Would you take Superman's Powers if
>you could only use them to help people and to do good
>you can not use them for personal use they will not be active
>when trouble strikes your powers would kick in but once the danger is gone they turn off again
>if you pick a fight you are on your own
>help people and to do good
Far too nebulous of a concept to rely on, no.
>>83567384
So basically I get to use them never.
>>83567384
>when trouble strikes your powers would kick in but once the danger is gone they turn off again
Wouldn't that just mean they would be on all the time since trouble strikes all the time, all over the world.
While I'm aware of the reasons for the retcon, could anyone tell me when exactly Hal started greying?
You posted that issue.
>>83567239
The writers wanted to characterize him as older and more experienced, and the Reed Richards greys were an easy visual shorthand.
>>83567313
An anon told me once that the touch of grey thing was also apparently in at the time. I think chicks digged the pipe smoking professor look or something.
Similarly Dick, Clark and whoever else got mullets down the road.
Star is cute! CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!

Generic moe shit IS generic moe shit, I agree.
You're goddam right.

Thanks for bumping, we really need two threads for this
Since this man is directing the flash movie now,do you think the west family would be black? Would Geoff Johns allow that since he just brought real Wally back in the comics..I just want to see people supporting #keepirisblack get rekt. What do you guys think?
Wait, it's only a question of whether the West family should be black because the director himself is?
Anyway, I want them to simply pick someone who is VERY good at playing Iris West to play Iris West. Color is a literal non-issue
>>83566765
That sounds exactly as retarded as saying that T'challa should be American because the director of the movie is American.
>>83566798
>pick someone who is VERY good at playing Iris West to play Iris West
This there's a reason there was so little anger of Samuel l Jackson as Nick furry
WOPIs an old racial slur directed at Italians, in case anyone was wondering.

Forgot one, anon

Hello there /co/
Should I start with the 2011 kick off series or can/should I just jump into All New All Different Nova?
>>83566686
2011 Nova was awesome, but mostly because Cosmic Marvel was amazing at the time. You'd want to read all of it, especially the big events - not just Nova. There's several torrents floating around that have the entire collection.
The All New All Different Nova has only a few nods/references to the old one, so you could just start there if you don't feel like reading all of the old Cosmic Marvel stuff.
Start with 2011.
It's the best stuff in Cosmic arguably ever.
New Nova is still pretty good though..
Thoughts? Looks like they might use him right away

People posted the same thing with Giant-man and look what happened
>>83566641
I thought the bad guy of this film was going to be Mads as some guy possessed by Dormamu.
Which characters of the big two would work better in the universe of the other company?

my favorite character from the company that isn't my favorite company

Vision, I think he would be a good in DC.
Billy Batson in Marvel.
Is the current Doctor Fate run any good? I'm kind of floating back towards DC lately and I want to get into their magic stuff.
It drags along at times but when it doesn't it's pretty cool.
I'm not sure how good of an introduction to their magic stuff it would be though, since it's pretty self contained.
It's okay. Levitz advances the plot painfully slow but the art's pretty and the main character is very likeable.
>>83566388
Slow as balls.
Has anyone read these new James Bond comics? Are they worth buying?
It's fine. If you like Bond you'll probably enjoy it, but it's nothing special.
>>83566367
First run is complete. It was okay, but largely forgettable. Had a few great layouts whatnot, but I actually stopped reading it after a few issues. Just... meh.
>>83566367
Kind of dull actually.
Alright. Would you rather be an inhuman or a mutant and why? What's your power? Which Group IS better?
>>83566156
Well...one is weird assholes who act like aliens and live in their secret city with their weird pretend-alien culture. And if you're one of them, you're apparently expected to answer to a monarch all of a sudden I guess? Except he can't talk, so his wife has to, like, read his facial expressions and swear to everybody "no really, I know exactly what he's thinking, this is what he wants" I dunno, that's what I knew about the Inhumans before they become a thing with the floating gas cloud and I think Black Bolt and Medusa are separated now...
The other is actual normal motherfucking people you can relate to, the main downside being they face a lot of racism.
>>83566204
Oh, and being either one has an equal chance of giving you useless powers that look more like a physical deformity. (Related note: Just so I'm clear on this, is Lockjaw a dog who got inhuman powers, or was he a person before the mist, and a giant teleporting dog is what they turned him into?)
But at least if you end up at Xavier's all the chicks are guaranteed to be hot.
IIRC Inhumans are more powerful but they are more likely to have physical mutations and downsides compared to mutants.
How the fuck did the old TMNT 2 end up being a better movie than this TMNT 2?
Between Tokka/Rahzar and the fucking Vanilla Ice cameo it somehow managed to be less annoying and have more of a plot than trhis one.
Fuck, I might even have preferred Tokka and Rahzar over Bebop and Rocksteady, at least they didn't talk much...
>>83565959
because everything in the new film ended up being anti-climatic and being absolute nothing.
Overall plotline - saturday morning storyline
Shredder - did literally nothing
Krang - did literally nothing
Bebop and Rocksteady - comedy for "dude bros" and their fight with the turtles did absolutely nothing.
>>83565959
It's true that Secret of the Ooze is better than Out of the Shadows, but the latter was surprisingly good. Of all the Michael Bay-related shit to come out over the years, TMNT 2 is probably the closest thing to not being complete diarrhea.
TMNT: Out of the Shadows is a better film than Batman v. Superman. And about 10 times as enjoyable. Fite me.

What can we expect out of DreamWorks in the next decade now that Comcast owns it?

Noddy is owned by Dreamworks now?

But it's not the weekend anon, racebait threads are on the weekends. Don't you have school to go to?
I think the point they were making is they're still just people but then there are those negative, racist labels. In the context of the setting, they're similar. Does he consider himself a "nigger" in the same way a racist white person would use that term? Or does he consider himself a person?
Other than that I can't think of anything discuss.
