You better be watching this.
I didn't read the comic, can you tell me what the fuck these two idiots were doing or is it too spoiler-y?
>>83542218
Show's deviated so far from the comics bar the characters nobody has any clue what the fuck is going on.
I'm okay with this.
Can we have a fight choreography thread? I need more.

The only positive strengths films like Prince of Egypt have is its pretty design. The story itself is very cut and dry probably one of DreamWorks more boringly written films
I disagree, I thought the main conflict of the two brothers destinies at odds with each other was very well done.
>>83541531
I dunno I think a lot of old films DreamWorks tried to make bank on and failed all suffered from the same problem
They had the Disney quality animation wise but writing was never their strongest crutch
Road to El Dorado is a prime example of this the latter half of the movie is extremely rushed.
>>83541463
You mean the story of Moses? The story written thousands of years ago?
What's your opinion of the Rankin-Bass animated Hobbit?
Best fucking film version of the Hobbit we have (until the Fan-edits get better at least). I love Ian MacNeto, but John Huston somehow became my definitive version of Gandalf, and they've got such a magnificent Arthur Rackham inspired aesthetic.
Love it. I consider it a valued part of my childhood and it still holds up beyond just nostalgia.
It's not perfect, but it's still really good. It manages to capture a peculiar quality of Tolkien that Jackson never could.

Goddamn, Hamil
Can we post our own work here? I'm looking to get into VA because I was a stage actor but my disability makes it too hard to stage act. I've been getting into old radio plays and stuff and learning about the legends of radio, and I really feel at home. I really hope I get to meet cool people.
Since you guys dig impressions (I guess. I don't want to do impressions, I want to voice act), here's Harley (Sorkin Harley) as Dr Quinzel since I have a similar voice:

I need to invest in a better mic.
Anyone here seen Princess (2006) Danish animated film?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002C8YSD8?vs=1
It deals with some very heavy subject matter and it's probably why it was animated instead of live action.
It's basically about a priest who returns home after learning of his hooker sister's death by overdose. He brings his orphaned niece to live with him. Things happen and a revenge story unfolds.
Honestly, it reminds me a lot of the movie Drive, with Ryan Gosling. The lead character is very stoic, soft spoken, but can be very violent when the need arises. And certain scenes just feel like Refn was inspired by this film. There is even a violent elevator scene and a scenewhere the main char and the people he's been looking for meet in a restaurant near the end of the filmlol and Refn is Danish.
The ending is... well... just watch it.
The animation seems rough but you do get used to it.
I had my doubts but I think I'm putting this up there with Grave of the Fireflies.
>It deals with some very heavy subject matter and it's probably why it was animated instead of live action.
Usually that works the other way around.
Also- ...Are you seriously shilling dvds here?
>>83541041
I did. Bretty gud
And fuck Drive. Movie was dull beyond the beautiful visuals
>>83542300
I'm not shilling anything...
I put the amazon link up just for whoever wants to research it..
Yeah, it does work the other way around usually but if you watch it, you'd understand why I said it that way.

Is it worth catching up on this show, /co/?
Any other suggestions of shows to binge watch?
>inb4 already watched Darevdevil S1&2, and Jessica Jones
IZombie. It might not seem that great based on what you've seen, but it's actually pretty awesome and by the end of season 2 they go full Resident Evil.
>>83537910
thousand times this.
At first I thought it was just going to be another vampire diaries style knock off bullshit but its suprizingly well written and executed. The characters are super likable to boot.
However, i think the CW producers are about to fuck that show in the ass like they always do. You already saw this last season where they were forced to change from a 10 episode season to a 20+ one LAST MINUTE. You can see it in certain episodes. Like the writing is super tight for the begining and ending of the season but in the middle there are some episodes that feel really half assed, also extremely forced plot points out of nowhere.

Agents of shield is worth it. So is the first season of flash
By Jorge Jimenez.
First Super Sons sneak peek:
Jorge Jimenez's love for Superman is one of the most exciting things I get to see in the industry. I genuinely root for this guy's success. Definitely the perfect choice for this comic.
