General tips: Assume Lizzie is listening in all scenes and say nice things. It's okay to disagree with her, she's self-aware. Don't choose too many romantic options in a row or she'll figure out you're manipulating her.

Not gonna do a whole guide, but it helps to understand the structure of the game. The game doesn't choose your route based on flags, but variables. The average decisions you make change these variables, while the big branches are at certain points based on your variables so far.

For example, when Lizzie invites you to her house, different things can happen. If you have sex with her, you go down the "girlfriend" branch. If not, you do the "kidnapping" branch. If your variables suck, you might be forced onto the kidnapping branch without a choice.

Both of those branches split into two as well, leading to four different ending scenarios. If you do well on the girlfriend route, you can stop Lizzie from killing your lab partner. If you choose the right options in the basement, you can get the chance to escape but stay instead.

It gets trickier from there, because there are lots of other details. For example, if you talk to teachers and act suspicious, then you'll get in trouble on some of the branches (otherwise you can safely avoid attention).

The true ending is on the kidnapping path, staying with Lizzie, then not running away from school. But if your stats are bad, John dies instead of helping Lizzie go full yandere.

The most professionally made game is Summertime Saga, despite what faggots will tell you. CoC and TiTs are also both very complete games with a ton of content. Most /wegs/ never make it to this stage though, so more often than you're left with half-finished games that developers abandon sooner or later.

I can strongly recommend Free Cities, Girl Life and Lilith's Throne. They're all in development especially the latter, but they have much higher quality in production than many other games in the genre.

I semi-disagree, it really depends on where your talents are. 3D stuff obviously requires assets and training in using software and a basic knowledge of anatomy and art, but don't underestimate writing skills.

Just giving you an update on the Phantom in Middleton Park game Welp and I are developing.
The art is still coming along smoothly as well as the writing and coding for the game.

The main reason why I want to talk to you guys is to let you know on how we plan on doing updates. We have two kinds of updates that will alternate every full update. One will be story and the other will be character plot lines. the story updates will be episodic in nature and will mostly have a ghost/villain of the month story with the main plot progression slowly throughout. The character plot lines will be focusing on a 1 or 2 relationships the player can interact with. This way we don't spread out content thinly between characters. How we decide on which character gets an update hasn't been decided yet but I feel like it's great perk to allow patreons to vote for who should get updates next.
