Is that a business call Hank?
so what's the consensus on this show? is it just waifubait?
its always on fast-forward.
almost unwatchable due to the pacing. but it might be fixed so maybe it'll be something beyond waifubait.

Concept is fucking dumb and art is horrible.
did they got away with this because they replaced hell with heck
>>93745534
Yes. And they even brought up the fact that it's supposed to be "Hell".
>"Wait a minute. Heck? Isn't it supposed to be-"
>"Upp upp upp! Censors!"
Is Kory and Peter cute?
>>93745491
Pete/anybody is cute. I just want him to be happy.
I admit, thats a cute ship...
>>93745491
Not as cute as Jon Kent and Annie-May Parker
Were they okay living in a pride of lions that ate meat on a regular basis?
>>93745451
Yes, because it is a fucking cartoon.
>>93745451
Sure, why not? The leader would make sure nothing bad ever happens to them, and they can get hooked up with all the food they want.
They dont eat them because they're Funny.
"Based off the movie" cartoons you like.
Doesn't have to be a live-action movie, can also be stuff like Aladdin or Tarzan.
Pic related is one I still very much enjoy.
Napoleon Dynamite wasn't too bad.
Hercules cartoon, the Aladdin cartoon and the... Emperor's... Old Groove? I don't remember its name.
Also OP should include "Based off a video game"
Jumanji, Men in Black, The Real Ghostbusters, and Godzilla the Series are all good. Some of them are better than their source material.

Emperor's New School
Insta-kill mode active
>Tony gave a child a suit with an instant kill mode
>>93745245
I'm guessing he expected him to be over the age of 18 by the time he finished his Training Wheels program.
>>93745232
Gotta say, I did not like the suit. It looked okay, and honestly it did make sense for Tony to do something like this, but the writers/producers giving Spidey a JARVIS does not sit well with me. Hopefully Tony stripped the suit down before he gave it back. I'd much rather see Spider-Man than Iron Man Jr.
Wich movie was the best?
>>93745089
I prefer the tokusatsu version.
So....like....why wasn't this in the movie? They clearly filmed scenes for it.
>>93744846
When Peter is attacked outside the school by Shocker2 he asks why he's there and Shocker2 replies he'll never know.
The implication being Shocker2 had some kind of sidemission in a deleted scene.
Or they reshot the scenes without the mask for whatever reason.

>The implication being Shocker2 had some kind of sidemission in a deleted scene.
I thought the implication was that "he'll never know 'cause he'll be dead by that time".
>>93744846
I read on the Wikipedia page that they hired a Chinese actor for an unspecified role which was eventually cut from the film. My best guess would be that Shocker 2 either abandoned Vulture or died, forcing him to recruit a third Asian Shocker to be his enforcer, i.e. the one you see here.

This will be hosted on the 13th of july and i have no idea what the fuck im doing
Kind sir, thank you in advance for your service in this nice fried chicken establishment and giving me this delicious meal. However, after taking a glance at my dinner meal, there is a severe lack of any slaw on it. If it wouldn't be much trouble to you on this cold night, would you please add some slaw to this meal to make it complete?
Upon further inspection of your luncheon tray it does indeed appear that the "slaw" as before mentioned is indeed on your plate
>I WANT MY SLAW
what did he mean by this?
Heathcliff spins a trash can.
Planet Sheen is a top tier show
Only if you're retarded

But it's a masterpiece of CG Animation. It's quite superb. You might even say it's out of this world.
Also, it's the best anime
OH GROCK
Not looking to play cape console wars or just shit on MCU, but I am surprised how well liked this film is. I felt it was mostly very average, humour was also very hit or miss for me but a lot of it felt Nick teen show so I can see it's probably working with the audience they wanted it to in that regard. It also didn't really capture Peter for me.
I get they want to avoid repeating what's come before, but I was surprised Uncle Ben was competely cut out. Don't get me wrong I didn't want to sit through the guy's death again either, but I think they could have done better than remove his presence completely, Spider-Man TAS went 4 seasons without getting into his death while still having him be part of the show, but that isn't a huge issue more just a niggle. Peter's sense of responsibility didn't seem the same either. He was very one track mind about being an Avenger and never really taking onto himself the impact his actions would have, I get that's the lesson the film is teaching him, but it's such a strange lesson for Peter to have to learn. I adored Spidey back in Civil War and felt they nailed what he's about in the conversation he has with Tony, but this film feels like a bit of a direction change for his character, and he spends the film learning to get back to being the guy he already was in Civil War.
For a film that wants to avoid repeating what's come before, it's remarkable how much of it was just the same dressed up differently in a lot of ways. It's essentially still an origin story, he's raw and hasn't properly learned how to be a hero yet, we just skipped over the part where he got his powers. Vulture twist I thought was cool in the moment of it, but after I let it sink in for a moment it did just feel like giving Peter the Norman Osborn dynamic with a different character and only achieved making the film more like what I'd seen before from Spidey on film not less.
yfwGOOD OL SPIDERMAN

A lot of well-liked films are technically average and it still scored a lot lower than Spider-Man 2 on RT, going by average rating. I only dispute that this is better than Spider-Man 1.
This is too different to be classic Spider-Man. The closest we'll ever get are the Raimi ones. But it did alright in integrating him into a preexisting universe. It was well done assembly line stuff from a hired gun director, instead of one who did it as a passion project like Raimi.
