If you want a review. The system of the game is "alright". The main thing I've noticed is that it's one of those games that have a timer. As in, the game ends at day 50 whatever you do and considering the fact that it takes a lot of days to get progress with the characters, that feature is a little pointless.
Then again, I'm pretty sure I missed something which is why the game ended so abruptly.

I tried Violated Herione and while I like the concept I just can't stand the engine. It's clunky and unintuitive, and it's just a hassle to use. The dialogue and the way it is displayed also drives me up a fucking wall, but that's a fault more in common with JRPGs in general. I'm a fast reader and used to cRPGs where you get a wall of text The whole concept of just getting to see one sentence, then be forced to press a button for the next sentence and so on, is incredibly annoying.

Because LoQO is fun, the combat is stock, mid-late 90's, JRPG shit, but everything else is pretty fun.

What I always liked about it was that it sort of had that GTa: San Andreas level of self awareness where, they try to have some sort of serious premise for the story, but are also self aware about the nature of the game to make it hilariously stupid, and take advantage of it.

Most WEGs fall into the extremes of trying WAY to hard to be "serious", or just don't try at all and make it nothing more then a rape-a-thon, but I always found like LoQO found that nice middleground.

Though, Sparrow's artwork is utter dogshit, and I always play with the eastern artwork version

In LoQO:O, the eastern art has a sort of Bible Black vibe in a lot of places, which i found appealing.

None of them honestly. I just show up every 4-5 days to see if something updated. 99% of western games are pure garbage. I only play them if I'm burned out on my usual stuff and need something different to get me off. Having it as an option in the game is fine. Not having a debug mode that unlocks the scenes after you've completed it so you don't have to go through them again is bad. It's the one thing that pisses me off about it from a completionist standpoint. Before you say that's weird, the text provides context that makes it uncomfortable. Initially RPG Maker but the DSE framework that i needed is outdated as fuck and getting it to work goes beyond my abilities. I knew enough to make a simple visual novel but for a dating sim it was not enough.

Using RPGMaker VX instead but dont worry there are no combat and i will only use two maps at most.

I think this is the key reason why a lot of rpgm wegs run like shit. It's easier for someone with no technical skills to make a game with it. There must be subtler things to make rpgm games run smoothly. Those Japanese games on dlsite runs really well. On the other hand, ICSTOR and ICCreations games run like shit. Gates: The Opening is by far the worse. I don't know is it a plug-in problem or something else.
