Quality thread, guys.
Can you somehow put a 14mm CW (I think) Marui Tracer unit on a M870 breacher?
Suppressor on a shotgun is strange, but I would love to have my tracer on my main CQB gun, and I'm debating getting a M870 or P90.
I'd prefer a shotgun, because easier to HPA tap and more fun to use.
>>2290204
P90 it is then.

>All the memers start saying it will melt, even though this is fucking airsoft, not firearm in the middle of the desert
Yup, it's fucked. The fact that we're even talking about that describes how low we've fallen. What's next? Directing to reddit for further conversation?

>>2290619
Fuck off German"bro" the G36 is a middle of the road airsoft gun at best and its real steel counterpart is the same. Whether or not it melts its still an overengineered hunk of plastic with HK (tm) "it just werks" proprietary bullshit. I get its your countries service rifle and thats cool but if you're gonna jerk about HK it may as well be something worthwhile like the 416. Christ the damn thing is being phased out because its so damn snowflakey.

Plastic guns shooting plastic pellets, what in the fuck was I thinking I'm getting myself into?
>>2290673
Yeah, when I handled it, it felt like a solid rifle. The polymer was thick all around, the gun didn't protrude much in many places. My only issue was in regards to the width of the stock, but not much can be done about that

Just got this gun 2 weeks ago, have shot about 30 bbs with it so far and now it's jamming. When I cock it to chamber the bb it chambers it but it wont fall out if I hold the gun down. If I cock again it'll send the bb out of the jam and put a new one in. Fucking brand new gun. Any tips on why this is happening? I know it's happening in the BAXS thing but I can't think of how this came to be.
>>2292698
Here's what it looks like in the chamber.
Worth noting that it didn't happen when I was shooting it and I tried two magazines with the same results
I have a slight suspicion this could be how it's supposed to operate but all the time's I've actually used it the bb falls out when I chamber it and then point the gun downwards and it worked perfectly fine then.
>>2292808
Here's another pic
>>2292808
>I have a slight suspicion this could be how it's supposed to operate
actually scratch that, forgot that when it's chambered the magazine doesn't come out properly

>the iron sights are very nice
>very biggu pistol grip for big guy hands!
>roll marks are colored in
>working bolt release, making hop-up adjustment 10x easier
cons
>does not come with non-orange birdcage
>magazine compatibility is eh, it doesn't fit the Elite Force STANAGs I already have, when you'd think EF stuff would work with EF
>high cap it comes with needs to be smacked in, kind of weird putting it in

What are good batteries to use in an lmg? The more mah the better. The nimh batteries I have don't hold a charge anymore. I'm thinking about lipos. But I'm kinda worried about the exploding meme.
>>2294446
>But I'm kinda worried about the exploding meme.
it's really just a meme
if you're not a complete retard, nothings going to happen to you or your gun
keep it away, keep it charged when not using it and don't let it get too
ez
>>2294446
Get a tester, a decent balance charger, and reputable batteries and don't be retarded.
>>2294446
Get a well rated Lipo off a place like Hobbyking. Lipos exploding is a huge meme in the same as the blown up KWA 1911 and only becomes a thing when you do stupid things like using a non smart charger, a charger that puts out more voltage than the battery can take, letting it sit on your dashboard on a really hot summer day, etc.
I had a NiMH battery flame up on me once because my stock pinched the wires and shorted the battery.
Anyone in the LA/Burbank area that wants to sometime meet up in the near 3 weeks and go airsoft together? Im pretty normie, but my friends are being fags and want to go when they say, yet they don't have a car.

