How do people feel about photographers who prioritise photos of friends over photo's of everyone else? I've been waiting for a few months for photos that were taken at cons but the photographers just keep posting their friends photos, I've given up on getting photo's back from a certain photographer because they only ever shoot and post the same cosplayer
Are there any decent photographers in Perth? The only semi decent ones have this favouritism act going on and any others wouldn't know how to edit a photo to save their life

I'm just going to point out... most photographers offer FREE shoots whether you're at a con or not. If you're expecting your photos in a certain timeframe, perhaps send them a polite message asking about the pics? Offer them some money even or I offer baked treats like choc brownies. The photographer won't throw a fit if you talk to them with respect. I'm a scenic photographer and was considering branching into cosplay photography, but sometimes wonder if I'm better off keeping the heck out of the drama.

I'm still waiting for pics from BrisNova last year, but the photographer I was shooting with has a hectic schedule. They'll pop up eventually and when they do, I'll praise their work and thank them a million times over.

All the new partnerships with Nerf, Twitch, trying to get into the gaming market with a gimmick all-girl e-sports team to appease the snowflakes, the new shitty looking site, the weird Ironlak prize aimed at cosplayers, the cosplay ambassador thing smelling a bit of exploitation.
