behind the scenes people changed and the people who took over listened to shippers

People point to Felicity, but really she's just a symptom of all the producers and writers having absolutely no direction or vision, plots that make no sense, baffling decisions(like the death)that completely sabotage any good will the show had left, and generally being really really dumb and careless.
>blaming felicity as opposed to the trillions of other problems that plague the show
I had a guy the other day trying to tell me Dreamworks is a better studio than Pixar, I was completely baffled as to how anybody could actually think this.
What do you guys think? Dreamworks or Pixar? and let's not make it a "HURR $$$$" kinda arguement
Also say why you think what you think for a more civil discussion
>>83616415
You have to admit though, Dreamworks have been stepping up their game these last 10 years.
>>83616415
was he making the DreamWorks face as he said it?
>>83616415
Dreamworks works more with fun
Pixar more with a nice passing and a message
Any wild guesses as to when/how the rest of the elements on the #1 cover are going to appear in her story?
We've already had:
- Howard plushie
- (Cecil's) skull
- Teuthidian
- Thor's hammer
I could see Cap showing up in #3 or #4.Unless it's all meaningless, that is.
Also I only just found out that Gurihiru is off Gwenpool as of #5, and Irene Strychalski is in. Sad. But her art seems alright, and who know if it's a permanent change anyway.
>>83616887
>Irene Strychalski is in
>>83616887
When did that get anounced?
>There are people on this board right now who prefer Hoodie Arrow to Cap Arrow
Do you even bycocket
>>83616309
Well Mike Grell's stuff had the hood and it's better than any GA stuff before r since
>>83616444
This
Hood works best for street level/vigilante stories
Cap for Justice League and other team-ups/bigger stories.
Cartoons aren't that great anymore they were better in the 90s they were the best decade for cartoon.
>>83615976
I think 2000 to like 2006 was great, but after that was shit and now it's starting to pick up again. The Loud House is better than anything in the past ten years.

I added this to my pull list today and ordered back issues.
What are you doing to help make comic profitable and sustainable?
Don't you want Steve Lieber, who visits this board on occasion, to have good happy success?
If you could make a cartoon show about whatever you want, what would it be like?

Hello Storyteller.
That cover is ... something.
>Apokolips Now
That pun is almost certainly the deadest horse in the 4th World's history.
Clark! Hey, Clark, hey! Check it out: I brought my own Superfriends!
Who in the Justice League is most likely to talk about OP's taste in anime, true or otherwise?
>>83615514
This would be perfect.
A group of otherwise separate ideas brought together to make something greater. Like how the Justice Society and Justice League were conceived.
Not manufactured garbage like Fantastic Four.

>'You're afraid.'
>'Of you?'
>'Of death. You're the last one.'
>'YOU were supposed to be the last. Stark asked for a savior, and settled for a slave.'
>'I suppose we're both disappointments.'
>'Heh, I suppose we are.'
>'Humans... are odd. They think order and chaos are somehow opposites and try to control what won't. But there is grace in their failings. I think you missed that.'
>'They're doomed.'
>'Yes... But a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts. It's a privilege to be among them.'
>'You're unbearably naive.'
>'Well... I was born yesterday.'
This is one of the best scenes in the entire MCU. It's a glimmer of what Age of Ultron could've been. General AoU thread

based Vision makes anything better.
Unearned sentimental nonsense
From screen right to a tumblr page
>>83615378
This really is the best scene in AoU. Made me feel like maybe I didn't waste $8.
Hypercrisis thread? Hypercrisis thread.
What appeals to you about Hypercrisis?
What do you make of the Gentry appearing in some of the DC Rebirth titles?
What are some examples of some works with some Hypercrisis leanings outside of capeshit? Essentially anything that discusses the relationship between fiction and reality outside of superhero works?

Do you think this was intentional?
Does anyone else think this is a good PREMISE for an event? Obviously the execution thus far (and for the foreseeable future, HA! get it) is shit.
But the PREMISE of the event is kind of solid.
>Should we change reality by seeing the future?
>It can save lives, but it can also give us major prejudice, or we could actually make the foreseen future come true ala Thats So Raven
I wish we had competent writers working on this. I have high hopes for the tie-ins.
>>83615087
>But the PREMISE of the event is kind of solid.
It really isn't though.
>>83615087
Minority Report is fine yet this is not
>>83615087
>Does anyone else think this is a good PREMISE for an event?
not really
Which characters do you think are better in movies/shows than in their original comic book incarnations?
Falcon MCU is much better than the comic book version that has telepathy with birds.

Tony, because he never sent nobody to no fuckin alternate reality space gitmo
Just super-secret underwater gitmo which is, at least, still the fuck on Earth
Also Hank Pym for not beating his wife or making Ultron
