Tropes you love:
>Villain acting as a friend or guide to gang of heroes for most of the story reveals themselves, and as final fuck you does one last "Please Im being controlled!" type of line
>Villian is an asshole but ONLY to his enemies, which are mainly the heroes.

>Villian is an asshole but ONLY to his enemies, which are mainly the heroes.
Honestly, if I were to be a villain, thats how I would operate. If you personally wronged me, I would take my time to make your everyday life your own little slice of hell. Besides that, minor petty crimes that dont really harm one specific person, more 'show of force' and having a laugh at others inconvenience than seriously hurting anyone.
How many of these threads do you need man? Every day with this shit.

> Boyfriends shirt
LOL
Don't make the same thread two days in a row.

But SpidermanĀ“s DC equivalent is The Flash.
>>94742731
>peope now consider Spiderman to be IM's Robin
MCU spiderman was a mistake
This is Ikra. Say something nice about her.
>>94742262
She's hot.
>>94742262
She looks like Elphaba
>>94742380
You can say she unleashes and unspeakable heat, amirite?
Is Crisis the point where the DCEU wants to go, like MCU did with the Infinity storyline?
How would you do the adaptation? Also, for those that have read it, is it better than Infinity war/gauntlet?
Honestly feels like they are building up to Final Crisis at this point, or even fucking Doomsday Clock.
Why would you think COIE?
>>94742209
I just picked a random Crisis image
So Darkseid will be presented in a Final Crisis kinda story?
Is it good? I just saw a summary on youtube.
I guess maybe they could? It'd be much harder to adapt since it uses a lot of continuity.
>>94742277
I doubt it'll adapt most of FC since most of the aspects of the New Gods in it are very meta and abstract. More likely they could carry over some of the parts that are just the world getting fucked up. So a very loose adaptation.
Would this make Gambit unbeatable at close range?
Can he even do something like that?
pocket sand is powerful in the hands of any wielder
Can Gambit kinetically charge liquids or gases, or just solids?
school me /co/,
do i start up /ss/ or should i go back to new titans? I read year one and it started off fun, but couldn't follow through (even though it was probably the shortest run). how the fuck do i get into this series?
>>94742135
Just read the first issue. Like all comics. Sheesh
>>94742206
I've read the start of Sons and it's really promising so far, but I generally let runs finish arcs or hit milestones and then read them in bulk. been avoiding detective for that reason. I just want to avoid messes like the new52 run.
>how the fuck do i get into this series?
Read the issue of Superman where they meet, then start the series. It hasn't even hit double digits yet.
Am I the only one that thought she was cute?

Do people find R&M characters sexy?
>>94742158
No, I'm literally incapable of seeing 2D
>>94742158
That
>Creating a comic celebrating and focused around martial arts, fighting, and physical fitness
>Will have a high focus around explaining the mindset and strengths of different martial arts
I'm having some issues regarding eastern martial arts that focus mostly on the controlling of chi/chakra/energy such as tai chi that don't function well in actual combat I'm not sure if I should write them as
>How they perform in actuality
or
>How they're supposed to function to illustrate the mindset more than the actual application
Well first I would say study some King of Fighters characters (particularly 14) for a good display of fighting styles from around the world.
>>94741904
The second option sounds more fun, and visually appealing. Though be sure to spice up the energy waves, because I'm sick of power being represented as fire or lightening around a character.
Maybe do something like a mix of G Gundam and Jojo Bizzare adventure where a characters chakra/chi is represented by an overdesigned *force*
>>94742457
Funny you mention that. Tbh I'm still not sure how to represent it exactly, although I do have an idea.
>Most athletes have different visualizations of power/motivation.
>In-universe everyone calls this "energy" by a different name, even though most people agree that it's the same thing, whether it's chi, chakra, fighting spirit, "balls", energy, mana, etc.
>Because of this I'll take a key from Hajime no Ippo and go crazy with the illustrations of this energy
>For some people it might be puppet string holding them up
>For others it might be stereotypical fire/lightning
Thoughts on Edatlin?
>>94741891
I enjoyed his stuff. Do you have a link to his parody of Here Comes the Sun? I remember seeing it years back and it seems to have been removed from his channel.
>>94741891
Haven't seen this guy in forever
Something about his style really reminds me of the pbs cartoons I used to watch as a kid
Are you prepared for this moment?
>ywn have a job at the Jobby Job Center
Have you seen my mother? She's about "yay" tall, about "ohhh" big, and about hmmmm, niiice...
So I was watching the tellie with my nephew and pic related just came on the ads
>what_the_heck.jpg
Can someone enlighten me on its concept? From what I've seen it's a noseless baby rock band.
Also, general strange cartoons thread
