- VISIT THE WEBSITE FIRST DAMMIT!! - www.robinhood.com

> How is it free?
"People" invest your settled funds when you're not using them, just like banks.

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, why?
Robinhood graphs are shit and only show you an average, not true real-time prices. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using tradingview.com, stockcharts.com, finviz.com, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

Interesting, that along with the health bill delay.

Banks are doing pretty well though, passed those stress tests, and have a lot of capital requirement regulations (this is why Yellen thinks there will be no repeat of 08, as what caused that was some banks essentially borrowed too much to buy too many risky mortgages).

If Trump's partial deregulation does get through in the future, those bank stocks would probably increase. They have some good dividends too.

It experienced a pretty sizeable drop heading into the financial crisis.

I don't think this is the same though, a lot of people are spooked by the flash crash that happened, and Fed Rate hikes as well. But the US dollar is looking to drop further right now, and it usually has an inverse relationship with the precious metals. And just look at the indices, doesn't really make sense, but I must be missing something.

Anyone have some sweet memes AND can also explain why the company isn't complete shit and why it might go up in value?

I want to believe in the memes but I just see shitty companies with negative earnings and shittons of debt. I want in the pennystock game but I don't want to baghold garbage from a failed moon mission.

Anyways...

Tech is starting to retrace/correct since Amazon bought an actual fucking grocery store chain and investors, I think realized the game is up and need to bail out and put money elsewhere.

I noticed the """value""" stocks I've been bagholding forever are struggling their way up now. Money is flowing out of tech and into banks and into all my second-rate dogshit companies that the market was relentlessly punishing just a few weeks ago.

I know zerohedge is pro-gold biased but here

>One minute after 4am EDT, as the European market was warming up for trading, Gold suddenly plunged $18, or as much as 1,6%, to $1,236 an ounce before bouncing, on a massive surge in volume with over 18k contracts, or just over $2 billion notional, trading in a seconds. A total of 18,149 lots were traded on Comex in just a minute, before falling back to 2,334 lots an hour later. As so often happens, the gold plunge dragged silver down with it as well.

You can't long UXVY, contango will devour your gains. Shorting only works if banks are willing to let you short without huge costs.

Thing about the market now is there is nowhere to put money besides the stock market. The bond market is atrocious, the worst in history. Bonds don't even outpace inflation, nobody is going to buy a 1 year bond for fucking 0.78% when a nice boring utility company will offer 5 times that return in dividends.

If there is a big market correction, money will probably go into gold, or real estate, or 2nd-rate value stocks or utilities, ect. It won't go into cash or shitty ass bonds because the real economy is too strong and there is room for more risk.

Cryptofags ardently believe their investment will REPLACE MONEY, so there is no logical reasoning with them, but 90% of their gains and demand for cryptocurrency come from Chinese investors disillusioned by the Chinese stock market and legally unable to invest their money anywhere else. Also,, other similarly shitty countries with harsh banking financial laws.

Chinese stock market is now very oversold, because of their weak economic cycle, it's only a matter of time before all that money flows out of fake virtual internet money and back into Chinese stocks. Mark my words, it'll happen.
