to its upcoming premiere which is slated for THIS SUMMER! Additional details gathered from the panel were as follows:
>Batman is the perfect character for the studio to explore in a Telltale series, giving the team the opportunity to dive deeper into the mind of the man behind the mask. Each night, Bruce Wayne chooses to change Gotham for the better. The team wants to explore what the consequences are of the player’s actions when decisions made as Bruce have a critical impact on his nightly crusade as Batman, and vice versa. Certain key situations will give the player the decision to approach a scene as Bruce or Batman, with consequences for both sides.
>Fresh interpretation of the universe set in current times, not tied to any existing iteration of Batman in games, film, or comics. Story will focus on Bruce and Batman, not an examination of the extended 'Bat-family,' (Robin, Nightwing, etc.) Fans can expect certain series staples such as Alfred Pennyworth, Vicki Vale, James Gordon, and Renee Montoya. Telltale is looking to keep the villains more tightly under wraps until closer to the premiere.
>Certain characters will have a deeply personal relationship with Bruce in his private life, and decisions made as Bruce or Batman will affect their paths towards corruption or redemption.
>The player's actions will help shape the Gotham that Bruce deals with during the day, as well as the criminals that Batman faces at night.
>Team is committing to a non-photorealistic interpretation of the universe, enhancing engine and technology to deliver a more seamless living comic book art direction. Taking inspiration from the works of over 75 years of artists such as Jim Lee, Greg Capullo, and Neal Adams.
>Like some other Telltale series, the game will be landing at M (Mature 17+) rating, and the cinematic approach will feel more akin to an R-rated film.

Does /co/ have a favorite or least favorite movie that seems like they started from a title and worked backwards?

Kungfu Panda certainly could have been that but they made it work.

I watched it last night too
What confuses me the most about Bee Movie is - who is it for? Is it actually an adult animated movie? A good 60% of the jokes would make no sense to the average kid.
