Where do I start with learning about cryptocurrency trading?

What should I read, who should I watch, and where should I go?

Any advice would be appreciated

Just install Blockfolio and follow the money. People are making it more complicated than it is. The only way you could lose is if you didn't understand the difference between plus and minus sign.

I want to find one or two coins on shittrex that have very high volume or very high activity and make a bunch of microtrades quickly for marginal gains each time. Like .5% or 1% profit per 10-15 minutes. Is this a bad strategy?

>>3148033
this is a trading strategy called scalping.
it's not bad as long as you aren't.
>>
>>3148033
it's good until the shitcoin crashes 10% due to whale activity

cant go wrong with holding xmr
>>
>>3201560
Monero will keep rising. Due to the nature of the coin, a lot of money will be pumped into this as a means for security in illicit activity. It will take a major hit in 6 months when a certain group using it to launder money is busted and will never fully recover.

Screencap this.

I think I know but I would like people here to confirm, to make sure I don't buy from a place that is off by one character and get scammed.

Also, I'm holding BTC, BCH, ETH, Ripple, NEO, OMG, and Binance. Anyone know if either the ledge or trezor will support all of the above? Ideally, it'd also support the upcoming segwit2x fork of BTC.

Just put KeePass on a regular USB drive. Save private key as password

Really? Ledgers and stuff aren't any safer than a regular USB drive, even though they get so much hype?

DESU, my preference would be to email my private keys (zipped with 7zip or something) to myself on a special gmail account that I've secured with U2F, but I'm not a security expert, so not sure how much that leaves me open to attack. Seems like this would only be risky if I created or otherwise accessed one of the wallets on a compromised computer, but if I had a special one just for this purpose, and was willing to buy a new one if that one died, it seems like this would be great for making sure I didn't lose a trezor or usb drive while moving or something.

Why my coin is better than yours:
No ICO, POW to POS
No premine, project is 100% funded from the developers of IOC
Volume is naturally low given 53% of coins in wallets are staking, thus securing the network.
Very good distribution, top wallet owns 3.24% of total circulating supply
Has a established foundation with reputable advisors (ex Mexico IBM CEO, KPMG global alliance partner.)
Included in IBM's hyperledger project, with potential to use blockchain over API.
Two or three VC groups have established relationships with IO foundation
One is Stokens, a VC group that specializes in crypto-currencies meeting the highest level of legality to provide clients a gateway into digital assets without the legal grey area.
Project Sunrise: Not disclosed but some form of collaboration to facilitate the adoption of and usage of the IO blockchain.
It is a currency, plain and simple, no sugar coating, exactly what a crypto CURRENCY should be.
DIONS: Fully fledged enterprise suite for storing secure documents, encrypted messaging and more
User friendly wallet ecosystem in which people other than speculative neck beards see use in.
Chameleon: Sidechain project after Dions which will allow for a greater degree of usage among private and public use. 100k tx/ps has been estimated.
Technology before marketing: Developers are marketing for enterprise grade adoption, not for traders speculative pleasure.
However marketing is going to ramp up post DIONS release
All in all DIONS has been a LONG anticipated release for those who have stuck around, this will be huge step for the foundation and a charter into new, brighter seas.
If you don't see potential in this I hope you buy the very ATH, right down to the sat.

Heard some rumors about espers..

Heard the devs a few days from releasing the test version of the new "modified masternode system".

And on top of that you'll be able to begin your web design on the blockchain - trial phase of course.

Ath and beyond!
