I myself just saw the movie. Personally I don't think there was anything wrong with it. I did like the reasoning behind it. Being a momma's boy myself, I can respect that kind of motivation in a man which is why I specifically loved his reaction when he came after Zod back in MoS. Was it Zod? It was Zod right. And I think we all saw a little bit of the Superman everyone knew and loved where he was still willing to go forward and try to talk it out.

Either way, I think there was some nice back and forth between the two so no one needed to feel like things had been too OP.

Whole idea of an incomplete broken family and irreversible loss is what makes Stitch have such a big impact on everything.

Multi arc season with the ongoing plot being Clark and the Daily Planet crew investigating the uptick in supervillain attacks only to discover a shadowy group referring to itself as The 100 has been surreptitiously aiding and encouraging the villains before buying up the damaged property for cheap. Their end goal is the massive gentrification of central Metropolis so that normal crime is pushed to the outlying parts and suburbs, and with it Superman's primary focus, leaving them free reign to engage in more clandestine crimes at a lower risk.
