Damien wayne is a mary sue try to prove me wrong
>beat nightwing 1v1
> beat deathstroke 1v1 with a broken arm and 2 gaping holes in his forearms
Being able to fight really well doesn't make that person a Mary Sue.
He was introduced as an unlikable little shit, and was purposefully written to be one. Over the years that followed, Morrison, Tomasi, and Gleason developed his character over the course of their runs until he was no longer the person he was introduced as.
And using a shitty adaptation of Batman and Son to prove your case is an incredibly idiotic way of doing things.

>Being able to fight really well doesn't make that person a Mary Sue.
It kinda does in a world centered around fights.
He's not a Mary Sue because most everyone either hates him or just puts up with him.
Newfags forget that being a Mary Sue doesn't just mean being super powerful. It also involves literally everyone being obsessed with them and/or falling in love with them. A Mary Sue needs to be super powerful and super popular.
Damien is only 1 of those things and OP is a faggot.
Out of context thread?Bonus points for superdickery
People keep commenting how interesting the world and lore is of this show, but I'm having a hard time seeing this. I mean its basically a watered down version of twin peaks mixed with low brow Simpsons humor. Many of the characters are one dimensional stereotypes with little depth or creativity.
So what am i missing?
>>82388906
It was interesting but the ending ruined it by not really calling back to any of it and making it insignificant
>>82388906
Shut up and post weird Gravity Falls pornography.

When it first aired there weren't that many good cartoons so a lot were pleasantly surprised. The mystery of the town interested a lot of people here and on other sites, especially the wheel at the end of the intro along with who the author was so everyone started to discuss their theories and share fan art of their waifu. Somehow people deluded themselves into thinking that the characters were deep. The fandom really picked up IIRC at the Dreamscapers episode, because Bill seemed to be an interesting villain. After his appearance the theories grew and fandom content accelerated while we waited for season 2 which was pretty great IMO for the first half.
People lost interest starting with Roadside Attraction and realized it was just another kids show, well here anyway. I don't think most of us here liked the humor but we liked the mystery and cute girls. I think its a 6/10 show at best but it did seem to try with the mystery for awhile.
So it was popular here because of the mediocre mystery but will be remembered for it's wasted potential and cute girls.
poppy thread?
just finished reading the entire comic up to now
There's going to be one tomorrow
Bitch about to commit regicide.
It's a bad comic.
Morbi is a terrible writer.
What the fuck were they thinking with this?
>>82386356
I love whatever they were thinking.
>>82386356
That Hals Penis resides on his abdomen
>>82386356
Maybe the writer wanted to make comics "real art" and also happened to be a big fan of Nabokov.
People keep commenting how interesting the world and lore is of this show, but I'm having a hard time seeing past the references and obvious inspirations to see its "creativity". Most of the show feels like disguised fan fiction, and knowing that Sugar was a heavy fan fic writer in her early days (To the point of Peridot being her fan fiction version of ZIM and Pearl basically being Double D), I wouldn't put it past that it basically is.
Is this a shitty reason for not being able to enjoy a show? Does anyone else feel this way?
>>82388760
All fiction is just a ripoff of somethhingh else
>>82388760
Nothing it's 100% original in these times
>>82388803

That's always the response, but when I watch something like Courage the Cowardly Dog or Ed Edd N Eddy, I can see influences, but I never think, "Wow, Courage is basically just like a narcotic Lassie".
With SU, all I can see is fangirl Rebecca Sugar plugging in her favorite characters and animes into a Frankenstein show.
For those who have seen Civil War, how was Black Panther? Are you excited for the Black Panther movie?
Heard he's the best hero in this.
Aside from scarlet witch
Really excited for the spinoffs
>>82386229
>Black Panther movie
>an idealized Africa where all blacks are happy

Bretty good, although he seems a bit overpowered, and he does need more screen time. His appearances out of costume are fantastic though, and his post credits scene is great.

>"It's going to be crammed with Bat villains, which means that just about every major bad guy you've ever wanted to see in a movie will be in this movie. According to my sources Affleck and Geoff Johns, who has been working with him on the film, want to make the definitive Batman film. They want to tell the ultimate Batman story, and to do so they're going to bring in all the big guns. They're going to have a big, sprawling Bat universe already in place."
Why hasn't he just killed them all since Snyderbat doesn't give a shit?
>Source: Birth.Movies.Death
Kill yourself.
Because it's not Snyderbat it's Affleckbat.
i want dami and his bros in the movie .
But not a white Dami.
Obscure Simpsons woman thread.
Good morning everyone and welcome back to this week's symbiote thread. You all know the drill, now, let's get to work
>>82384591
Carnage ongoing > Space Knight Venom ongoing
>>82384982
I will agree with this, Venom is suffering getting Bendis'ed, but I have faith in Thompson, hell that guy took Slott's OC and turned her into a great fun character, I think he can do the same with space Venom.
>>82385110
there is a reason why carnage is selling better than venom, space adventures has been the GotG thing for 3 years ago, Venom/Flash doesnt bring too much to the table.
While the writer of carnage is doing a spin to the character by making him deal with magic, and no any magic but Chutulu like magic from the marvel universe
Was he asian?
>>82384082
His genetic history is Bruce Wayne and a red haired woman.
>>82384115
why does he look asian though
i genuinely don't know if its just me here but he looks REALLY asian
>>82384115
yeah, that was stupid.
>Implying Marvel heroes don't kill.
This is a scene from Avengers 1, when Cap pushes a guy off the Helicarrier. Seconds later, he throws a grenade back at another dude.
Why is it a problem when, in BvS, Batman apparently killed people, but in this, when Cap clearly kills someone, it's no big deal?
>>82385156
Because Marvel is supposed to be about edgy faggots. DC is supposed to be better.
>Ironman kills in the first movie
it was stablished they do kill since day one
For the same reason it's okay for a dog to bark but if a cat does it it's weird. They're different beasts.

Watching that video was a waste of time and does not deserve any views. His points are very much clickbait fodder for other sites to write headlines for. Contrarian at best. If it was his honest opinion... There's not much else to say here...

this fag is /co/ in a few years bro, and we'll be shittier than now.
Post obscure characters

Teddy Ruxpin is my shit dawg.
Pretty self-explanatory. Despite that the show has gotten quite a bit of attention on /trash/ as of late, especially the gopher character here.
If you insist.
Aquaman literally cannot look cool, can he?
He looked cool in the 90's. In fact, he was the only one who looked cool in the 90's.
>>82383295
I think he looks cool OP and I should know, I'm super cool!
>>82383295
90's Aquaman disagrees.