>>2294746
you can do it pretty easily by fucking up charging it or discharging it or with a hammer and screwdriver
Personal preferences aside - AR15 is pretty much THE rifle, just as much as Glocks are THE handguns, right?
>>2294746
Overcharge it, puncture it, leave it in a trunk on a sunny day.
Some fat fuck on my local forums apparently lost a couple of fingers and burned his hands due to a LiPo accident, but he didn't provide hard proofs so he might be memeing, though it would be rather tasteless, even for a fat fuck.
>>2294753
That's why they suck. They're so fucking common its unbearably, they've become so goddamn boring. I know this and even I own one.
>>2294778
I've watched the second part of John Wick and chuckled a bit when from all the cool guns in the background they gave him a Glock and AR15.
I've been a Mk23 fanboy until now, but it's a pretty outdated design - proprietrary rail, barely any hard holsters, only twelve bullets in such a huge gun, so I've been thinking of switching to something more modern, but I think I'll go back to using a Hi Capa, maybe this time I'll get a TM instead of a fucking WE.
It also has long mags and all the aftermarket support I could dream of.
For my main rifle I'll stick to F2000. Once I HPA tap it "reliability" won't be an issue, and I really dig the bullpup design. Maybe I'll get a P90 for CQB games, too.
>>2292364
SVD is a nice choice. The only problem is spare outer parts. Right now I have 556 FPS using 140 m/s spring, purple Prometeus and Modify 6.01 barrel.
Right now I'm planning to get some spare parts for gearbox one workshop makes.
>>2294446
Lipos are safe, bruh. I have some lipos that are kinda old, used, and even puffed. As long as you balance the cells with a proper lipo charger, make sure you store the battery properly, and don't let it get too hot, you'll be fine. It is recommend you use deans of course. I use venom batteries for RC cars as well. These brick ones even come with a little packet with a few adapters. Deans, traxxas, xt60, and some other connector. They even come with a warranty. If they ever puff or stop working properly venom will take care of you.
>Someone buys a G&G rifle well known to perform great out of the box, good seal, chink magic, whatever
>First thing he does is open up the gearbox and change shit to CYMA, JG and SHS parts

Why? Why do people do this?
>>2294850
Because stupid restrictions.
>>2294830
>has lmg
>not using 11.1 and capitalizing on his extra capacity and putting out walls of bbs.
I expected better from you.
>>2294853
It's more like:
>has lmg in which box mag runs on the same battery as the gun
>doesn't want to fuck the tiny box mag motor
>capitalizes on slower rate of fire and makes the bbs last longer.
I'm even thinking about going back to an 18:1 gearset so I can slow the rate of fire even more, and get better efficiency. I still can't figure out why this higher torque motor slowed my rof by 30 bbs a min, but fuck it. If it makes the battery last longer, whatever.
>>2293957
I told you It's shit, it's gonna break on you in a game.
Does anyone know of a Yuro/UK/SEA (with sensible shipping cost) company that makes kydex/serpa/whatever holsters for Dan Wessons 715? It does fit an universal holster I have, but recently I took the polymer pill and I would like to get a tek-loked holster for all of my sidearms.
>>2293545
They are supposed to have tanks, its a semi only event, and the rules are like any other milsim. The facebook page says more, Operation red thunder 2017.
>>2290673
It is. But it needs some modifications to work properly. But the weight distribution is really good and reloading is really easy for a bullpup.
>>2292364
SHS makes 19T pistons and gears. Real Sword gearsets aren't that hard to come by. All the other parts that matter are standard. Just because the gearbox looks, bit weird doesn't mean that it can't be upgraded well.
>>2294953
Yeah I think I'll pass. I want to see about going to an even that allows full auto at least once.
>>2294753
Glocks not as much as 1911s.
>>2294753
You can't buy Glocks anymore in the States thanks to Glock being trigger happy with lawsuits, and importing one can be sketch if the customs officer knows what he's looking at.
I see more 1911s than I do Glocks. Most Glocks I do see are KSC or Marui models owned by oldfags, with the occasional WE/VFC/HFC here and there.

Swapping internals so they don't explode later down the road is nothing new. SHS gear sets and pistons are way better than stock G&G.
Can't say why they would use JG or CYMA other than "muh custom gun"
I always laugh when I see some dumb 19 year old buying an airsoft gun. It's like why, you dumb fuck? Why waste your time and money? You don't know airsoft is deader than horse shit? What the fuck do you think's going to happen? Why do you think everybody in their late 20s and early 30s stops playing airsoft? Go to a milsim or pickup game these days. What's the average age of most of those airsofters? Why do you think that is? I'll tell you why: because being poor as shit is only fun when you're a stupid ass kid. Just as soon as your peer group moves on to adult pursuits you look fucking retarded playing the "cool kid who plays airsoft". Trust me, when all your family and friends have stable jobs, kids, and nice houses your playing airshit out of an old dilapidated rust covered CQB field won't measure up anymore. It's like.. think about what your doing, you dumb little shit. What are you trying to achieve? Do you really think you'll be one of the lucky few who'll wins the lottery and has a successful career in airsoft? I mean, really? Do you really think you're talented and smart enough to succeed in the airsoft industry? Are you fucking stupid?
And don't give me all that "I do it for myself" bullshit either. lol, no fuck you don't. You're doing it in the hopes that one day it'll garner you some peer recognition, you're hoping it'll help you climb up socially one day. You do it because you're a fucking loser who wants to desperately escape the societal pecking order you feel has marginalized you. Name a famous airsofter who started off wealthy. Oh, you can't? That's who you think you are, loser. You want that same success and you know it. Only problem with your plan is noone cares because airsoft doesn't matter anymore
Go to school, get a real job, and stop wasting your time trying to score "cool points" with other impressionable moron kids like you. You ain't gonna make it, you fucking idiot

