Matt is actually trying to tell us something. He's unironically ironically satirically portraying an over the top post-modern WWE. The WWE is Rome, and Reigns is Nero. In other words, we're being worked into a shoot by Matt Hardy, but it's a worked work that's actually a shoot work, however, the work is the shoot, and the shoot is the work. It's wrestlingkino at its finest; probably ranking up there with Ric Flair's styling and profiling promo.

Damn.

Does anyone else think this has far beyond passed the rating of a "B-Tier" PPV?

It seems ever year MITB is ridiculously stacked and especially in the past 6 has been incredibly significant, not limiting to WWE's only 5 star match in like 10+ years.

I'd go as far and say MITB has surpassed Survivor Series which has turned into a joke

He didn’t change as a person but he did start overestimating himself
