Hey, so my gbb AR suddenly is having hiccups with magazines.

I installed an RA Tech bolt-release on it recently, and now sometimes the gun will just get this hiccup where the bolt gets stuck halfway, pressing the gas valve on the magazines, venting a lot, sometimes all of the gas, before properly going into battery, sometimes it'll fire off 2 rounds in a burst when in semi-auto.

Also it doesn't seem to engage the bolt-hold open on the mags anymore.

Would changing the bolt-release actually cause these problems?

Also I use a Mobius action cam, they're fucking cheap and really moddable. One I've mounted by taking the standard case it comes with and dremieling two channels so that I can ziptie it to my rail. The other I've disassembled and modded into a small PEQ box.

I played at an event where he was the leader of the opposing team. I never saw him during the game; I imagine he spent most of the game going to and from the respawn.

Before and after the game he seemed kind of aloof, like he didn't want to be there. From his videos, I think he's a bit if a cock head because he always makes a big deal about his time in the military. The guy was a corpsman, which is the Navy's version of a medic. He wasn't in a combat MOS.

My course is over-saturated with snipers so I was considering picking up the ARES SL9 and giving it a butterfly or drum magazine to ruin their day. Thoughts? Otherwise I was going to pick up a gbb skorpion sidearm because i find myself having to shoot through peepholes frequently. Any thoughts?

That local milsim will be back next year. You'll always have an opportunity to go to locals at the fields you always go to for walk-ons anyway. The Guardian Centers, however, are not so easily accessed and who knows when Milsim West will next be out east, especially after the debacle at MUTC with John Lu. Are CYMA/ASG (presuming they're the same stuff) 7,2v micro AEP batteries good (for the AEPs they're meant to be used in, obviously)? I've got an ASG Glock 18 AEP I got for 40€ and I need a new battery for it. Can't seem to find marui micro batteries, only micro EX batteries (which are too large for Glocks)

The 5th Panzer has a pretty stout pedigree, my friend. In WW2 they played a major role in Axis tankery in Poland, France, and on the Eastern Front. In the Cold War they formed the backbone of the first wave of armor that would repel the Warsaw pact.

I just recently traded two of my guns for my friends Matrix Kar98k with a reproduction scope, leather sling, snd 4 magazines. It was a rough trade. He treated the gun the like crap. Hop up was bent, barrel was loose, tape marks all of the woop, wood glue wherr he glued pieces on instead of tighting th screws, screws missing and so on. Is there anything I can do to make this easier on myself? Is there a place where I can get magazine orings for cheap?

Also, have any of you picked up a beat up gun in the hopes of saving it?

Opinions on lacer tactical guns?
I've got a G&G MP5, but want to switch to an AR platform and try to replicate my real AR 'pistol' as closely as I can.

I've heard their externals are kind of shit, but I reckon most of that will be replaced eventually, definitely the outer barrel, stock, and handguard ASAP.
Planning on doing the milsimwest game as cossacks (so I guess I should go AK pattern, but I don't have a real steel ak so that doesn't make a ton of sense outside of that game)

Lancer Tactical are known as budget-tier guns, sacrificing quality parts both internally and externally for a lower price point. They will shoot BBs decently, but will be outclassed by guns that have either been upgraded with aftermarket parts or stock guns with higher quality parts. They will also wear out easier than other guns with better internal parts.

As far as MSW/Cossacks go, an AK would be ideal, but not required. Cossacks are open to all weapon systems but are discouraged to bring any weapon that has lots of 'cool guy' attachments on them.

There are plenty of well made AKs that will serve you well, even if you aren't familiar with them. While you make the argument that you want to replicate your actual firearms, I would counter that there are many people that do the opposite to keep their heads straight with which ones shoot bullets versus BBs.

If you want to replicate your own personal AR I wouldn't skimp on the rifle you buy. Rather than have a "Ship of Theseus" rifle where literally every part gets replaced, you may as well buy separate parts and assemble it exactly how you want it, or pick a sturdier initial rifle and only adjust certain features.

As for the question of an AK for the MSW game, AKs can be had at really affordable prices. Whether you choose to modify it or not would come after the fact, but the externals on most CYMA 40xx series, LCT, E&L, etc are pretty rugged to begin with.

Depending on the number of magazines, condition, and extras included you could probably get that much.

If the thing is looking scuffed and has 1 mag and no battery and hasn't been maintained internally don't expect more than 150 if you're lucky.

Does anyone know the dimensions for the screws that secure the grip into the gearbox on TM-compatible M4's?

The chinkshit ones that get shipped with everything don't last more than 5 or 6 gearbox takedowns so I'm looking to get a supply of good quality spares.

r/airsoftmarket has a very active community and I've always had success there. Other than that local b/s/t groups on facebook if you can find them and of course ebay. If you break the gun down and bubble wrap the pieces you can probably fit it into a decently sized box that wont cost a fortune. I've managed to fit a vfc scar L into a large flat rate before. If you can find out the estimated cost of shipping before hand you can factor it into your price or just let the buyer know you want $175 + shipping

There's also TM Recoilshock guns but I don't know if they're worth it or not, I'd have to have someone else weigh in on that.

I was looking at the Lancer Tactical STG, and was wondering if anyone has owned one of these before? Also do the AGM mags fit in it? I read that they fit most Stgs but i figured id double check.

If what the Anon below says is true, I've owned an AGM STG. I sold it, and at times I'm not sure I should have. The things I can tell you about it is that it's fucking heavy, somethig I liked because it replicates that aspect of the actual rifle quite well. The mags I bought fed like garbage with the Walmart esque BBs, which I was once upon a time buying for target shooting (a practice I've since stopped because the money saved isn't worth the fuckery) but with anything even decent such as King Arms BBs, even the magazine I had where the internals were shaking inside of the shell never missed a beat.

Now, a few warnings; the potmetal the reciever is made out of isn't very impressive stuff, I missed a tiny screw taking mine apart and I bent the metal until it snapped with my hands. Probably will get you through though if you're not a fucking retard like me. Additionally, the motor in mine didn't last very long at all, it fucked up and needed to be replaced, which is a pretty easy task anyways, just be aware lemon pieces and parts are possible. To be fair though putting a $30 Echo1 motor in it so that I could get it sold made it sound like a monster, so putting a good motor in it could put a smile on your face. And lastly, mag pouches are kind of a pain for these, it's tougher to find modern ones that fit than your usual AK, and the classic style require a bit of shopping around to find a good set. All this being said, I would go as far as to recommend these, they're pretty god damn cool guns, and they work fairly well.

Airsoft is a lot of running so I'd advise you ease yourself into some cardio and maybe some leg exercises.
It also depends on the type of game and field. Some fields are close quarters oriented and are like 10 minute stints with short sprints of running, while a field oriented game will probably last 30 minutes to an hour with lots of walking and jogging. Most fields also have rentals so you can try it out for the day.
