Well i've landed one today in the game of skate, the guy did not even understood what was that.

I can't do tres and i don't even have a kickflip on lock, so i'm going to work on these since they don't seem to be a very common thing.

I also like frontside 360 shuvs, my fs shuvs came naturally for me, so i hope that i'll be able to learn 360 variant to. It's actually super rare to find someone who can actually do them, usually it's the guy who also can land all heelflip variations and lasers.

a while ago I posted a video of me skating. That was after maybe 3 months of knowing how to ollie. Not its been a solid year after I learned how to ollie and I have been trying to kickflip, and made a video of my attempts. I understand that i'm not really committing or making an attempt to get my foot on the board. I'm unsure as to whether it's my flick or just lack of commitment. Any help is appreciated

My FS pop shuvs are probably my cleanest and most-on-lock trick. However, I've been trying front 3 shuvs, front big spins, and lazer flips for over a year and I've never even come close to landing them. They're hard tricks, man.

I think i know what the problem is. Your front shuvs are probably clean but you don't pop them high and don't really jump, the board just spins under you really fast?
If that's what's happening you have to concentrate on making them as high as possible. And by high i mean you should really bone them like the ollie. The idea is that if you can hover for a really long time while jumping back you will be able to let the board spin all the way through.

I'm not sure if that's going to help, but i can do really high backside pop shuvits and i think that helped me with 360 variation.

i used to inline and desu i wish i still did but it's dead as fuck. going to a skatepark and looking like a kook with your friends is much easier than going to the skatepark in blades by yourself. there was a short time where i used my rollerblades more than my board but that was a very long time ago. i've been strictly skateboarding for about 8 years.

Depends on what size foot you have, if you're a 12 or 13 that might be workable. Its a good very/tranny board if you want to have multiple setups also.

Heath Kirchart rode boards that big. You could make it work. But yea most skaters today have a 8.5 as their 'big' board

When doing a 50-50 on a curb do I want put more weight in the middle of the board or closer to the elevated side? Also, I assume the painted part has less friction than regular concrete, yeah?

Yea but sometimes the paint just chips away othertimes its so thick it works like wax so you cant always count on it being the same everywhere & you want to kind of press into the elevated side a bit but if the curb is rounded even a bit you might not be able to without it just rolling over and off so in that case you need to be right in the middle over the metal of the truck and pressing into the edge of the curb or even pushing the wheels of the lower side in to lock on

Tried it a few times when I was in NZ recently, it's pretty cool when you get it down but as skater I don't really get it, there's a lot of effort paddling back and forth and I feel like there's just so much more room for creativity in skateboarding, surfing is more chill but skating is far more fun in my opinion.

I've learned how to ollie from a youtube and i had to re-learn it because i was doing it completely wrong.
Watching trick tip videos can be sometimes counterproductive because i even saw people talking about foot position for, let's say 360 shuvit and then when they do it their feet are in a different position.
You can't trust this shit, you have to figure it out yourself.

Just curious, how often do you guys skate?
Do you skate everyday and if so for how long?
I think I skate about 30 minutes a day on average, after that I usually get a shinner or bail and just say fuck it, go inside and crash on the couch, I feel like shit for not skating more.