>>2299040
It probably will fall apart. I don't know if they would feel it but you've got a good chance as far as revolvers go that its too hot or too weak for any sort of reasonable use. Its your money but 25 dollars can be spent so much better.
>>2299040
Airsoft taught me that you either buy properly or you don't buy at all.

Not the best for real guns, but perfectly fine for bbwars.

Yes and no.
I've used their P4 sniper scope, and the glass was fairly decent. Clear, decent eye relief, sharp reticle.
Held zero, but I never beat on it. I wouldn't trust it to hold if I dropped it, or if I banged it around a bunch.
It works for airsoft, but I wouldn't put it through anything more serious then scrims.

KWC GBB - large magazine plate is the only realism problem. Well-built, the 12rds magazine sits very tight. Beter than WinGun.
KSC - well-built, very thin 10rds mag, greengas, expensive.
IMO KWC would be the best choice
>>2302133
KWC makes a gas Makarov? Also I've heard nothing but issues with the KSC/KWA model, regarding things like low gas capacity, sluggish action, weak parts, etc.
>>2302140
This video is made for Airsoft-Rus shop, so they close their eyes on some problems. Or, probably, had no time to experience those problems.
And yes, KWC makes two makarovs: NBB (ultra-cheap, not very accurate, too powerful for an airsoft, according to other guy, Lancaster) and GBB CO2 (130$ at Evike).
>>2302133
cheers love
>>2302133
I thought they asked for full metal? these all look plastic
>>2302179
Nah they're all metal.
>>2302179
KWC and WinGun NBB models on video are plastic, but KWC makes metal ones too.
>>2301837
Whatever the fuck you do, do NOT buy a KSC Makarov. If you go read on any forum, you'll learn they are very poorly made, oftentimes within a short amount of time the trigger linkage will break because an exceptionally weak metal is used to set it up.
I almost had one myself, but luckily (and a very telling sign that I dodged a bullet) was that the last gun they had was DOA at the shop and so they said they couldn't ship it out to me, it failed a simple few shots test. I got the WE Makarov in the end because we pretty much have no other easy option here in Canada, and I'm pretty happy with it. It feels a fair bit more solid than a lot of their other guns, and works well. Of course it's a WE so it's not perfect but they are a decent option to consider. as long as you don't get the KSC you should be fine.
>>2302375
There's been multiple reports of KSC/KWA Maks arriving DOA. I'm pretty sure Booligan was one of those people who got one DOA.
>>2302464
Yeah, Jonathan from Airsoftology had one that lasted a very short amount of time also. They just really fucked that design up, they're one to avoid.

It should work with an F2K since it's fairly light compared to that L85. You could always make one yourself out of wood and have it be more sturdy, or you could get one of these:

I was thinking of getting a Thompson for my kit, any recommendations concerning manufacturers?
so far I'm thinking either King Arms or Tokyo Memerui, but the TM costs more than double of what I'd pay for KA, and I'm not sure that's worth it.
apparently neither has any real wood parts which is unfortunate but something that I'll have to deal with.
>>2306360
forgot to say, I want the army version, I don't like the Chicago one and it wouldn't fit either
>>2306370
Get the KA or the cyma one.
>>2305281
Alright, so I might of found something. But it's in South Africa, and the site isn't allowing me to register to buy for some weird technical glitch reason.
Why does god forsaken me?
>>2306958
Why not just get a GF85? They're like $400 on big american sites.
I know the struggle man, I was searching for an extremely rare piece myself a couple weeks ago, found one and bought it for about a third what it was worth since the guy didn't know what he had. Don't give up.

