I also shop at Amazon somewhat frequently
>>
>>2927320
if you shop at amazon, its awesome. 5% back on amazon purchases, 2% on restaurants (and travel I think), 1% on everything else
>>
>>2927328
If you shop at Amazon a lot then its totally worth it.

What is a DAG?

I noticed that Byteball and IOTA both use it and I was wondering how that differentiates the two from say BTC or ETH

Directed means A->B instead of A<->B, one-way. Acyclic means no loops, no path back to A from B. A graph is a bunch of nodes and edges, A and B are the nodes and the arrows are edges.
>>
>>2927292
asynchronous transactions so much faster in the long run with more nodes. Does two previous transactions so weighted and more trusted nodes are less likely to accept shitty (doublespend) transactions. better tech, timestamps and contracts coming for iota

DAG looks like pic related. Most blockchains use a nondirected graph, in which all nodes are verifying each other, instead of this one-way graph. Both methods prevent a central authority.

How about a large serious pumping group for once in our lives?

Here's my idea. A P&D group which balances the poorfags with richfags and which gradually informs only a part of the group which coin they're meant to pump. From the lowest to the highest 10-33% of the total would be informed every few minutes.

It leaves the over 500+ bitcoin whales dead last so they don't crash the market and let the little shrimp get up, making them grow progressively. Yes about 1-25% would be left in the shadows, but the other 75% would make some guaranteed gains. I'm tired of "everyone for themselves" and "everyone is equal" bullshit. We need some balance.

Ok do it, you could build a DAO-style smart contract that runs on its own and works like this, it would be trivial. You could probably design it in like a few days time.

>B-but anon, I just wanted others to do the work and let me profit from it.

Nope, doesn't happen that way. Do it yourself or nobody will do it.

Is it safe to remove my BTC from my paper wallet now?

Will I get my Bitcoin Cash when I do it now?

I want to move my BTC first to Blockchain.info and then my BCC to the Electron Cash wallet.

Is this a smart idea? Yes or no?
8 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
I'm waiting until tonight or tomorrow to move from my paper wallet
>>
>>2926864
Ok sounds good.
>>
Do you have your private key on blockchain.info? If not, transfer to a new paper wallet with a new private key to be safe.
Then you go into your Electron Cash and enter the private key of your (now empty) wallet and you should have your BCC.
I would also give you an advice: Send to ViaBTC with only One confirmation. I have already sold my BCC there for 0.1BTC each.

Not to mention that that the Devs proved how retarded they are by attempting to just add some extra coins to the supply to cover their own fuck up of bailing some whales who got hacked due to their own stupidity out.
>>
>>2926688

bum :/

So I'm practically a total beginner on investment and financing and was hoping that some of you could recommend some resources like websites or books (that aren't shrill shit) that I could look into to learn some strategy and bring myself out of investment ignorance so I can start looking to put some money in the marker or whatnot. I'm planning on going into undergraduate accounting this year so I think extra financial knowledge from /biz/ would only help.

just get a vanguard mutual fund or something similar, tons of decent funds out there with low expenses

Forget about Jennifer and Elizabeth, and buy ETH. Make 10% in a month and laugh when these cunts complain they don't have as much as you because of muh wage gap.
>>
>>2926575
Be more specific.

Do you want books about investing, business, finance and pricing, accounting, some field related to finance like consulting or actuarial science?

And then if it's something like investing...what kind of investing? You want technical analysis, fundamentals, mindset?

This is a huge field you're asking about here.

I was told this was the safest entry level crypto investment but it's been 2 months now and I haven't made any gains yet.

Should I get out of tether or is there a chance it will moon any time soon?

>>
>>2926519
It will moon soon.
>>
>>2926519
are you seriously asking if tether will moon?
>>
>>2926519
The fucking irony is that tethers were 91 cents back in April of this year each at one point and we weren't sure whether to hold for it to return to 1 dollar or get out now and bite the 10% loss cause it could go to 0. Gave me such a headache. This was back when they were sued by Wells Fargo so they lost their $1.00 guarantee so the fucking snakes over on Kraken decided to open its price up to the free market and people sold it down to 91 cents.
