So Brian K Vaughan wrote a Walking Dead comic. Let's read it.

And I want a nigger as my mom, because...?
Good. She was a bitch. I mean just look at her kids. Nevermind what she did to that poor father.
>tfw you will never have a rail-thin cuck for a father
GOOD.

this was a fun issue
What comic book characters are defined for people entirely by a single event or ting about them? Like Ant-Man being his wife, Power Girl's tit window, and Bane breaking Batman's back.
Aquaman.
Man of Murder murdering.
Bat of Murder murdering.
Woman of Neckbreaking neckbreaking.
>>82037692
>Like Ant-Man being his wife
This would be entirely in character for Hank.
What's this exactly? they want to try "All Star" again?
>>82037549
It's just a title. The book isn't related to ASB&R or the All Star line in general.
This book is supposed to be Snyder telling "classic Batman" stories.
It's them officially killing the all star line and just making it another name to slap on a mainline book.
>>82037549
It's just Snyder telling shitty little stories that are sure to have his trademark awful symbolism and page long metaphor speeches. With absolutely gorgeous art from Jock and other artists that should be working on something else.
Anyone else really sick of seeing this specific face?
>>82037538
I don't solely watch web animations by, say, Spazkid, that guy that copies Spazkid, or that guy who does the Dolan webcartoon, so, no, not really.
>>82037538
I have never seen this face before in my life.
I remember when facial expressions in cartoons were based on exaggerations of life, and not copypasted from anime or video games.
From the ashes of this pitch came three really great books so lets talk about it. Would it have worked? Ho good was it? How would dc,superman the industry and there careers have been different had it came out. Are we better off with these three stories than the original? Which of the spawn books were the best?

http://www.popmythology.com/mark-millar-huck-superhero-we-need/
>Huck is the superhero we need right now more than ever.
>He is the hero who, more than any other fictitious one out there—yes, even the iconic Marvel and DC ones—personifies my vision of an ideal hero who is not only very possible to emulate in real-life but whose very existence and qualities cry out for such emulation.
>He practices small, everyday acts of kindness
>He channels his powers into such acts of kindness
>He writes down doable acts of kindness on his to-do list
>His needs and wants are simple (in an age when people want everything)
>He is courteous, considerate and polite (in an age when these are unpopular qualities)
I don't know why, but this article makes me mad. Maybe it's to do with Millar getting any credence after "Kick-Ass 2" and "Nemesis".

>HEY GUYS BUY MY EDGY SHIT PLEASE
>>82037338
>Maybe it's to do with Millar getting any credence after "Kick-Ass 2" and "Nemesis"
And why would that make you angry?
>>82037387
Not OP, but Millar is obviously trying to pass as a good writer instead of the edgelord he's always been.
cos fuck just having Jimmy Olsen black. Now meet American Aliens Jimmy Olsen, the gay black artist.
Well at least he's still a photographer right?
It's interesting how much Jimmy sounds like Jimmy and yet also doesn't sound like Jimmy

I don't have a reaction image that can suitably display my disgust and wut

>he's gay
of course he is, that way he can't touch your precious white women
Hi /co/ I'm new at the comics universe, so I need your help to find something to start, something about batman, red hood or nightwing (yep I prefer DC). So I appreciate any help :).
>>82036857
I started off with The Dark Knight Returns.
>>82036857
Liking Bat-shit isn't preferring DC, it's preferring Batman. Same when people say they like Marvel and all they read is X-Men.
>>82036983
sorry for that, I also like the flash and green lantern. But I want to start with batshit
Say at least three positive things about the Schumacher Batman films.
The ice puns were pretty *cool*
>>82036473
They forced Hollywood to re-evaluate how Superhero films should be made.
1) Jim Carrey did a pretty good job as Riddler. It was really more Joker, but I still thought he did a good job.
2) Two Face's henchwomen were really hot.
3) Val Kilmer was acceptable as Batman.
What the fuck is this, he jumps through a portal and nothing happens?
>>82035380
He goes to Supergirl's world but doesn't mention it because then their issues with Earth 2 don't make sense. Clearly they weren't planning on having to deal with 3 earths this season so they just fit it in here.
It's the Supergirl crossover, I think.
Supergirl crossover you mug
So /co/. What do you think of this?. Should it happen? Should not?.Lesbian Thread
Ivy is wondering why they both came out looking like clowns
Quick math lesson for you OP. Adding two women doesn't equal a baby.
>>82035337
DC's been teasing it so long they might as well commit. Besides, they'd probably get a lot of good press for announcing the two as officially lesbians.
Why doesn't Henry just write a Superman movie?
Henry has said multiple times that he considers acting to be his job, his way of making money and supporting his friends and family, not any kind of art. Why would he want to write?
I think Jon Favreau should write/direct one. He clearly has a decent grasp on how to direct superhero movies with a balance of seriousness and levity and his more recent projects show he has a good grasp on the visual.
I think he could deliver a Superman movie with enough of the family-friendly uplifting energy folks want from Supes, while balancing it out with just enough real-world weight to keep the adults interested and thinking "Yeah, what about that?"
Well, he's not a writer, for one.
But now that he's essentially "locked" into the Superman role, they should write something more playful that takes advantage of Henry's natural charisma, rather try to turn him into Batman or Spider-Man.
Or at least let him talk more, and talk to other people.
