In an edited interview for Forbes, DC Entertainment President Diane Nelson talked about the development plans for the DC SuperHero Girls line.

Why Raimi is a fucking amazing director. He sharpened his teeth on the Evil Dead movies and brought his own unique style to the Spider-Man universe. That's what happens when you have directors who actually give a shit about telling the best story they can. Spider-Man 3 was the perfect example of a movie being ruined by executive meddling

Raimi's Spider-Man got the movements and visual style of Spider-Man completely wrong, it's uber generic, he swings like Tarzan not a spider, he crawls like someone mountain climbing not a spider, he fights and throws punches like some drunken brawler, it's all wrong

Look, I get it, once upon a time super heroes were for "boys" and were action movies, that isn't the case anymore welcome to 2016, action is fine in small doses but we want more than that, action needs to be secondary and there needs to be more comedy and cute scenes
