Let's have a serious thread for once. Is anyone here actually living with crypto trading? I've been some good gains but i'm thinking of dropping out school to do that full time. Meaning 100% dedicated to this booming industry, eat breath sleep this like a hedge fund manager. I have a feeling that the next months and 2018 will be huge for cryptos. Anyone?

Do you really have enough gains to drop out? Why not just do both? Uni is easy if someone is paying the bills. If crypto pays rent and tuition just do STEM and stay up late trading/studying, or give up partying to make more time. IF you're in humanities, yeah, time to bail.

I'm trying to access my LTC wallet (via the official software) and it gets as far as the splash screen then closes down.
I'm running XP too (which I've even reinstalled, to no avail), if that helps. Can anyone help me get to my coins? Gonna be pissed if I've lost my coins.

Where should the wallet.dat go? In the LTC directory there are two subdirectories - daemon and docs. It's not in either of those and it's not in the root of the LTC directory either.

Is it ok to quit my job without notice? I'm a kitchen steward at a hospital. My job duties range from scraping plates to cleaning equipment. I've been there for two years, I'm on good terms with most people there including the supervisors. But I just can't take it anymore. Being there does horrible things to my state of mind and I desperately need a way out. Due to my crypto gains over the past year I'm financially secure enough that work wouldn't be an issue for at least a year. What's the worst thing that could happen if I leave without notice?
