Back in 2013 the JG batch that our local store was getting were so bad that they stopped stocking them after one order.
Bent outer barrels, swiss cheese internals, horrible tolerances.
I've never met someone in person here who owns a JG and likes it.

SMG: Mine would just be an MP40 with King Arms 110 round mid caps, because the MP40 will always be my favourite SMG. But I love SMGs so there are a lot in that category.

Rifle: I'll always be partial to an AK that contains wood, currently I have my Cyma AK47 set up with a Lonex hop up, and downgraded spring, I'll upgrade internals as they break. Simple and works throughout most of my favourite loadouts.

Machine Gun: The current machine gun I want to use, that's more of a SAW, is an MG36 set up, mine's a JG that I swap outer barrels and front assemblies between with the G36C model. I need a beta C-Mag to really make it a support weapon though.

DMR: The DMR I would probably most like is a full wood/imitation wood stock M14 with a simple optics set up, probably a simple 4x that's cheap.

Sniper: A springer Dragunov with a real wood stock and PSO-1 replica is pretty much my dream sniper rifle, I intend to do one at some point in the future.

I'm very, very boring. I doubt anyone will appreciate my list.

He's partially meming, but WE does have a long standing reputation for guns made with sub-par materials, poor design choices, and spotty quality control. Some guns even come with defects right out of the box, like the WE M14 which has been on the market for around seven years now and STILL has a fatal flaw which causes it to become inoperable after about 5k rounds. Things like the safety, bushing, and spring cap on the 1911 can fail too. I actually had my spring cap fly out of the 1911 slide that I have on a TM Hi-Capa.
They've definitely stepped their game up with things like the NG3 pistols, and providing OEM steel internals for their M4 and AK, but a lot of the non Marui/WA/etc clones suffer from WE's bassackwards designs. They need to stop doing things like making crazy double guns, constant prototype models, and instead unfuck the remaining products they already have.

Will a high torque motor give me a high rate of fire and a better run time on my battery?

The guy who replied to you is either a retard or a lazy asshole. The AEG Uzi is not an AEP, its a version 5 gearbox, a gearbox that I personally don't even know if there are 3rd party aftermarket parts for. JG doesn't even make an Uzi clone, Well does and like the Marui, uses a version 5 gearbox.

There are lots of AEP parts, Nineball/Laylax springs and other gearbox parts, PDI springs and gearbox parts, MAG 130% spring, Firefly buckings, etc. They aren't restocked that often but they aren't unobtainable.

If you have a TM Uzi it should last a very long time stock with a low voltage battery. A high voltage Lipo or NiMH will certainly lead to accelerated wear as TM's are designed around low powered springs so their internals are pretty soft.

As someone who owns an NG3 pistol, and has friends who have bought other we-tech pistols, I can confirm this. The NG3 pistol is perfectly fine, but it does suffer from some quality control, in my case, after about a dozen games, the trigger link rod spring was very weak, and i had problems after about a dozen games. After replacing that bit, it has been operating fine.
My friends have purchased the wetech nostramus 1911, NG3 hi cappa, and a luger.
The nostramus hasnt had any issues, the other ng3 got a busted nozzle after about 3 games(still under warranty though, so evike gave him a new one, hasnt busted yet), and the luger's triger spring wasn't working that great.( in regards to the luger, im pretty sure that friend was just playing with the damn thing WAY too much, as he was using it for some cosplay stuff. hes also a dumbass, and we-tech is for sure not dumbass proof)

Measure the interior diameter of the cylinder and get an x-ring who's outside diameter matches. If it's in the middle, pick the ring that is slightly smaller, the larger ring will get bunched up and cause stress on your gearbox assembly and you may have failures with your piston or gears.

I'm pretty sure the piston head is designed to have less resistance at low velocities, at high velocities the air passes through the holes and expands the piston head O-ring to provide a seal.

I think the GKs are a bit overrated myself. Was only getting like 15 MOA when some of the cheaper options were getting at least 10 MOA at like 50 feet, or however long my basement shooting range is. This GBB was cheaper but performs better.

How many you oldfarts actually own a KJW 1911, recently? It's an almost TM clone. Some TM parts might fit but can cause unsolvable issue, aka, not perfectly fit. Some TM parts can be modify and put it in but still can have issues.
Not saying KJW 1911 is not good, but get an update note before you folks recommend something.
If you are clumsy and dumb enough to break a Cybergun 1911, you might as well smash it into pieces because no one can help you.

Something I found interesting was that when I did a hop up change in both of my Cyma AK's, the Cyma AK mags I had no longer worked and didn't fit in the mag well, and when I filed them to get them to fit they didn't feed. The MAG's just worked without any issue at all. I also found they were pretty well priced too.

Things break in a gun even if you take care of them, that's just how GBBs with pot metal internals work. With a KJW you have the option to buy reinforced aluminum or steel parts, while you're stuck with cheap pot metal castings with the KWC which will eventually break again.

What is it that drives some Airsoft players to theatrics? What is it that makes a lot of people want to dress and act like some sort of current or historical soldier? I mean I get having plate carriers, helmets, camo etc etc, those are items of functionality. What I can never understand is the people that take Airsoft to the level of LARPing. To me it's so cringey it hurts. I play a lot of paintball and that is the exact attitude many of those people have towards Airsoft. I think more people would be interested in playing if Airsoft was more focused on the actual game at hand and not about some guy pretending he's delta force.

Can't really say for the rest of the world, but here, in Russia, airsoft came into being solely thanks to reenactors, and some of the old traditions still stand. Airsoft community here is a relatively tight circle where most people know each other in some way or another, and not-reenacting in some way used to be frowned upon.
You won't be able to go to a significant portion of events without it.
The times are changing here, though, airsoft becomes more popular, so there are a lot of people who don't want to bother with all of this.

No, even a gas pistol like a KJW CZ75 will work without gas in it. Only the hammer will fall, but the slide won't cycle and it won't expel anything.
Compressed gas is just used in place of a combustible propellant or recoil to cycle the action.

My friends and I have been looking at getting into airsoft, and my older cousins donated some old crap guns to me. 2 springer pistols and a spring rifle to be exact.
My friends and I want to train before going out on an ifficial field, so we figure we can to 1v1 matches against each other with the pistols.
Anyways, I'm worried about getting shot. One friend was fucking around and he shot me in the chest with the rifle, and since I wasn't wearing a shirt, it was bad. What should I wear if me and my friends fuck around with the pistols or if we decide to hunt each other down with the rifles?

the mags arent the "proper" mag for the gun. they will fit, and will be less likely to break due to the locking tabs being made of metal instead of plastic.

disregard the ak in my post if you want the metal aksu. i had one for YEARS before i sold it. they are well worth the money. i still recommend using ak47 mags.

Mate by the time you finish upgrading the TM, there won't be any TM left in it.
Just get the WE version and by the time you bring it up to spec you'll be paying as much as a new TM 4.3.
