Yes. I'd shitpost and make a couple of other replies saying "No";"Maybe";"What was the question", but let me just tell you that a rather dumb thread topic.
Even fucking green gas moscarts have, arguably, some benefit. Pair them with high pressure CO2 or those shells that allow you to use NERFS and other shit, and I think you have the answer. Bonus points for TAG shells, that basically bring TH GL experience to the airsoft. Now is it worth the money and hassle to run with a proper GL loadout and bring the best out of it? Probably not, this shit is expensive, probably much more expensive than running a SAW with HPA or a top of the line sniper rifle if you want to do it properly. I honestly don't think there's a more expensive way to approach airosft, maybe minus preparing an actual vehicle just for the games, or maybe buying a high-end drone to scout. And even then, you're mostly just carrying dead weight.
Get GL only if you can justify it, because of constant milsims that utilize vehicles and have some bonus rules for using GLs, otherwise stay clear and keep your rifle and gear lighter.

I had that happen with a small plastic piece on an HFC Glock 26 spring guide before you could commonly buy replacement parts for them. That was a real shame because it was honestly a nice gun but it became junk after that piece went flying into the void.
I also had a small spring from my WE M14's trigger group go flying while I was putting everything back together, but thankfully it was a regular coil spring that could be bought at Ace for a couple cents instead of like $5 from Evike.

How can I make airsoft fun for myself again? I rarely play just because I'm hoping my hiatus time away would re light the flames I once had for the hobby. It doesn't seem to do anything. The only fun I have now is tinkering with the guns internally.

I have never replaced a spring on a gun before but I am considering getting the AGM MP40, and I need it to shoot just under 300fps to be full auto legal at my field. Is that gun shit? How do I know which spring to get?

There was a guide posted last thread. But you can't really go by them, as there are a few factors that go into it. For just under 300, I'd go with an m90 depending on how good your compression is.

If the fps is too high you can cut off a few coils. Try to get the best compression you can the mp40 doesn't have that long of a barrel, so a lot of air will be wasted if it doesn't have a ported cyliner.

All aeg springs are interchangeable, so a regular spring will fit right in.

I would chrono it before you change the spring, it might be doing that already, the AGM MP40's typically have fairly low FPS' out of the box.

That being said the MP40 gearbox is a little weird, so be prepared for a little more interesting ride than your average gearbox. I absolutely love mine though, MP40's are a lot of fun to game with the KA 110 round mid caps.

Right now I have a saw because i bought it as a project gun, and ended up liking it. I also like the fact that the gearbox is easier to work on since it has that micro switch and doesn't have all the fire selector junk.

The outfit goes mostly because I play in the woods, and m81 was designed for the forest. I also got it for free, so I can't ask for much more than that. When I'm not using it and I'm just in regular cloths, it's just because I was too lazy to either wash the m81's or didn't feel like looking for them.

No one talks about how well G&G makes AKs for a reason. They're average clones of the outdated and out of spec Tokyo Marui AK from over a decade ago, and VFC based guns from companies such as CYMA and LCT are much better since they're 1:1 with real AKs in terms of externals, are a little bit easier to work on, and have stronger rear trunnions.

A tacticool LCT AK-74 is built better than the G&G, looks better, and is around $260 once you figure in Evike coupons

I have a stock ICS CXP with a M120 spring currently inside, what spring classes can I potentially upgrade to if I want to turn it in to a DMR?

Was imagining a 450mm precision barrel upgrade and a M145 spring, with metal gears and semi auto only it shouldn't be to much internal wear and stress I imagine.

So I've got a WE Hi Capa 5.1, a couple of green gas mags, one WELL CO2 mag, bunch of spare parts and a WELL G5.1 in the scrapyard. Most of this shit is a decade old and barely seen any use because of how problematic this shit was (it was a lesson for me to never listen to my sperg older brother, he always got me in shitty deals, that fucker).
The Hi Capa works, although barely like a piece of shit WE it is. Mags hold, for the most part. I want to get rid of this shit, everything. How much can I actually expect for all of this shit. 30% of initial price? Less than that and I don't think it's worth the trouble. On the other hand I almost expect some retard buying expecting crisp quality of a TM and even more trouble because of that.
I think I'll just hold on to it and maybe trash it completely with HPA one day.

I love using the P90, but it may be a bit to bulky to consistently use it one handed.

I shoot it with two hands whenever I can, one handed shooting mostly just occurs when I need the other hand for climbing or support.

I'd get something with a mag in grip. P90 is probably the least onehanded-friendly SMG out there, unless you still want to hold it against your shoulder. MP5k works well too.
I bought a Well MP7 and I slapped a MK23 suppressor on it, use it exclusively with one hand and just mag-dump everything like a gang negro. I consider getting a TM GBB in the future or the HPA tapped AEP if I find one somewhere for a good price. Want to slap a tracer unit on it and just light shit up.

No or there's a lot of rules about them because they're generally pretty bullshit. Same goes for armored "juggernauts". Usually they can't just hunker down in a choke point, can only carry sidearms, etc.
In the real world, a 9mm would tear through a lexan or plexiglass shield and actual ballistic shields are heavy as hell, while in bbwars you can just sit in a hallway and be an unstoppable bunker. I think he means like a 400 FPS CYMA AK or a 500 something FPS sniper (Though really, you shouldn't be allowed to take a high FPS sniper to a CQB field) with .28s could take out a shield better than a 300 fps GBB 1911 with .20s.

Are GHK AKs a moneydump?
Let's say I got to the point I always have a back-up rifle/handgun, and want something more than a regular AEG. HPA isn't ideal for me, even though I'm saving for a drop-in-kit for my F2000. GBB is pretty much ideal, as long as it doesn't fall apart in weeks like WE.
Is the GBBR market for rifles that can shoot ~450FPS out of the box still full of moneysinks, or can I start fapping to GHK?
Does it stop shooting after the mag is empty? I know AKs don't work like ARs in that regard, but still.

You can run a GHK stock for a while, but nozzle O rings, magazine O rings, and magazine feed lips should be treated as consumables. You'll need spares of those. Plus the mags themselves are VERY costly, recommended is to run with at least 6 mags.

Startup cost to run a GBBR is a lot, so it can be considered a money dump. From there you can upgrade which again can cost a shit ton on top of the startup cost.

I've had 2 GHK AKs and 3 M4s. They are fun as all fuck, and I recommend them to anyone who is willing to spend the money on them. But it's a lot of fucking money.

When you say dmr I think of near bolt action performance in a semi auto. You can get decent range out of stock hop up, depending on who made the gun, but most of the time you can get better range with after market stuff. I'd suggest just getting a normal starter gun for a while if you don't already have one. Then just use that and tinker with it so you can get to know the basic workings of an airsoft gun.

As far as scopes go, I don't know much of anything regarding that, sorry :/

In general I would the cyma SVD is quite good. A friend of mine has one and if shoots really far for a stock rifle. However, the internals aren't standard, which is why I would recommend a 'normal' gun before that as a first gun. Look for something with a V2/V3 gearbox i.e. an AR, AK, MP5, G3, or G36

As far as I understand, a better way to camo your gun would be to break the silhouette to it wasn't as obvious. I could be wrong. But holy fuck I am tired of seeing people ruin their guns. At least I can laugh at them when they try to sell their stuff for months and months, and nobody buys because it looks like someone smeared baby shit on their guns.

What wears parts out more? High cycle rate or slow cycle rate with a heavier load? Ever since I've been running a higher rof setup, my pistons and gears are shitting the bed much faster it seems than when i was using a heavier spring and a slower rate of fire.