But I guess I'll have to settle for it if I can't find a F76.
>>2307345
Nice. Any reason you didn't grab the DG 105 from ASC?
>>2306101
Honestly I think if you just switched the stupid toque it would look pretty damn great. What company makes your Vikhr?
>>2306169
I like how the paint turned out, like the weapon platform in general because it's a cool twist on the vanilla M4, and I like the carrying handle, because I just like carrying handles. It all comes together very well.
>>2306360
Through my research I've heard that apart from the TM, the King Arms is the best Thompson. I owned one for a short time, so I didn't get to test it long term but for the couple of times I took it out and shot it I was very impressed, they're great guns. Wood kits can be found if you look for them, but they aren't overly cheap. Overall I'd say spring for the King Arms, because with the TM if you want any metal, you have to buy the kit for it, the KA comes with a metal top receiver at least.
Additionally, the Cyma and Snow Wolf versions are a step down, but many people have reported that they perform and last very well even so.
>>2306101
Playing in snow seems like fun. It gets too hot in the south.
Looking for a full length FAL, preferably full metal. That isn't $400+
>>2307857
There aren't any cheapsoft full length FALs yet (probably not enough of a market to justify cloning them).
So you're stuck with Ares/Star or King Arms.
>>2306101
>fin
Perkele
>>2307857
Just buy Ares L1A1 and upgrade it with better internals or just play with it until it shits itself and the upgrade it. King Arms classic style FALs without ris are rare and when found, very expensive.
You're gonna have to start practicing your jewing skills since this shit isn't going to be cheap on default.
Anyone with a UKARA number let me guy a Glock 17 gen4 with it?
>>2307370
Found one from shop located in the Netherlands (which you probably found as well if you can use google).
http://www.airsoftshop.be/en/g-g-gf76-long-advanced-fnc.html
I also paid roughly 500€ when I got mine in 2013 (brand new). It has always been an expensive gun. Sometimes you gotta make sacrifices to get something that you really want. I still recommend to continue looking around for used ones.
Also, GF76 doesn't exist anymore in the G&G 2016 official catalogue (pic related) so I assume the production of the said model has discontinued for good. GF85 still seems to be in production tho, however G&G clearly seems to have shifted their focus on the GK5 series.

Alright, listen up.
I'm here to let you guys know that GMR are currently recruiting for two ESM-Level 1 (entry level) positions in Bravo Sqdn.
If you meet the following MECs (minimum enrolment criteria) please consider submitting a T-PAP (training position application pack):
>peak physical fitness to PTE-5A standard
>proficiency in AT LEAST 3 weapons systems
>clean and full driving licence (this is an A1 priority since David left, there's been no one to drive us to Ops)
>no previous child sex offence convictions or related court orders
>warrior spirit and the desire for full frontal combat engagements
>3 character references

>>2311199
Well, I will mention this just in case the problems with the BB version end up transferring to the airsoft version.
I have Umarex's Brodax revolver, the .177 BB version, and to be honest yes, it was only $40, but it's still a bit of a let down. The problem with their cylinders is the retention system for the BB's is terrible, 1-3 BB's tend to fall out of the cylinders every time that I load them up. I really hope they fixed this problem because if they didn't, it's going to be an annoying revolver at best. So to be honest, I would wait until someone else buys one and tries it out and can show that the cylinders retain BB's. Otherwise you'll be encountering dud spots in your cylinder where BB's will actually roll out of your barrel as the cylinder indexes, or will fall out as you load them into the gun. I've encountered both of these problems after my second time out shooting the gun. So while everyone lauds the system at it's outset, I sure hope they fixed it and didn't just transfer the same system over.
To the Brodax's favour, however, the indexing feels very strong and positive, and the hammer position and grip angle is superb, it's a very fast gun to shoot. If they manage to fix this glaring issue it'll make a great sidearm.
>>2311560
What is 811 then?
>>2311698
Well that is concerning. I was going to order it tonight. Should I really hold off?

>>2312439
>talking shit about based Booligan
I don't expect much from a 60ish dollar, field legal polymer revolver.
>>2311809
I would personally until a review comes out. Because to be honest I don't think anyone has popped out a cylinder to see or show how BB's are retained, and if they haven't there's no way to be sure.
It's your choice but they might be a bit of a flop if they didn't do it a different way.
>JG G36 arrives tomorrow
>>2312603
>JG
just garbage
>>2312593
Just so you know, I'm >>2312578 and after watching Booligan's review I would have to say that as far as his example goes, there doesn't seem to be any cause for concern. He shook the magazines a fair bit and also mentioned that they seem to work really well, so I'd say from seeing that it's good to go. My .177's cylinder would have had BB's fall out the way he handled them.
The accuracy issue that Booligan mentioned might be a bigger detractor though, it performed well only at 50 ft or within.
>>2312973
yeah that is something that I have been thinking about. I think I will just go for it as a cheap fungun, and deal with how situational it is
