Most people that fundamentally believe in cryptos want to see central banking abolished, right? That's why only 802 people out of the entire United States reported their bitcoin capital gains to the IRS for 2016's taxes. Everyone else thinks they're safe. Everyone else thinks they fooled the tax man.
Well, guess what? The government is working to analyze public blockchain records and people will inevitably get charged with tax evasion and sent to jail or forced to pay huge penalties once the jig is up.
Therefore, unless you're one of the 802 good goy tax payers, you'll eventually require a private crypto like PIVX, Monero, Zcash (or even ARK apparently offers optional private transactions).
Since anonymity is a major backbone to crypto currencies, why are private cryptos not seen as a big importance right now? Does everyone just feel safe with the current level of pseudo anonymity that bitcoin provides?
